overall90: But this story has been on for a long time and he never debunked it. All I know is that he built one magnificent edifice then, I think the story is that he saw the prototype in US and decided the duplicate it and I am sure he is the one that bragged to the tabloids that his house cost 20m. It was even MKO Abiola that helped him complete the mansion, from what i read MKO gave him N500k then to complete the house. I have seen that same house several times, at Iju Ishaga, Its a nice mansion but that N20Mn bit was a lie. I remember when he was asked in an interview then, he kept saying Amen, that Nigerians were only praying for him and he was claiming it, he did not accept it but stylishly denied it. He later also sang in his 1992 album ...Experience.. that MC Hammer and Bobby Brown are musicians like him and they did nice things with their money, that he could not be an exception to that rule. |

Kemetian: This is the type of cultural influence nations go to war to have - pay billions of dollars to have.
CHINA and INDIA would be looking at this and thinking ''Damn! Wish we had this type of cultural permeation power in the USA." - and yet we have some absolute dunderheads here pushing for the ''break up of Nigeria'', to become little Togos and Sierra Leones - voiceless, inconsequential, zero influence, and easy to bully by foreign powers.
Nonsense.
If you want Nigeria to 'break up', move to another country and break up yourself there. Is Aso ebi From the North? What quantum of influence does the North contribute to the Nigerian identity abroad? Breaking up Nigeria Will definitely not diminish anything but violence and death. |

EponObi: Let's assume Iran develop warhead and they have bad delivery systems (like you said), which country is ready to have Iran nuclear nukes detonating over their airspace? Nuclear nukes is no just sometimes that if it fails to reach it's target will just drop over some random city, country, or ocean and that's it. Imagine nuclear warhead detonating inside the Mediterranean sea or the Strait of Hormoz.
So far they develop nukes, no matter the advancement of their tech, it's enough deterance.
US and Israel know this. It's why they are doing all they can to stop them. Iran won't just use as deterance self, they will use it to bully them too. Thats exactly why they will not be allowed to develop it, they may even destroy themselves with it. If Isreal detects that Iran has a nuclear weapon, it wont go to sleep it will be almost certain to whip out its samson option which may lead to the total destruction of the middle east. |
Politics › Re: To Those Who Say The World Should Unite To Fight The U.S. , Here Is The Deal. by huptin(m): 6:56am On Jan 20 |
EponObi: You get time to dey reply am.
Iran that is running to develop a warhead know what they are doing. If Iran develop only one, Israel and US will stop bullying them. If Iran develops it goes up in nuclear smoke. Isreal has 100 plus tested and trusted delivery system. Out of over 400 missiles jran sent to Isreal only 26 landed and detonated. 99% of Isreals missiles landed with fatal accuracies. Not just developing nuclear weapons, do you have the right delivery system? |

The recent up tick in Jihadism and terrorism is driving more people towards christianity since it is the only other organized religion they believe can defeat that islamism ideology.
Christianity also offers freedom comparing it with Islam, a lot of the young ones will surely choose Christianity.
Christianity dies slowly in times of comfort but thrives on adversity. |

There is something inherently disturbing about Islam. Something fundamentally wrong. Why can't they Co exist peacefully with any one!
Everywhere they go trouble, pain, sorrow. All the inventions and innovation ever done in the world, you won't hear their names.
But if it's negative you can swear and you won't be wrong.. They will be at the forefront.
God is not an author of confusion they can't be worshipping God. |

Goodmarlian: But iran missiles penetrate Israel defence imagine if those missiles carry nuclear or chemical warhead Israel for don clear by nos Isreal was in total control of Iranian skies for 12 good days. Iran fired 400 missiles only 26 landed in Isreal. Iran does not have Nuclear weapons, Isreal had over 100. The chance that if Iran somehow has Nuclear weapons it will land in Israel is just 1%. If Isreal decide to use just 10 of their nuclear weapons on Iran the chance that the 10 will land accurately is 100%. So be thinking. Isreal killed over 1000 highly placed Iranians including all their generals and scientists, only 23 Isreali died mostly the old and sickly. So when you talk apply logic! |
