I use a bbz30 which supports android app, I just upgraded the whatsapp to the latest version and it's working fine here....
ways to maneuver whatsapp demise on bb.
1. update your bb os to bb 10 and the latest firmware.
2. download android whatsapp and them goto to bb world and download whatsapp fixer: this is necessary for you to be able to upload videos and share status.
3. install the whatsapp and the whatsapp fixer.
4. complete the necessary steps and open the fixer, close your whatsapp from the devices monitor and complete the steps on the whatsapp fixer.
5. share this and like.
6. say thank you......

I've downloaded the fixer but it refuses to open.

It's not as bad as u think. Mine stopped working this morning. I just uninstalled the whatssap totally on my phone and re downloaded a new whatssap using this link - https://www.whatsapp.com/android/

I then installed it and the latest version of whatssap is now working on my blackberry phone. In fact, far better than the one I was using before. You can give it a try

I had to confront our first born on Whatssap lately to confirm whether he meant all he used to say to me.. those words keeps ringing in my head and everytime, it makes me dislike him more.
