I wld hv loved to be the 1st to comment so I can warn u (my christian brothers) that this thread does not belong to us, so we should just read and pass by or at most shout 'HALLELUYAH, THANK U JESUS' and then walk by. When u see a thread that is designed by d seemingly wise men of this world, we shld understand that they have an agenda; they are not after their selves but after u the christian, to get u debating. But u shld understand that these ppl dont seek d LIGHT, they are here to scorn our Father. And rmbr we dnt wrestle against flesh and blood, d folks we deal with are principalities. FOR U TO FIX THE 'WORLD'.... Is Obama the Ruler of the world? If u say he is then u may be rit in concluding that GEJ's speech was literal and then also u have no reason to blame him cos he was indeed (according to u) talking with the leader of d world. But if Obama is not d leader of world (which I believe he is not) why then do u tink Joe was referring to him because of d use of 'you'. Na wa for all of una o. In a forum wher d world will be listening to u as a leader of a nation dat is obviously struggling, u shld admit u need help. Help to combat terrorism, help for the multi-billion dollar corportions all over d world to come to ur home and invest so dat there will be jobs 4 d unemployed, etc. How can I bring myself to d unreasonable point of not seeing d correct meaning of a simple statement because I dislike a man. Mayb if it wer to b u, u might say 'demn, to hell wid yo'all church folks, my life is mine, etc'. Bt a truely sanctified christian doesnt see it dat way. because we undastnd dt we are 'soldiers' of Christ who hav vowd to follow Him like sheeps 4ever, and dat because of our human fleshly weaknesses, we (not God now) hav to set standards 4 ourselves as a community to help us keep flesh in check, as in, it is beta 4 d body to suffer humilation but finally mak heaven. MIND U, a true xtian sees it dt he is being correctd in love, not hate or spite. What exactly did he advise as solution to something he identified as a problem.LOL at 'immaculate concecption', I dont think God is sending a 2nd Jesus Saviour of d world, so it def. wont b immaculate. However b4 we condemn pastors on such issues, we might want to have deeper insight into hw d church system was designed to operate(doesn't make us look wise to judge on issues we look frm a distance). From d little I hav discoverd frm most churches. Such actions are meant to 4ever stick out d sanctity of marriage and deter brethren frm indulging (u knw d flesh is very stubborn lol). However, to d best of my knowledge, d church still go out to 'bless d marriage' ie d pastor quietly blesses d couple, but not in d colourful and honourable platform of a wedding. So I think dat might b d case here. But u knw sometimes wen earring d view of d one who is offended, u might tink they must have been terribly maltreated, till u hear frm d other party. |

Dont mean to embarass u if u dont believe in God, but as someone who does, I see d death of a loved one as an opportunity given to us by d grace of God to reflect and understand that ours is a continuosly falling world that is heading for a crash, and that a new life and realm that doesn't make use of d coat of flesh has been prepare for those who love God and walk according to His purpose. Follow His instructions like a tourist in a zoo will lean on d guide of the zoo keeper to remain safe. If u believe in God and d Holy Spirit, then u already knw u are in a faith walk, so talk with Him daily in prayer (actually like u are talking wit ur closest friend and read d scriptures too cos some times He might want to communicate to u frm sometin already in d bible. Always put Him in d picture when u are confused. Be consistent with Him and u will enjoy d rshp. He is d only one that can convict u when u are derailing and u will knw wen He those. In d same vain He's d only one who can assure u that u are heaven bound. Take it from me God is real, not cos one pastor says so, cos I have experiences that are proofs. |

There is no time in the spirit realm (so like the bible will say, a 1000yrs in our world wld b lik jst a day in God's eyes). So I think my ppl who have died many yrs ago will think they jst blinked their eyes in a sleep wen God's judgement day comes, jst lik u sleep for abt 5 - 7hrs and wen u wake it looks like u jst close ur eyes and opend it. Dat's cos u loosed consiousness wen u sleep. So I dont think one can ever fully fathom spiritual things using human understanding. Even apostle Paul said "we know in part" and those things we know are the things that please God to reveal in us mostly thru scriptures but also thru revelations. 1 Like |

Nahhh. I am in showbiz and I 'form' American accent wella. Now there is nothing like Nigerian accent in English. Do u suppose I use Yoruba accent to speak english or I shld use Igbo accent to speak the whiteman's language  Nahh folks. It belongs to the Britons and the Americans so the list we can do is try to speak it like them. Also, I feel good when I speak with an American accent, u may think of it as inferiority complex, but actually my naturally intimidating personality heightened when I am using my fake accent among folks. They naturally think I am better than them. It started like a joke, but it's now a part of me. My boss is Ibo, but when he speaks Yoruba with the actual Yoruba accent it's so beautiful on him. Finally, imagine a none native speaking your language with d accent of their mother tongue, rmbr u use to laugh at such ppl. And now u think we accent folks are funny. deeptesting: My friend I have been to a church wouldn't want to mention name,I was invited by a friend who knew me very well as an Atheist, I honored his invitation and did you know when all that stuff you mentioned didn't work on me the officiating pastor and another pastor from Ghana termed me a witch...Come and see prayers that almost brought the roof of the building down,that was my greatest fear before they will term the fall of the roof on our heads as "spiritual stuff" like you mentioned.. It is so funny how you guys fall for all these craps.Lolz bros na so o. Fake many 4 dis world. As a mata of fact, wherevr ther is original, their is fake, and besides, there are diff levels of grace to do such tins in christiandom sha, so d pst might not b a fake still. Nigerian movie: did Abraham Moses Isaac Jacob Lazarus believe in Jesus? How come they're in heaven??. After Adam's sin and fall from grace, his generation starting from Cain began to digress from their rshp with GOD and b4 Abrahams generation their wer already hundreds of gods wh men served, such dat d new generation no more knew of d true God their fore father Adam served. So Abraham was d 1st man after d digression dat God revealled HIMSELf to because Abraham did not worship his fathers image gods but did riteously deeds by following his conscience. No bros, not all our ancestors will burn in hell. But some will, ie, those who did not follow gud conscience to live rit. But thos who were led by conscience to live riteous will go to heaven(read Rom ch 2 vs 12 -16 for details). And gud thin u brought up d issue of 'ancestors'. D pope is wrong because his assertion is only true 4 our ancestors and all who did not ever add a knowledge of d true GOD (ie d one Abraham d Jew served). But in Acts 17 vs 30 wen d Athenians wer serving d unknown god, Apostl Paul told them 'bout GOD and revealed to dem dat God wil judge men by conscience in d days of 'ignorance of d true GOD', but now dat dey, u and I hav heard of HIM and His Son Jesus, u must believe in HIM and also follow conscience to do rit (cos He is d one in dat conscience prompting u to do rit) else u are Hell bound (no offence). 1 Like |
