PGEJ DID IT BUTHEY CAN'T................
On June 28 2007, Vice President Goodluck Jonathan
placed his life on the line, by travelling to Okerenko,
visiting the notorious Camp five, where he held a seven
hours meeting with all the leaders of the militant camps in
the Niger Delta. He made the trip without a single security
detail.
The whole world stood still.
For seven hours he was incommunicado.
Global leaders feared the worst. He emerged from the
creeks later, shaken but resolute.
He came out of those creeks with a commitment from the
militants and the Niger Delta disarmament program was
borne.
Normalcy returned in the region.
The bloodletting ceased.
Oil production tripled and the government could breath
again.
In 2012,that exactly what arewa consultative forum could
not do, that exactly what the sultan could not do even
when the leadership of Jama’atul Ahlis Sunnah Lidda’awati
Wal Jihad aka Boko Haram named General Buhari as the
number one mediator they will listen to for peace to reign
in the north east. The spokesman of the group, Abu
Mohammed Ibn Abdulazeez, who doubles as the Second-
in-Command (Amir) to their leader, Imam Abubakar
Shekau, made the group’s intention known in a tele-
conference with journalists in Maiduguri. General Buhari
declined the offer. If Buhari truly loves this country, he
would have taken that offer. But NO. That would have
been a victory for the Jonathan government . So he
declined the offer, rather promising to end the insurgency
when he becomes President.
Does this man deserve our vote? I don't think so.
If we have to elect you as President before you assist the
government in quelling an insurrection in your region,
who will help us quell the crises if it erupts in other region.
Be wise. Stick with facts. A vote for Buhari is a cowering to
the dictates of terror. A vote for Buhari is a submission to
hand over your mandate by the dictates of guns and
blood.
Vote President Jonathan . We will surely win the war
against terror and secure our future.
God bless Nigeria.

I DARE YOU TO MAKE A MEANINGFUL CONTRIBUTION. THE PROPAGANDA AND LIES OF THE OPPOSITION
.
Bemigho Reno Omokri is the Special Assistant to President
Goodluck
Jonathan on New Media.
In this interview with ABIODU
On President Jonathan and his achievements
President Goodluck Jonathan is the best president Nigeria
has ever had and I am backing this with facts. I am not
moved by opinion, I am moved by facts.
Let me corroborate my stand with five facts.
Number one, according to the United Nations record,
Nigeria life expectancy was 47.5 years in 2009, a year
before President Jonathan took over. As at today,
according to the same United Nations Human
Development Index, which is released annually, Nigeria
average life expectancy is now 52 years. Since record has
been kept, this is the largest life expectancy in Nigeria.
When President Jonathan took over power, the World
Bank listed Nigeria as a low income country, but, today,
Nigeria is a middle income nation.
In 2010, Nigeria was the second largest economy in Africa
but it is the largest economy in Africa today.
Also, according to the International Food Policy Research
Institute which undertakes research on global hunger
index annually, Nigeria is improving. Prior to President
Jonathan assuming office, the country has been sliding on
the global hunger index but since he took over Nigeria has
been improving. In 2005, our index was 16.1 but in 2013
it reduced to 15 and this year it is 14.1.
Jonathan On the final score, President Jonathan, during his
declaration speech, said he is proud there is no political
prisoner in Nigeria; as a matter of fact, Nigeria has become
so free under President Jonathan that those in exile were
able to return home. Some chose to attack him, others
chose to support him but the obvious thing is that there is
no consequence because we have a God- fearing and
philosopher king as president.
They asked of Insecurity
The issue with insecurity can best be answered by the
military. But I will say that never in the world has a
conventional army been used to destroy terrorists. Nigeria
has had high success in peace-keeping all over the world
because we have been meeting with conventional war.
Terrorism is a new threat and we have to develop special
forces to deal with this threat and, to the best of my
knowledge, that is going on at a very advanced stage and,
very soon, we will see the effect of that. I am very
confident that in no distant time, Nigeria will overcome
the Boko Haram insurgency. Our soldiers are already being
trained in special operations so we will, in the near future,
bid farewell to insecurity occasioned by Boko Haram in the
country.
They asked of Impact of largest economy on the citizens
It is an opinion to say that the transformation of the
economy is not impacting on the lives of Nigerians. There
are seven billion opinions on earth and if you are going to
live by that, you will be an unstable person. Facts support
the notion that the economic progression Nigeria has
made under President Jonathan is trickling down to the
citizens.
For the first time in the history of this country, we have 14
million farmers registered with the ministry of agriculture.
They received fertilizers and seeds directly from the
ministry. Of the 14 million, two million are women. It has
never been done anywhere in the world; other nations like
South Africa and India are coming to learn how we did it.
Now we are talking of 14 million farmers which is clear
evidence that Nigerians are benefiting from the economic
progress made under President Goodluck Jonathan.
The per capital income of Nigeria, which was 1090 dollars
in 2009, is 1800 dollars today. Today, you can take a train
from Ido terminus in Lagos and be in Kano at the cost of
N2,250. You can charge your laptop on that train. You can
move within Lagos with air-conditioned fast trains. These
are facts but obviously, the opposition will not want to
paint the president in his true colour because they are
desperate for power.
President Jonathan has ensured that every state that did
not have a university now has one, he has ensured that
almajiris who did not have school before now have 150
schools of which he planned to build 400. This is a man
who has impacted on the lives of the everyday average
Nigerians.
In the rural areas, there is a conditional grant given to
women that attend post-natal care in health centres.
Over 80, 000 graduates have been able to find internship
through the Graduate Internship Scheme. 4, 000 Nigerian
youths have been given grant of between two million and
ten million naira to start up businesses which have
empowered and employed tens of thousands of people
through the YOUWIN (Youth with Innovation Nigeria)
scheme. These are brilliant initiatives that have never be
done before to impact the lives of Nigerians.
Sadly, some people with no record to show will speak
negative of the president. For 34 years, the Lagos-Ibadan
Expressway has been left dormant but today, it is
witnessing one of the fastest constructions on earth- Julius
Berger starting from the Lagos side and RCC starting from
the Ibadan side which will ensure they meet at a point to
complete the work on time. Where has that been done
before in Nigeria?
It used to take nine hours to travel from Lagos to Benin
but President Jonathan ensured that the Benin- Ore Road
was reconstructed not repaired. Today, that same journey
takes three hours and the Coordinating Minister of the
Economy, Prof. Okonjo Iweala, took that journey herself
to verify it. So President Jonathan is impacting on the lives
of everyday Nigerians.
They asked Corruption and the president’s body language
Let us look at facts and not opinion. In this country, one of
the greatest avenues of corruption is the procurement of
fertilizer for farmers but today, the Jonathan
administration has addressed that and ensured that
farmers get fertilizer directly from the source. There is no
middleman, thus the country is able to save over two
billion dollars annually which was in the past frittered
away.
Over 50, 000 ghost workers have been weeded out of the
civil service, the FG is saving over three hundred and fifty
billion naira annually by that singular act. These 50, 000
have been there over the years.
This administration is not interested in show trial where
you arrest people, do a trial with the media having
sensational stories but in fairness, how many people that
went through this show trial are in jail?
You fight corruption at the root and weed it out.
I can state categorically that there is no anti-corruption
president like Jonathan but being a philosopher king, he
will not dance to the gallery;
he will fight corruption accordingly.
The opposition has saturated the media with negative
information.
Can the opposition doubt this facts? only a fool that doubt
proves.....
We must be informed and well educated on what Our
Dear PGEL is doing.
Don't be deceive by their lies and propaganda.......

I read online the question a lady asked. The question
is
how can Buhari who earns over 300million naira
yearly
claim that he can not afford to pay 27million naira for
the
APC presidential form. I became interested and
decided to
investigate. I went to the ministry of Finance where I
discovered that it is true that all former Presidents
and
Head of states actually get 23million naira monthly.
But I
found out that General Buhari actually wrote the
minister
of Finance to reject the 23million monthly pay. He
said in
his letter that he will only accept 10percent or that
amount which is 2.3million and that is what he has
been
taking. This is just to clear the air. What a Nigerian!

Why won't the people be glamouring for a change? Jonathan has been tested & tried, but unfortunately he failed. The failure wasn't even something we can manage.., he failed woefully. People were disappointed, people's hopes were shattered. People were scammed with all sort of lies, especially from the minister of finance. Nigerian waited for their Messiah to say something.., but instead, he started intimidating public servants, using power to scare them. I wonder what the likes of Sanusi, Tambuwal, Obasanjo and others will feel about him. This is a President that will always claimed that he is on top of things, whereas, he is at the bottom of things with his cluelessness. Anyway, many people are wise up now. The rate at which unconfirmed and unsubstantiated news are hitting the front page these days are quite alarming! In Seun's bid to satisfy the hay pee cee bed fellows, the credibility of NL is going to the 'dogs'. While I personally understand the need for fairness and equality, having it at the expense of confusion, and promoting propganda is unacceptable! It is not by force to have opposition news on the front page especially when they have nothing to offer.

This morning it was human rights takes GEJ to court for abuses. This topic was later chainged to NGO's rather than human rights as earlier speedily put up on the front page.
Seun and the mods be guided! Maintain professionalism, don't be pressured into promoting hay pee cee's propaganda agenda just to save face or appear neutral.
Most news from these fellows (hay pee cee) are from unknown blogs and cooked up websites. Do your best to feed Nigerians the true and accurate news especially on the front page. Thanks!

Have being reading all comments and it's still
mostly same set of Nigerians (South East and
South South) that are supporting Jonathan. The
Presidency has finally succeeded in polarizing the
country into ethnic and religion group just for
political gain. But i have a few questions for you people from these region. Where were you
people when Jonathan was a Vice President and
Pastor Tunde Bakare and Professor Wole Soyinka
led Save Nigeria Group (SNG) to the street of
Abuja in 2009 and protested against the
Maladministration of the few cabal during Umaru Yar'dua Illness before his eventual death. You
people where in total silence when the few cabal
refused to recognize the then Vice President as
Acting President despite the inability of the then
President Yara'dua to perform his constitutional
duty. What Benefit are most of you actually deriving from this present government under
Jonathan apart from the fact that he appointed
less than 1% of your tribal people into political
office and how has that appointment improve
your welfare individually. Why can't you people
reason that Jonathan government is just for few wealthy individual and NOT for the masses like
most of you commenting and supporting him.
Some of you are here comparing Jonathan and
Obasanjo. You are here comparing Failure against
Failure when we should be comparing ourselves
with the outside develop western world. So because your child score 30% and another child
score 25% now mean you should pat your child
at back and say "weldone". Failure is Failure and it
has no other name. Obasanjo failed Nigerian and
that was why he was voted out even in his
polling unit in Abeokuta. His daughter lost her election scandalously. Why are you people now
commenting as if it was only your vote that made
Jonathan became president in 2011. YORUBA
voted massively for Jonathan in 2011 thinking he
was the messiah to salvage our dear country
from the clumps of corrupt individual and he won with a landslide victory. We voted for Jonathan
and NOT PDP because he promised Nigerian
heaven and Earth. Hausa voted for Jonathan
because they felt he will better their life. But what
are we experiencing today. Death has become so
cheap in our country that we now Count numbers. Children are slaughtered like chicken
everyday and millions have been rendered
homeless. Why is Jonathan Commander-in-Chief
of the armed forces but will be blaming some
people for his inability to protect his subject.
Corruption is obviously on the high side in the country and the President is Celebrating Corrupt
individual giving them "National Award" to the
glaring eye of the whole world. Jonathan has
failed in his primary assignment as president and
he must vacate the seat in 2015 by the special
grace of God. The Truth must be told. Nigeria Political and economy problem is too big for
Jonathan and has overwhelmed him. He is NOT
competent and Fit to be the president of our
nation. We need a President that love the citizen
of this country so much and is so passionate to
serve the citizens. We need a President that is ready to sacrifice a lot for the betterment of the
masses. Am hoping and praying for that time
when all Nigerian will NEVER mind if the
President, Vice President, Senate President,
Speaker and Chief Judge of the Federation are all
from ONE Geo-political Region and One Religion BUT WILL ONLY be AFTER Good Governance and
Sound Welfare package for all citizens. God bless
my Country Nigeria

I don't use words out of context YES mr. GEJ is beast! Mainly literary, a dangerous or strange one. He had done a lot to deserve even more than calling him a beast. He never told me while campaigning dat he would hike the price of petroleum, I voted him in and he did. He promised employment, non till now even as we agreed to believed him when himself and his cabinet members knew we've lost interest in them. What is the impact of the subsidy reinvention program on unemployeed youth in Nigeria? Division of my country men and women on religion, ethnic and tribal basis thereby resulting in hatred nd soul massacre. Today, igbo and ijaws are threatening us "we must reelect Jonathan else, there would be problem" the northerners are also saying that if MGB loose there is going to be war! Who caused this if not d most dangerous GEJ! a power thirst element that used his disloyalty and unfaithful political jimicks to create problems within their party wigs PDP. The fact that I described OBJ as a tyranny does not mean GEJ can not learn from him afterall, we all goes to school to learn from both good and bad teachers at the same time, played and keep friendship with people of good and bad xters yet it doesn't make us a bad person. If only your GEJ is clever and smart enough, he should have gathered enough from OBJ atleast to save him from been clueless, incompetent and been ridiculed nationally. His speech and visit to Awo versity was another political error as other Yoruba elders and leaders would see it as relegation and neglection of their relevancy.
HE SHOULD PUT FOOD ON YOUR TABLE TOO
