Here is this story of what happened to one of my pals, some have critisized him for what he did. after reading it, i want you to tell us if you agree with them. here is the story.....

Just like my pastor said, I quote “when people say a particular thing about you consistently and continuously, others who don’t know you and have not been with you would believe what they say”. When I graduated from the university, I searched for a good job. I studied economics; as I searched tirelessly for job there was no job to be found. For about 4 years I searched in the banks, insurance companies and even accounting firms, they all said no vacancy at that moment for me. This faithful Thursday morning, a friend of mine called me, he told me that there was a vacancy at one of this new generational bank in that city and that I should apply. I didn't even wait till the next day, immediately he dropped the call, I dressed up immediately, took my CV and went to this bank to drop my CV. 2 days later they called me up, luckily I was the only person who applied and the lady who called me said I met all their criteria and the job has been to me. I was very happy that day, finally I got a job after much wait.
I started work the next Monday which was 2 days later after they called me that the job has been given to me. My appointment letter was giving to me that same day. I worked as one of the chief auditors which was the position I applied for. As time went on some staff came to love me except for few, maybe they felt I was a threat to them. The job of an auditor requires carefulness and a very conscious mind. I try as much as possible to do my work very well, avoiding errors and mistakes when auditing accounts and returns. I challenge mediocrity with thorough carefulness, boldness and respect. All these made my boss come to love me that he often refers me as one of their best staff.
Few months later Problem started when one of my colleague brought one of our customer' s account statement for me to cross check, unfortunately this particular customer was a member of my church and a very wealthy business man. Before this my colleague brought the account statement, this account owner had already called me personally some 3 days back, and made a complain to me because he knew I worked in this bank. He told me that in the last 2 weeks about N25,000 was deducted from his account without his authorization. When my colleague brought account, I decided to use the opportunity to confirm what he said. I did a thorough check on cash inflow and outflow that period. Behold it was true, I gave him back the account statement. I decided to do a personal investigation on how the money left that account, but I have made up my mind not to tell this my church member anything concerning the deductions till I finish my investigations. But this my church member is very observant, for someone who has over N600 million in his account, a massive regular outflow and inflow of cash on that account and he's still observed that N25,000 left his account without his authorization. I did my investigations for one week and I discovered how the money was moved and who did it. We have never been n good terms since I came into that bank, we only greet “hi” when we see each other. I don't really know why he disliked me. I don't like having something to do with him, but since this incident has happened, I have to confront him about this issue since my evidence is linking him with this deed. I confronted him, at first he denied it but I showed him the evidence, he accepted and started apologizing. I quizzed him for a while and he confessed that he had also been doing it to some other customers. I bet those customers barely noticed it. He took me to a corner, he said I shouldn't report him to our Oga at the top, he promised to give me some huge amount of money. I immediately declined taken any thing from him. I agreed not to let anybody know about what happened in condition that he return the money immediately the same way he took it barely unnoticed, and never try such an act again. He agreed.
I came to the office this Wednesday afternoon, one of my colleague came to my office, she told me that our Boss said he wants to see me. I kept my bag and went to see him. I got to his office, he welcomed me and told me to sit down, and I sat. He told me everything he has been hearing about me. He said he got a report that I was involved in some shoddy deals, and that Bank customers do give me tip and I collect from them. That is one of the bank's Policies, staffs don't collect anything from customers. He didn't tell me who gave him the report, but this was exactly how he told me. I denied the allegations immediately, I explained to him that I can't do such a thing, even though he never explained the kind of shoddy deal I did. But he told he he trusts me and believes in me but if there is anything evil and bad against the bank's rule that I was doing, he said I shouldn't try it again. He gave me an important advice I didn't forget, he said I should be more careful and conscious of anything I do now. I took the advice seriously .
From then on I began to be careful of what I do and how I do it to make sure I don’t make mistakes because making mistakes will give my haters the opportunity to get at me, promotion and transfer time is near.
This so called cabals later formed their group, they are about 6 with 2 gorgeous ladies who felt that gossip was the order of the day for them. They will always find a way to disregard and fault my report. I don't send my oga my report directly, I send it through my colleague who is higher than me in rank, he cross checks it and moves the report to my boss. This my colleague is part of the cabals. Man is not short of mistakes, sometimes I do make some slight mistake in my report. That is why he is the senior Auditor, instead of him to correct it before sending it to the boss, he will rather take the file to the boss and report the errors. Sometimes my boss will ignore him and sometimes he calls me to order himself. Off all these I was still trying my best to tighten all the loosed ends and make sure all my works are perfect. But it wasn't possible because sometimes, in Auditing a report there can be last minute change of numbers and turn around, I still try my best to do the best I can.
This particular day my boss called me into his office, he showed me some errors I made why auditing some accounts and God it has not gotten to one of the people that hate me, the file went directly from me to my boss. My boss warned me and I promised I will be more careful next time. I came out of my boss’s office and I overheard some of the bank cleaners talking about me and how I make mistakes a lot and that some of my colleagues said I will be sacked soon, immediately they saw me they stopped talking and pretended nothing was happening. I ignored them and walked away. That was how another phase began. Daily I became the object of gossip in my work place, today I did some and the next day they will formulate another thing that I did, but of all these I still ignore all of them, for all these people who don’t know me or even come close to me will still believe what they say. I began praying for transfer to come quickly for them to transfer all the staffs that hate and gossip about me.
This faithful Monday morning, there have been rumors flying around that we will be getting a new boss and most of us will be transferred but I kept calm until our boss called all the staffs after the days job, he gave couple of people letters but none was given to me, he also announced that the following Monday, we will have a new boss. He also told us he has been promoted to a regional manager and everybody was happy for him. For me I was happy and at the same time sad because nobody will be there to protect me and I don’t even know much about the new boss. Out of all my colleagues who like, and close to me in that bank 95 of them were transferred and all those ones that hate me, none of them were transferred, I myself was not transferred. Staffs from other branches that were transferred to my branch will resume work the next day which was Tuesday.
Next day which was Tuesday came and we had couple of staffs to our branch, we exchanged pleasantries and introduced ourselves. By Friday of that week some of the new staffs started avoiding me, after work I called one of the staffs and asked her why they are all avoiding me, she said she wasn’t avoiding me but she was just being careful and minding her business, well I told her that I don’t know what people had told her about me, but she should be rest assured that am a great nice guy. She opened up to me that one of our old staff said that I was the reason why two of our staffs were sacked, and I use to put people into trouble. I asked her who told her but she refused to tell me. I denied all the allegations. But I never told her anything that transpired between the guy that was transferring people's funds to his account, not even my old boss knows about it, it was only known by both of us.
The next Monday my new boss resumed, he introduced himself to us and we did the same by introducing ourselves to him. The next day my new boss called me into his office and told me to resign, he said if I didn’t do so he will deal with me. I don’t know what they must have told him about me which he never asked me and he believed immediately. The next day I resigned from my job I worked for about 2 years. My friend who asked me to apply for the job was very angry with me, he said I should have not resigned, but I have no choice because my new boss might still sack me, am still searching for another job till now. “When people say a particular thing about you consistently and continuously, others who don’t know you and have not been with you will believe what they say”.

I watched Senator Ahmed Sani Yerima the former Governor of Zamfara and currently a Senator of the Federal Republic. On the AIT kaakaki show today, the two women who were interviewing Yerima asked him what his definition of “female maturity ready for marriage”, he said that defining maturity with age does not exist in his dictionary. According to Yerima, he said that he can’t use age of a girl to define maturity, if a girl has started experiencing menstruation and puberty, she is matured and can be given out for marriage. “Maturity has very little to do with age” Yerima said.
According to Yerima, he said he married his first wife at the age of 16 and almost all his daughters are married, he gave them out in marriage at the ages of 15 and 16. He also gave an example of his daughter who is an accountant now, he gave her out in marriage at the age of 15, she has 3 children now, she’s currently 21 while the daughter who is a pharmacist was married out at the age of 16, she has 2 children now and age 20. He said one of his daughter is getting married soon and she’s age i6. Yerima said he doesn’t see anything wrong in a girl marrying at the age of 15 or 16 provided the girl is matured physically and in puberty stage. He said islam supports it.

He was asked what early marriage is to him, he said early marriage is where a girl who is yet to attain puberty and matured is given out for marriage. He also defended his marriage to his 14 year old Egyptian saying she was matured at that 14 when he married her, the Egyptian girl is 17 and has a child for Yerima now.

He was asked if he can give out his daughters for marriage at age 13, he said “yes he can” only if she’s matured and in puberty.

The local Government autonomy has been on the lime light over a week now. The local Government wants to stand alone, they want financial independence and accountability, but the Nigerian senate has refused to throw their weight behind it. The local Government workers are expected to embark on 3 days warning strike starting from today but the Speaker of the House of the Representative Rt Hon. Aminu tambuwa has intervened. According to the chairman of the their Union who was interviewed today on a live program “Focus Nigeria” on AIT today Monday, Com. Ibrahim said that their planned strike have been shelved because the speaker of the house approached them and advised and urged them to shelve it that the local Government autonomy is in works and it will be addressed. He also said that the Honorable speaker is behind them for the autonomy but does not support the strike. Recall that the house of Representative voted massively for local Government autonomy, but the senate has yet to throw their weight behind it.

Their love was so sweet, their wedding was tagged a fairytale. After their marriage, first year came and gone but no issue. The second, third, till fifth, still no issue, mike’s family was worried and even ada’s parents became worried too as it has been 5years both ada and mike got married but no fruit of the womb from them. Mike’s parents became more concerned because mike was their only child and they want the lineage to continue.
The sixth year came after five years of waiting on God. The couple tried a certified hospital abroad, the doctors there told them they were ok, there was nothing wrong with them and they can both have a child of their own. They have been hearing this for a long time, that they can have their own kids. But since then she has never took in. The couple was so much on pressure to try traditional means but they refused. Mike wanted to adopt a child from the motherless and fatherless babies home but ada asked him to wait a little while that God will surely do it, God will give them kids of their own. Time was running, ada was 34 and mike was 35 years old, they were good Christians and and mike has no intention of getting a second wife even when his parents gave him the idea he refused it.
The couple had earlier refused seeking any traditional help but due to the pressures, and it was going to the 10th year of their marriage, they decided to try it. They tried the traditional means. They tried traditional herbal means for two years which failed. As the traditional has failed, they started trying technology, they tried one of the top hospitals abroad but it didn’t work, they came back home to Nigeria and tried some hospitals but still it didn’t work. Mike decided for them to adopt but ada refused.
After 22 years of their marriage without a child, mike was on pressure to divorce ada, ada was 50 years and mike was 51. Mike and ada decided for a divorce to enable him try out another woman if he can get a child from her. The decision was so painful to them, it was difficult decision but they finally came to agreement for them to go their separate ways. It wasn't easy for couples who had been married for about 20 years to divorce or annul the marriage when there was no quarrel and both of them love each other very well. They just did it based on agreement for mike to marry another woman and try if he can have a baby. Ada refused being a second wife.
After the divorce ada was devastated, she has lost hope of marriage again because she believed she was old and she really gave her best in her past marriage without anything in return.


Ada went to the market one day, she went shopping and met a man who was a widower; she found it surprising that she was attracted to him; she thought she was old and outdated and nobody could marry her again at 50. He is about 54 years old. They courted for 6 months and got married. She married at the age of 51. After two months of their marriage ada took in. at the age of 52 ada gave birth to a baby boy. It was beyond belief to so many people but Baba God did the miracle.

Given the conducive business environment put in place by the Cross River State Government, Africa’s youngest billionaire, Ashish J. Thakkar has made known his intention to invest in Calabar. Thakkar, who is president, Mara Group stated this while delivering a key note address at the 2013 edition of the Africa CEO Roundtable and Conference on Corporate Sustainability and Responsibility (AR-CSR) at Tinapa Business and Leisure Resort, Calabar.
According to the Ugandan, the decision to establish his presence in Calabar was based on what he has seen and heard of Cross River, which remains a veritable place to invest.

He explained that his investment in the state will be part of his effort to encourage young entrepreneurs to improve their capacity.

The billionaire said he was prepared to bring his wealth of experience to develop Nigeria, adding that “it is only when you give that you can have more, especially when giving to a group or society”

Thakkar disclosed that he professes Nigeria anywhere he goes as the best country and Cross River has further convinced him about that because of its available human and natural resources couple with the conducive economic environment put in place by government to attract investments and investors

All hell was losed last week when Americans discovered that white House (Presidency) has access to the servers of top American Companies like Google, Facebook, skype and Yahoo. The information was leaked out last week. The main reason they gave was because of National security. They are protecting America and Americans. But they are also spying on other countries of the world. If American Government has access to these servers, that means they are spying me, Nigerians and other rest of the world. I use facebook and we all use facebook too, google too. That means no be Only Baba God dey see wetin we dey do, another Eye from America and facebook dey see us too. When news broke out that Gej signed a contract with an Isreali IT company to monitor what Nigerians are doing on the internet, everyone was screaming, rejecting it, it is an invasion of Privacy. But in America the Government monitor the citizens and residents on the internet, they use it to prevent crime and also for National security purposes. The American Government don't tell the people before doing this but for this one they did! they are just spying the whole world, do you think they are going too far in having access to servers of facebook, google and other top American internet companies? what do you think?

Russia’s President Vladimir Putin and his wife Lyudmila have announced their “marriage is over”."It was our joint decision, our marriage is over," President Putin said in the interview to Russia24 state channel. The announcement was made at the Grand Kremlin Palace, where Vladimir and Lyudmila Putin attended the Esmeralda ballet. Asked to confirm if that was a divorce, Lyudmila Putina, who was standing by the President's side, told the media “Yes, you can say that, this is civilized divorce.”

"I do not like publicity, and the flights are complicated for me. We love our children, we are proud of them and see each other often," Lyudmila Putina.

Thursday’s ballet visit is the first joint appearance in more than a year. At the last Easter ceremony at Christ the Savior Cathedral, President Putin was accompanied by Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin.

However, Mrs. Putina said “they will always be friends”.

“I am grateful that he supports me," she said.

Vladimir and Lyudmila Putin have been married for 30 years, since 1983, three years after they first met.

Well it all started like a joke, this fine chick 4 school looks as if she dey front too much. This bobo was a cultist in one of all this top cult groups in the university.
This guy asked this fine girl out, but she refused to go out on a date with him. This guy was fuming in anger as she was the first girl he asked out that refused his offer. He believed that she doesn’t have the right to turn him down.
The next day this guy tried approaching the girl again maybe what happened yesterday was just a joke of her turning him down. As he walked up to her to talk to her she walked out on him, he drew her back in anger and slapped her on the cheek, this girl never spoke a word after the slap, she just used her handkerchief to whip her face and left the scene. The guy left thinking he had achieved an aim.
The next morning this chick traced this guy that slapped him to his cult group ,she went directly to there chairman{chiefoo}. Though she was never a cult girl neither does she even have an influence. She met the chairman of the cult, she knelt down before him, she explained what has transpired between her and one of his boys. She told him that she is not a cultist but the only thing she want is a “trade”, that is he the chairman can use her, do whatever she wants to do with her {sex}for 2 weeks but he should deal with his boy in his own coin. Chairman agreed, told her to come to his room the next morning as the 2 weeks starts that morning. Who will resist such an offer from a gorgeous lady with endowed legs like her. But to me this girl get mind..oooo,she no fear and she really wants to deal with this guy, she doesn’t want to use an outsider but rather people closer to him. BACK TO THE STORY.
The first day chairman was already enjoying himself with this fine lady, he had already sent anonymous 3 young guys that this guy had never seen or had any connection with to deal with him. They started the first day with a cain{koboko} to flog some hell out of him in his room .The second and third day was a chain, each 15 strokes .The next day this bobo {boy} reported himself to chairman, he told him he was attacks from some maybe anonymous cult groups, the chairman could even confirm the story because he had some severe and several bruises in his body parts. The chairman told him to go home that he will work on it, he will send protective to protect him from further attacks.
They gave him a little break to recover just a little from the other attack,. They descended on him on the twelfth day ,he was coming back to campus from a departmental meeting, they chased him with a car into a nearby bush and they descended heavily on him, they beat him hell even nearly to coma. After beating him they took him to the hospital by themselves and left him there.


3days later in the hospital the chairfooo himself came and explained what had been happening to him. In his mind he felt nobody can be trusted, even an outsider can even have an influence on his own boss over him.
