United States was not proactive in this war,ordinarily, they should have known that Iran would always hold on to the strait of Hormuz, so all efforts should have been concentrated on securing the place.

But, make no mistake about it, it's in America and Israel's interest to keep the ceasefire, the strait of Hormuz now belongs to Iran.
