mekusinc:I think you need to check the previous messages. |
Hannania:Oh, thank you! |
I received this email but my application still displays "You are on the waiting list". What do I do from here please?
|
Dikaaachi:Oh sorry, you don't have to apologize. PLease feel free to ask future questions. |
Dikaaachi:someone already answered this question but you kept spamming the thread. If the person can help you with the money to fund your blocked account, that will be better. Otherwise, he must be in Germany. |
Mytime21:Please don't waste money on ZAB. B. Tech is equivalent to a university degree in Germany. And if your university is H+, you are good. Just print those proof. You don't have to see your specific course there. Read the last part of my screenshot.
|
Haliimmaa:Hi namesake, if you used Expatrio, they have a full package that comes with health insurance. |
CassyNg:That's not what you are supposed to check. You need to check your degree type, either B. Tech, BSC, B. Ed etc. not the course of study. Degree type must be A3, and university H+. |

Oyindamolah:Thank you Oyinda, the job strictly requires I live in Abuja and I promised to move to Abuja. I don't mind living there if I get a good job, but I still prefer Minna due to the low cost of living and population. |
illicit:I know, that's why I need advice... |
HotPoundedYam:I have to pay rent ![]() |
illicit:will figure that out when the time comes. |
illicit:I will be serving in Abuja 100%. |
Hello everyone, please I need advice on a decision I need to make. I'm a fresh grad and I got an IT internship role in Abuja. I'm currently in Niger State but no jobs here at all. I've tried out a few businesses and all failed. The internship comes with a monthly salary of 100k, and I must be around Lugbe, so I need to rent a single room...My question is, considering the current cost of living in Abuja, will 100k be enough at all? Also, I will be going for NYSC in the next 2-3 months, which means my allawee will be an addition. I'm currently a cloud/software engineering student. My plan is to be able to work remotely one day, but I need something to sustain me for now. I need realistic advice. Thanks NB: I know my standard of living is a factor here. I don't party or follow trends. I'm not materialistic. I wear what I have, I eat protein when I see and I only make friends of knowledge. |
1sherlockHolmes:He is not an Hausa man. |
HarunaWest:Lesson learnt in the hardest way. |
success2me:Thank you, I later searched the name on facebook after the scam and realised she's a notorious one. |
Britishpea:Thank you 🙁 |
ikeno:Thank you 😭 I've done that already |
SocialJustice:Thank you, would do that right away. |
SocialJustice:The shop guy is an aboki, the real shop owner is an igbo man, the aboki said he do snap the oil, add his own profit and post on facebook and the scammer is the first person that would chat him up for patronage. He showed us their chat history. |
illicit:Thank you. This amount is too much just to learn |
More screenshots. I searched for the scammer's location online and see that she lives in Abuja. Please if you leave around independent avenue and can help confirm the location 🙏 |
Dear Nairalanders, This is my first post on this platform. Please, I got scammed on Facebook by one Damilola Abike Fatai, using her Momo account and Carbon account of Oluwanifemi Olamilekan Akintunde. I recently got into the palm oil business as I see there's a business opportunity in it here in Minna. I buy from Osun at the rate of 42k and sell in Minna at the rate of 57k. I had just little money, so I talked to a few people who showed interest, and they contributed and get their percentage every week. 4 weeks into the business, the palm oil price skyrocketed in Osun, and we started looking for where to buy at a lesser price so we won't have to increase our selling price, because we already sell like 5k below market price. We couldn't get cheaper palm oil; the price kept going up, while the market price was coming down in Minna due to competition, and my customers were seriously demanding for palm oil. The pressure was much, so I decided to go on Facebook to source for palm oil millers that can sell for me with payment on delivery. I made a post and received a number of DMs and comments. I knew scammers would be among, so I was taking my time. One comment that caught my attention was that of the scammer. She wrote, "I have in Minna for 49,500, would you be able to pick up? Very fresh and tastes good." I told myself, why not? Even if it was 50k, I would be willing to, as long as it's even closer to me. To cut the story short, this scammer never gave me a hint to doubt her. She delayed it so much that I started calling her severally. She would tell me tomorrow; I would call her tomorrow, and she wouldn't pick or not even go through. If she eventually picked, she would say her phone is faulty, and she has been managing it. Fast forward to the 3rd day of going back and forth with the scammer, she called me last week Wednesday, and I told her I went out, and I would call her when I get home. I got home and called again, and her number wasn't going through. The next day, she called that she didn't see my call, and I told her I did call her. So I asked why the delay, and she claimed her customer she does send the oil to has sold the ones she had before, and she had to send another 43 gallons which had arrived, and I can go pick up, and that the oloriburuku guy has already started distributing the palm oil to sellers in Kure market, and she didn't send him. I asked for the guy's number, she sent it, and I called the guy, but it was already too late that Thursday as Kure market closes at 6 pm. So I told the guy I would come on Friday. I am enrolled in a software engineering course at ALx and also started cloud engineering at Altschool, so I hardly have time, and I needed to be at the service area I go to study. So I sent my partner in business that usually runs the errands and the keke man that helps bring the palm oil from the park whenever they arrive. When they got there, saw the oil, and they called me it's a good oil and that the gallons are being filled. The scammer called to ask if we are satisfied with the palm oil, and I said yes. And then, she sent her account details, and my people called that I can pay that the oil is up to 12 gallons. All this while, the guy attending to them at the shop was also calling the woman and telling her to send money. But the people I sent weren't aware of what was going on. So as I was making the transfer, my partner called that although there is something they noticed, but we'll discuss when they get home, that I should quickly pay so they can leave early. I paid and was called back that the shop guy said he doesn't know her and that he posted his market on Facebook, and she called that she would send some people to come and pick up the palm oil for her. At that point, I knew I have been scammed. So I immediately picked up my phone to call my bank, but their number wasn't going through. I took a bike to the bank and dropped the necessary details, and they said they will call me. Please, Nigerians, I started this palm oil business so I can afford food and data while scaling through my learning phase in tech. This scammer has just taken every penny I have and also put me in debt. I haven't informed my investors about this at all because I feared they would start asking for their money immediately, which I don't have. The following are the accounts and phone numbers the scammer used. Please help me. Her numbers are still active because I tried to reach her with my other lines, both on WhatsApp and voice call, and it went through, but she blocked it again. Please i will appreciate if there is a way to track this scammer. I can't even concentrate in learning anything because of this debt. Momo account - 0810 462 9438 Damilola Abike fatai, I sent 137,890 naira here. Carbon account - 8259671686 Oluwanifemi Olamilekan Akintunde I sent 300K and 150K here. Opay - 9169105225 Damilola Abike fatai. she also provided this opay acocunt but the transaction failed.
