Before Stripping Me Of My Captaincy -
Enyeama
Enyeama just shared a hurtful message on what
transpired between him and Sunday Oliseh,
yesterday at the eagles camp in Belgium,
according to his instagram:
Quote
After 13years of national service, having this
smiles on my face and this passion in my
heart.through the billows, the waves of the
ocean, the tears of defeat, the sound of
rejoicing from victory chants.now the thought
of being stripped naked and security agents
throwing me out breaks me completely.i will
take anything but not insult to my dead
mother..

The Vatican, on Saturday, fired a senior priest,
Krzysztof Charamsa, who publicly came out as
gay on the eve of a major meeting of church
leaders to discuss the Church’s stance on social
issues such as divorce and homosexuality.
A statement by a spokesman for Pope Francis
described the Polish priest’s action as “very
serious and irresponsible,” adding that he would
be immediately sacked from his post as a
theologian in the Vatican.
The statement read, “The decision to make such
a pointed statement on the eve of the opening of
the synod appears very serious and irresponsible,
since it aims to subject the synod assembly to
undue media pressure.”
Charamsa, who is a mid-level official in the
Vatican bureaucracy’s dealing with church
doctrine, flanked by his Spanish boyfriend while
donning his priest’s collar, on Saturday, had
earlier told a news conference in Rome that he
was compelled to speak out against the
“hypocrisy and paranoia” that he said had shaped
the Church’s attitude to sexual minorities.
The 43-year-old priest said, “I’m out of the
closet, and I’m very happy about that. I want to
be an advocate for all sexual minorities and their
families who have suffered in silence.”
He presented a 10-point “liberation manifesto”
against “institutionalised homophobia in the
Church,” which he said particularly oppressed
the gay men who, according to him, make up the
majority of priests.
He also revealed plans for a book about his 12
years at the heart of a Vatican bureaucracy, only
just recovering from a scandal under previous
Pope Benedict XVI over the influence of a “gay
lobby” among senior clergy. |
Pastor Ends 15 Year-Old Marriage Over
Beatings From Wife
A Customary Court sitting in Akure, the Ondo
State capital has separated the 15 year old
marriage of one Pastor Tunde Adekunle and his
wife, Mrs. Agbeke Adekunle, over allegation of
public assault on the pastor by his wife.
Pastor Adekunle, who is the founder of the
Christ Living Church in Owo, explained that his
wife had turned him into a laughing stock at
public places including his church, saying that
his wife was fond of making jest of him.
Adekunle who told the court that his wife was a
troublesome person, said the woman was fond of
beating him over any slight domestic issue both
at home and in the church.
He showed some scars on his body to the court
to prove his allegation, saying all the scars on
his body were caused by the frequent fisticuffs
between him and his wife.
The 50 year old pastor and father of four told the
court that “there was no more affection existing
in our marriage and home again, therefore; I
want this court to separate us for me to enjoy
peace in life.”
He added that his wife was a disgrace to his pas
toral calling and ministry, recalling that his wife
once tore his cloth into shreds in the presence
of his congregation during a church service.
However, the respondent denied the allegations
but agreed to part with the plaintiff for peace to
reign.
The President of the court, Mrs. Olayinka Falo
dun who dissolved the 15 year old marriage, said
the evidences presented before the court by the
two parties indicated that there was no more
affection existing in the union.

British Government Is Working On Extraditing
Diepreye Alamieyeseigha Back To The UK For trial
British Government Is Working On
Extraditing Diepreye Alamieyeseigha Back
To The UK For Trial
The plea is guilty or not guilty. You are a real
witch if you are guilty and should be hunted.
There are strong indications that Diepreye
Alamieyeseigha, a former Governor of Bayelsa,
might be extradited to the United Kingdom,
despite being pardoned by former President
Goodluck Jonathan.
This hint was given by The Chairman,
Presidential Advisory Committee on Corruption,
Prof. Itse Sagay, who said "there is a pact
between Britain and Nigeria which obliges us to
extradite offenders who they are looking for."
According to Punch Newspapers, Sagay also
said “Alamieyeseigha allegedly committed a
separate crime by laundering money in Britain
and that is not a crime in Nigeria but a crime
against British Criminal Law and so, Goodluck
Jonathan cannot pardon him for that.”
Adding that “This is the new defence for criminal
prosecution which is being drummed up in
Nigeria. It does not exist in law. Witch-hunt has
never been a defence in court. The plea is guilty
or not guilty. You are a real witch if you are
guilty and should be hunted.” |
