If you've wanted to get your hands on a Surface Laptop but couldn't stomach their high price tags, Microsoft may have a solution for you. As reported by Windows Central, the tech giant is now selling a stripped down version of the laptop with an Intel Core m3 processor inside.

Coming in at $799, the latest Surface Laptop is $200 cheaper than Microsoft's previous "budget" $999 laptop model. In addition to containing a weaker processor, the new Surface Laptop will also house less RAM and storage -- 4GB and 128GB, respectively -- than the top-of-the-line Intel i7-powered variant. However, these numbers mirror what you can get with the $999 i5-powered model.

Microsoft said the beta apps for the next version of Office will arrive in the second quarter of this year, with the final version due in the second half of 2018. But when they do launch, PC owners who want the latest standalone Office apps, rather than the subscription-based Office 365, need either Windows 10 or the next Long-Term Servicing version of Windows Server.

The news is unlikely to be welcomed by the large number of businesses around the world who, for reasons such as cost and compatibility issues, still haven’t upgraded to Windows 10.

General Tricks
Bring back a closed tab We have dedicated a section to web browsing further down below, but this one is too useful to be missed. Accidentally closed a tab? Simply press Ctrl + Shift + T to reopen the most recently closed tab and get back to what you were doing (Cmd + Shift + T on Macs).

Window snapping and multiple monitor control Pressing the Windows Key + Arrow Keys will cause a window to quickly snap to each side of either monitor. Alternatively, hitting Shift + Windows Key + Arrows will cause the window to jump to the other monitor. While pressing Windows + P will allow you to quickly set up a second display or projector.

As mentioned before, in macOS we favor leveraging the power of Mission Control to handle virtual desktops, switching between apps, and peaking at your desktop beautifully. Though Macs don't support window snapping out of the box, a $0.99 app called Magnet comes highly recommended.

After being part of the same company for 12 years, eBay and PayPal split into two separate, publicly traded entities in 2015. But the pair signed a five-year operating agreement to keep a close relationship through to mid-2020. Now, eBay has announced it is moving away from the payment service.

eBay said it had signed an agreement that will see Adyen become its primary payments processing partner. The Amsterdam-based company, which offers back-end payment services to businesses, counts Netflix, Spotify, and Uber among its customers.

Adyen will offer an integrated payments solution within eBay itself, meaning you won’t have to log into a separate website for transactions. This should make paying on eBay a smoother experience and bring it in line with other retailers such as Amazon. The good news for most users is that the move will result in reduced payment processing charges, which can eat into sellers’ profits.

Despite charging less, eBay is expected to add $2 billion of revenue to its business once it starts taking the processing fees, according to Recode.

The new eBay payments system will arrive “on a small scale” in North America starting the second half of this year, before expanding in 2019 and each following year until 2021, when eBay expects the majority of customers to have transitioned. The company has negotiated new terms with PayPal that will see it remain as a payments option until July 2023, though it won’t feature as prominently.

Ayden brought in net revenue of $178 million in 2016, compared to PayPal’s near $11 billion. It’s thought that eBay might take an equity stake in its new payments partner, which is heading for an IPO this year.

Don’t interrupt in discussions:
