Rivers state is dominated by the igbos politically right from 1999 and still they cannot make the list even if we extend it to ten. Delta State that is dominated by the Urhobos politically and otherwise is among the list. The old Bendel state comprises of Edo and Delta and when it was formal Bendel state, the binis and the Urhobos dominated it both educationally and politically.
The igbos in delta are the second largest tribe in Delta and with 9 local governments while Urhobos has 8 local governments but still yet, the Urhobos dominates the State University in terms of lecturers and students.

All tribes in Delta according to their numbers values education except the ijaws which are coming up now.

I just understood from this article why people say Igbos are greedy, I think it's because of their accuracy in making money out of nothing.

Are Igbos Jews?

I don't know.

It is strange: Jews have been disliked everywhere and in all times. The dislike appears in odd places. I was astonished to find that my Nepalese trekking guides were intensely hostile to Jews. They said that Jews (actually Israelis in most cases I think, but the Nepalese do not seem to make the distinction) were loud, demanding, and always trying to force down the guides’ fees. Historically the hostility has often been powerful and, not infrequently, murderous. Jews have been expelled from country after country, excluded from polite society, subjected to quotas,and required to live in certain regions. Why?

How much anti-Jewish hostility is there today in America? A lot? A little? Is it negligible? Potentially explosive? It is hard to tell because disliking Jews is often a firing offense, and a controlled press makes discussion impossible. A clue can perhaps be found in the comments sections of political websites where, protected by anonymity, commenters are often bitterly anti-Jewish. One I think is the Space Alien Effect. It is human nature to dislike people different from oneself. This fact runs against today’s cult of diversity, which accounts for the disastrous reality of American life, but a glance around the world reveals that diversity causes most of the planet’s troubles: Sunni and Shia, Jew and Muslim, Tutsi and Hutu, black, white and brown in America, Tamil and Sinhalese; Turks and Kurds; Turks and Armenians; Thais and Muslims, Germans and Jews. Protestants and Catholics in Ireland, on and on for a very long list of religious, ethnic, and racial differences. Diversity is nobody’s strength.

Diversity often disappears through assimilation. Today people named O’Toole and Libertini may be proud of their ancestry, but they think of themselves as American, not as Irish and Italian. So do others. Thus hostility to them, once intense, has vanished.

Jews do not assimilate. Yes, they speak the same language, wear the same clothes, and peck at smartphones like everyone else. Yet they think of themselves as Jews. So, therefore, does everyone else. An Igbo union was formed in Lagos in 1934 and later expanded to become Igbo federal union (subsequently the Igbo state union) in 1944 to include all local Igbo associations throughout the country. Frequently, the "improvement" or "progressive" associations as they were called functioned as organs of local self government, providing ad hoc courts to settle disputes, supplying members with welfare benefits and employment opportunities, levying taxes and generator command civil spirit. Igbos absorbed western education as readily as they responded to modernisation. Although the Yoruba's led the thrust for education because of their advantage of first contact with the british, the igbos since 1930 have shot ahead. By late 1940s, the disparity between the Yoruba's and the igbos had virtually disappeared. There were nearly as many igbos students (115) as Yoruba's (118) in the University College ibadan by 1952. Many igbos studies abroad principally the U.S.A in contrast to the Yoruba's who tended to favour the U.K. More than two-third(2/3) of Nigerian students studying in the U.S.A were of Igbo origin until the late 1940s[/b]

In the North, for example, the Hausa-Fulani have always been the most Ethnocentric, suspicious of cultural penetration nd economic competition from the south, protective of deeply ingrained traditional institutions, united by discipline of their Muslim religion, and strongly resistance to change in their theocratic emirate system of political rule. Despite the history of their dominance in the federation, the North has largely segregated themselves from the rest of the nation, remainded the most insular region in the country and became resentful of the progress being made modernization of the southern region.
