Unguarded and Unsubstantiated statements like this is what is causing problems. You end up putting others under undue pressure just because you are rich or wants to appear rich. Paddle your canoe in silence and let others do same as our journey can never be the same.

Wow.
This is a landmark judgement.
We can now out a face and name to the Chairman of these various local governments and hold them accountable. Its time to be less fixated on the FG and SG. Lets ensure that the grassroot grts the benefit of democracy.
The Local Governments should organise various social welfare programmes such as Food bank, and Old people homes.
Kudos Lateef Fagbemi SAN. You really do this one.

Kindly read the above post by Naptu.
Aikhomu became an Admiral after retirement.
Admiral Ogohi was the the first Naval officer that attained the rank while still in active service in Nigeria. Followed By Admiral Ola Sa'ad Ibrahim.
This was made possible because they became Chief of Defense Staff.

Oga, IBB promoted all the service chiefs (Abacha, Aikhomu, and Alfa) to the rank of 4-star generals in October 1987, which made Aikhomu a full Admiral.
And IBB was on which rank Sir?

Health / Meet Dr. Oladejo Olaleye, A Nigerian Doctor Breaking Grounds In Cancer Treatment by HORLADY(m): 10:43pm On Mar 18
A Nigerian Doctor doing exploits in UK. According to him, the new Leicester Robot was formally commissioned yesterday for the head and neck cancer robotic programme that he pioneered 🙌🥳. The Samworth Foundation donated £1.5 million to purchase the daVinci robot which he has already started using to treat patients with throat cancers. It allows high-definition visualisation of cancers with complete clearance, improved survival and better quality of life as patients avoid the toxicity of chemoradiation (which is the alternative treatment over 6weeks). He is ecstatic that the moment has finally come after years of training, grant writing and galvanising culture change in the hospital. He is thankful to his wife Jaiye and daughters for their constant support and to us, his community of friends ❤️

Its a good move as it will encourage Local Content.
We shouldn't be afraid of reciprocity from any country afterall Nigerians abroad can testify on how much they part with just to be a common caregiver.
