Nairaland GeneralNew Trojan Horse In Town Know About It Before You Become The Next Victim by Huramabi(op): 6:34am On Jan 21, 2010
Trojan horses are designed to allow a Hacker remote access to a target computer system. Once a Trojan horse has been installed on a target computer system, it is possible for a hacker to access it remotely and perform various operations. The operations that a hacker can perform are limited by user privileges on the target computer system and the design of the Trojan horse.

Operations that could be performed by a hacker on a target computer system include:

* Use of the machine as part of a botnet (i.e. to perform spamming or to perform Distributed Denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks)
* Data theft (e.g. passwords, credit card information, etc.)
* Installation of software (including other malware)
* Downloading or uploading of files
* Modification or deletion of files
* Keystroke logging
* Viewing the user’s screen
* Wasting computer storage space

Nairaland GeneralGoogle Hackers Targeted Source Code Of More Than 30 Companies by Huramabi(op): 6:28am On Jan 21, 2010
A hack attack that targeted Google in December also hit 33 other companies, including financial institutions and defense contractors, and was aimed at stealing source code from the companies, say security researchers at iDefense.

The hackers used a zero-day vulnerability in Adobe Reader to deliver malware to many of the companies and were in some cases successful at siphoning the source code they sought, according to a statement distributed Tuesday by iDefense, a division of VeriSign. The attack was similar to one that targeted other companies last July, the company said.

A spokeswoman for iDefense wouldn’t name any of the other companies that were targeted in the recent attack, except Adobe. for full article click http://www.geria.net/?p=4
Nairaland GeneralNexus One’s Successor Is Already Being Groomed by Huramabi(op): 4:32pm On Jan 20, 2010
Landmark mobile devices such as Google’s Nexus One will always get a sequel; after all, this is the very first Google phone that the world has ever seen. It even comes with a high-speed Snapdragon processor and has some amazing voice-recognition features. So why is Google so keen on moving on to the next device at such an early stage?

The answer may be in the fact that the Nexus One is doing pretty badly in terms of sales. Honestly, if Google wanted it to succeed, they should just have stores retail and network operators subsidize their phones instead of isolating sales channels through the online store. <a href="http://www.geria.net/" target="_blank">click here for full article</a>

BusinessRe: ''robert Kiyosaki'' And The Road To 'forbes',how Possible? by Huramabi(m): 12:21pm On Dec 05, 2009
I am not sure if I am correct Forbes basically have list of world Billionaires. Some of these guys are Millionaires or decamillionaires. Which is a lot of money, from Forbes record Dangote is worth about 3.3Billion dollars actually he is worth much more than that. Is Adenuga on forbes list, is he wealthy? So it is not all wealthy people that are on Forbes list.
Bishop Oyedepo has 3 jets and his third is the latest Boeing own by very few people in the world. Forbes measures people's wealth by the value of their stock in their countries stock exchange, so if your company is not listed on the stock exchange there is no way forbes is going to know your worth. Robert kiyosak is mega rich, Pastor sam is mega rich.

How many F’s is there in the above statement? Read once, you’re probably going to count 3F’s. But there are 6F’s in the statement you must have omitted the F’s of “OF”.

This is caused by Scotoma which is defined as a sensory locking out of our environment based on prior conditioning and/ or expectation. Most of our beliefs that we base our decisions upon are assumptions and hear says most we never really verified yet we claim ownership.

The L.O.L.O. concept which is lock on lock out is when we develop a sentimental emotional attachment to those things we are exposed to first.

We can only consciously see one thing at a time.

BusinessSelf Confidence, A Must Learnt Skill In Life I by Huramabi(op): 7:42am On Nov 18, 2009
I noticed that naturally people without money sometimes lack self esteem. This is demonstrated in there inability to relate with people that has money. Some times what is called inferiority complex. I wonder how they intend to solve their money problem. I am not suggesting hero worshiping or idolatry. What I am saying is that we should be able to approach people we need leverage from. What we need to do is to find out what we are willing to offer in exchange for their help. Once we find out what can be offered we should be bold to approach them. for full article click the link below.

One of the attribute of problem solving is ability to express opinions openly and willingness to listen without having a prprepared answer. OBJ has replied to allegations against we should allow the rule of law to take its full course. None of us has the facts it is always easy to point fingers. it is not only OBJ problem it is a nigerian problem and you cannot change a bad system overnight. anybody found to be culprit should prosecuted. Anybody calls that calls another stupid or foolish is passing judgement and that is corruption. How can you call someone your father's age foolish is that how you talk to your parents at home which should respect others. At least with all your smartness you cannot know more than the former president about Nigeria should be run.

M.O Apatina is a road safety officer that arrested a bus I boarded very early on sunday morning on my way to church. It happened at about 7:45am along Oba Akran road, the officer asked the commercial bus driver for his driver's license the man displayed, vehicle license intact, all lights intact. but Mr Apatina could not believe it and he gave this guy ticket for seat belt violation, that the 2 passengers in front are not using seat belt. I pointed out to the officer more than ten commercial vehicles whose passengers are not using seat belt he told me do I expect him to arrest all of them. In anger he assaulted me physically and called us imbeciles.
My views even if the officers is right:
Is it not an error in law for a driver to be punished for the sin of the passengers he does not know. If I am a driver and my passenger refuse to use seat belt I suffer the consequence. when I dont have powers to enforce law. Ribadu style punishing cafe owners for fraud committed by cafe users.
Is it proper/lawful for law enforcement officers to seize drivers license of offenders without court order in order to force them to show up at their offices.
I think the likes of Apatina should not go unpunished,
