Marc9: Truth be told: UI is a myopic school. In their bid to standardise the school in fairness, transparency, and so on, they ended up flopping the process.

1st of all, the school has trivialised JAMB, using only their post-utme for admission! Now what's d essence for candidates studying hard and scoring high in UTME since all UI requires is mere "200+" , afterward, their UTME is dumped in a trash bin?!

2nd of all, the school is subtly compelling candidates to derail or "port" frm their dream courses to unrelated courses, disguised as fall-back courses!

3rd of all, they say matriculated students cannot "re-matriculate" in the same university. So, an MBBS candidate dat missed out with just a 2-score trail, and was offered fisheries as fall back course, in d event he decides to seek solace in d fall back course, it means he'll nt be allowed to try again in d same school?! That's like transmutating people's dreams to Nightmares

Truth be told: If UI was a lady, I'd have given her a hot slap to re-align her sense of reasoning!

ayodeji752: I was given admission in ui tru elds. I am very sure ui does merit, locality(d six southwestestern states) and elds. I later ignored d admission cos i wanted mbbs. D cuttoff ui just released is only for merit but i dont trust dis prof Adewole cos it seems he derives pleasure in candidates not being admitted. D admission capacity for ui is abt 6500 but he might not be admittin more dan 3000 as usuall. Unilag admitted over 300 in its law dept while ui wont be admittin more dan 130 in same dept. Ui, d first but d worst. They are d best in denyin intelligent candidates admission.silly prof Adewole

Now tel me how UI's website wld accommodate all d 36 states if they were to release d cut-off like d above format? D page won't fit in d site! So all they do is release d Merit cut-off only, but dat doesn't mean d catchment doesn't apply. But youngsters like dos kiddos dat are dyslogic, misconstrue everythng. They think UI doesn't apply catchment cos all they see dat UI publishes is just d merit cut-off!

Is UI a private sch? Is UI a state sch? Is UI bigger dan NUC? Is UI in charge of admission or jamb? Who issues letters of admission, UI or Jamb? Is Catchment/ELDS on federal schools nt by Law?! Hw den did a score of 63 against cut-off of 65 made d 1st list in UI last year?! Hmmm! Psycho-minuscules!

Well, I still stand to be corrected sha!!!!

1) Some may not know. It usually end 3days after its commencement.

2) Some may not want any course.

3) Some might be a student of an institution and can't accept any course.
