Nigerian christians should understand that most Jews do not like them, or indeed any other christian.

(And before anyone thinks I am ignoring the muzlems...the same problem exists on that side too. Even muslims of a different race or color don't like each other...that's a big part of why Sudan is having a civil war.).

There is the hundreds of years of discrimination, persecution and yes genocide of Jews in Europe by so called christians (Yes I can hear the protestants say they were not true christians, and yes, it was not all christians...but it was there)..culminating in the horrors of the Russian pogrom of the 1905 and then the Nazi persecutions among other things. (Ironically until the 20th century, in muzlem areas, jews got better tolerance. Not all the time though). That means many jews don't like christians. Period.

Orthodox Jews do not like christians because they are followers of christ...who gets a lot of bad press in the Talmud (I won't repeat some of the comments here , lol). And secular jews don't like christians because...secularism. Infact Jews converting to christianity can get a lot of trobule about it.

Yes, and I emphasize this...christians are treated better in Israel than in other middle eastern coutnties., but that's because the founding fathers of the modern nation of Israel founded the country on secular lines, which means no discrimination against anyone irrespective of religion or race or creed. Even then, it doesn't mean that christians get 'loved'..per se.

But being a christian in a nation of laws where you get decently treated because you are living in a nation of laws does not translate to automatic likes. At all.

Hence the Jew putting a cigar in the mouth of the statue. (Keep in mind that the guy could also be doing it to wind up Arab christians...who tend to support the Palestinain cause...anti-arab racisim is a whole nother problem in Israel)>

But right now, this thread just triggered a question on something that I have often thought about, and no reasonable answer comes to mind. So if you have any plausible explanation as to why Christians always associate themselves with Jews while Jews consistently distance themselves from Christians, i would really like to hear it.

Simple, both christians and muslims stole their religion corrupted and called it their own. So i uderstand why they should do that.

But only muslims wants them wiped off the face the earth! simply because their very existence put a lie to that Koran.

It blows my mind how Christians always try to force a sort of relationship or association with Jews and Israel. I just don't understand why. The Jews make no secret of their disgust towards Christianity. The things they say about Jesus and Mary, even someone like myself who is not religious find it repulsive to hear. I once heard a Jewish rabbi on YouTube say that, Jews would rather pray in a mosque than in a church because to them Christians are Polytheist, while Muslims are monotheistic.
Yet every day I hear Christians trying to claim some sort of reverence and connection to Jews, while the Jews don't seem to care.

When did Iran launch any attack the first 3 countries or are you talking about Israel? As for Israel they attacked Iran TWICE! Were you expecting them not to defend themselves? UAE and other gulf countries were hosting military bases where USA was launching all sorts missiles. The only way to curb their attack is by launching attacks at those military bases. How did Iran bully them? Ultimately Iran should have sat back and allow all sorts of bombs and missles in their country, and they will still be tagged terrorists o.
