The Federal Polytechnic, Ado-Ekiti was established in accordance with Decree 33 of 1979 based on the Federal Polytechnics Act (Cap. i39) as amended by the Federal Polytechnics (Amendment) Decree No.5. of 1993.

The Polytechnic, located at Kilometer 8, Ado-Ikaree Road was established for the training of middle and high level technical manpower for the economy of the nation. The Institution caters for a large student population enrolled in full and part time programmes at the National Diploma and Higher National Diploma levels. The National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) accredits all academic programmes the Institution runs.

Qualifications & Experience

The Candidate must possess a good Bachelor's Degree (Honours) in Engineering plus at least eighteen (18) years cognate experience in project management and maintenance in Polytechnic or comparable tertiary Institutions.
In addition, the candidate must be fully COREN registered while membership of the Nigerian Society of Engineers as well as publication of papers in relevant field will be an advantage.
Salary and other Benefits

The basic salary attached to the position of the Director, Maintenance & Services is CONTEDISS 15, that is (N4,058,262.00 - N5,316,520.00) per annum. Also, the appointee shall enjoy other benefits of office as may be approved from time-to-time by the Federal Government of Nigeria.

Job Description

The Territory Sales Officer will be responsible for developing and executing all key growth sales strategies, tactics and action plans both short and long range, targeted toward existing and new market required in achieving company financial targets within an assigned territory.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Own and hit/exceed monthly/annual sales targets
Develop and execute strategic plan to achieve sales targets and to expand the company’s agent network
Provide a monthly/annual sales plan and quarterly updates, revisions and modifications to the plan
Monitor and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships with existing and potential Trade partners
Responsible for coordinating the specific objectives of the Sales Plan with all of the functional departments of the company and, most specifically with the Finance and Business Development department

Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations
Understand category-specific landscapes and trends, reporting on the forces that shift tactical budgets and strategic direction of sales forecast.
Keep up to date with recent market and industry trends, competitors, and leading customer strategies
Requirements

Minimum of HND/B.Sc
Ability to communicate in English and local languages
1-3 years’ experience in sales/marketing
Must have an android phone
Must be aggressive and willing to work.
