Counting my blessings one step at a time, as I go on this journey.
I have been waiting, wondering and hoping that the ongoing strike should be resolved, so that the further verification requested by WES from Uniport can be treated. I have even thought of cancelling the BSc part, as the MSc had been accepted recently. The former has been pending for over 6 months.
Last night, I received a mail from WES, stating "This is to advise you that we have received all required documents. We will now begin to prepare your evaluation report."
I logged in on my WES account, and it's same as the email received.
I called on my twin immediately to know if the strike has been called off, or probably they treated it. He says the strike is still on, and he has not even submitted the bank teller for the extra charges Uniport requested for, so that they can treat the request.
Well, I am amazed and I chose to share this, to encourage everyone. It might not be epic as receiving PPR mail, but it's one step achieved in my plans.
In between, I'm still wondering how it happened. What caused them to change and decide to move on with my evaluation?

Do you bank with Access Bank? What is it with you and access, abi you're writing it as you're pronouncing it? Yoruba brethren? grin

Someone with MPA should know it's "assess". To answer you, read page 0 very well. Click the links on there to understand what you're doing. Assess only your MPA. That is your highest degree.

I was about asking a similar question. I've had my ECA on hold because of the strike in Uniport. They are yet to respond to the verification from WES. I was going to ask about the cancellation of my BSc, if it will affect my points?

My other school have sent theirs and it's accepted.
I guess this answers my question. Thank you

What I mean is, when the audio is playing and saying the descriptions that are not THE EXACT words in your question booklet, write down what the audio is saying in your question booklet.
When you get the 10 mins to transfer your answers to your answer sheet, look at what you wrote down and MATCH it with the words or sentences given. E.g. The audio could say:

"The children find the class quite dull" - write this down quickly and move on to the next question.

Later when you return to transfer your answers, the question/options to choose from the section could look like this:

"Kids find it boring" - this is the answer you will choose.

Does this make sense?
This makes much sense. I swear I should have done some transcribing whilst listening to the audio, especially the last part. I am sure i will just so, during my next IELTS.

Good day House

I can't seem to find an appropriate NOC for this job, can someone please help. Or if you have worked as a demand planner before what NOC did you choose. I have searched the internet nothing concrete.

Job- Demand Planner

Basic Functions:
Develop demand forecasts (operational forecasts) at multiple levels of aggregation for multiple time horizons as part of a demand planning function.
Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results.
Coordinate cross-functional research activities to reconcile significant variances and refine the forecast model to reflect updated sales and marketing assumptions.
Interact with sales, marketing, and customer finance to understand demand forecast drivers.
Utilize a collaborative and consensus approach by working with Sales, Marketing and Customer Finance to obtain and ensure that current and accurate information is used for demand forecasts.
Use and maintain the Demand Planning software as the primary forecasting system tool.
Provide input to the Supply Planning organization in developing inventory strategies on existing items, new products, and product phase-outs.
Closely coordinate and communicate customer action plans with supply planning

Job Functions:
Create statistical forecasts:
- Gather, analyze and validate data
- Execute statistical modeling software
- Review resulting statistical forecast model
- Apply error analysis techniques to improve forecasting
- Summarize/aggregate statistical forecasts
Your NOC should hover around purchasing and supply chain. You can look for NOC in these Management areas. Also, you may search with main key words, and something might come up. For example, check the NOC 4163 or 1524.

I have considered that option, but I have spent too much money on the process to let it to go waste. I paid more than 70k for it. I know uniport is expensive but I suspect the person helping me, may have added jara.

But the main reason I am holding on is because I plan to go for further studies, so I want WES to have my transcript so that if I need it later, I'll just do an upgrade.

Thanks for the suggestion though, I really appreciate it.
I am on the same boat with you. Still waiting for UNIPORT to confirm verification. Serious stress...

You'll need to submit it but indicate that it was not evaluated. You get?

Okay, thanks for the clarification. I am truly grateful.

Yea sure. It's not compulsory to evaluate both, just your msc would give you maximum points.

My spouse canceled Bsc with WES along the line cos uniport was wasting time to verify and went ahead with just Msc.
If you're an engineer tho I'll advice you to evaluate both as you'll need it for licensing.

Thank you for that tip. S0, during ITA submission, I don't need to submit the BSc details as well? Mine is Business Management related.

Practice your IELTS and you will get better scores next time. PNP is a very long and expensive route.

Hmmm. Okay, I will. Boss, I paid 230 euros o. I wish I were paying 68k like in Naija now. Its not beans, at all.

congrats on ur ielts result

Is it possible to cancel the BSc and still retain your points, if you have MSc? or do they go hand in hand? Please kindly run that through again?

Then by all means, you should write TEF.
Hi, i think my French is not that good enough to attempt the exam.

I have a suggestion Can you try to also write TEF? Check what your score will be if you have listening as 8 and reading as 7.5. You may not need PNP. Just practice the IELTs. Where did you write the exam?

Nantes, France

Did I see speaking as 9? shocked. Abeg, wetin you speak for there?

Don't be discouraged. Take heart from bigfido s story. I think someone posted a few days ago that SINP had opened.

Yes, speaking is 9. That's why I am surprised at the writing as well. I am not doubting the Listening. Living a French speaking country has dulled my English, to be honest.

please share the NOC in demand list link for SINP. I just saw mine and I'm pissed to say the least. Seriously contemplating a remark. My LRW scores are very perplexing.

Overall Band: 8.0
Listening: 8.0
Reading: 7.5
Writing: 7.5
Speaking: 8.0

My CRS is 413. cry

Google SINP In demand occupation list. It comes up.

Your listening score is low. Recalculate with the assumption that you scored 8 in the listening module and see the magic. smiley

Honestly, the thought of resitting that exam, just for the listening is uncomfortable. I will see what options are available?
Thanks for your response.

You're nervous and prolly calculating it wrong, just relax. If u have at least 8777 in LRSW, ur score shd be 458.

Here is my IELTS score.
L - 6.5, R - 8, W - 7, S - 9. Overall 7.5

What do you think?

Likewise me, been busy in office, wish i can take 3weeks break. Preparing for IELTS. Back to your question, since your ECA is not ready, you can not apply for SINP EE because it requires your EE no. So, I suggest you fasten your ECA so that can 'jump into' the pool.

Your age, degree and experience should give above 430. Recheck you CRS

Thank you. I will recalculate it again. I have been on the neck of the school. I will create the profile once I'm done with the ECA.

I hope you applied for SINP yesterday?

Thanks for the prompt response. The thing is I have no clue how to go about it. My ielts just came out this morning. While I doubt some of the score, I am not in the mood to contest or rewrite.

I am currently waiting for Uniport to send a verification to wes, and also waiting for my school in France to send my degree and transcript for MSC. Lots of waiting. At this point, I am confused.

I had calculated 445 for my CRS. I don't know why I am seeing 400.
I am 31, MSc Food and Agribusiness Management. Single. NOC 1122 (Professional occupation in business management consulting). 3yrs experience.

Tensions are high. Trying to concentrate at work now.

I calculated my CRS - 400. I have NOC in demand for SINP. Please, I need some advice from the gurus?

I quite agree with mouxman. It's only safe to defer admissions except of course you're to go in October.

Even if we get called this week, there's no way you'd make it for visa, TB test and all the preparations.

mouxman: hello great scholars, I spoke with one of the MDs assistants and he confirmed the list is ready, however approval for the release of names has not yet been given by the MD. He even asked if I could defer my admission...................Let's be real with ourselves and stop causing unneccesarry "hope".....the list will come out this year, but let's start looking at getting admission in January or possibly september next year.....Let's jus keep hoping....
