My People, wetin be d latest?, i hear say Oga Bosso don match, na true? |
After all has been said, finally, all has is done. The much-expected sack of embattled Flying Eagles coach, Ladan Bosso, may have finally come to pass with the disclosure that Super Eagles assistant coach, Daniel Amokachi will lead the Flying Eagles to the World Youth Championship in Egypt. According to an impeccable source: "I can cnfirm to you that Ladan Bosso is gone and Dan Amokachi has been picked as his replacement. What is left is just for the NFF board to ratify the decision. Bosso, has shown that he does not have te capacity to lead the Flying Eagles to the World Cup. The source further affirmed that "Since the NFF do not want to distract Amodu Shaibu's World Cup preparations, the best thing is to appoint Amokachi to take charge of the team. It is however, unclear who will be named as Amockahi's assistant. But my People, IS AMOKACHI THE RIGHT REPLACEMENT FOR BOSSO?. |

'I wish you were still here,Pique' was all i could see the scot's face, as Sir Alex Ferguson was left to count the cost of Manchester United's league win over Blackburn ahead of the Champions League tie against Inter Milan. Centre-back Jonny Evans limped out of the 2-1 win on Saturday and is unlikely to play against Inter on Tuesday. The holders are already without injured duo Gary Neville and Wes Brown, and the suspended Nemanja Vidic for the match. "It is a nightmare - somewhere I have to find two centre-backs," Sir said yesterday. My people, do you think Man U will survive the heat at san siro? |

Super Eagles' most successful handler, Dutchman Clemence Westerhof, has cautioned Coach Shaibu Amodu not to build his team around players who are warming the bench in their respective clubs as the Nigerian team gear up for the crucial stage of the 2010 Nations/World qualifiers. Nigerians have become apprehensive about the Super Eagles' qualification for both tournaments following their recent unimpressive goalless draw against the Reggae Boys of Jamaica in an international friendly. But the self-acclaimed 'Dutchgerian' is looking beyond the qualifiers, setting a semi-final benchmark for the Amodu-tutored team. "Every Nigerians is a coach. I don't know why everybody is worried because the Super Eagles' drew goalless with the Reggae Boys of Jamaica," Westerhof wondered in a telephone chat. My people.make una help me reason am, do we enough players playing in the first team in their clubs?,i yes, who can Amodu build his team around? . . |

No fewer than 25,000 Nigerians are living in Italy illegally and the Nigerian govt. is not folding her hands in the wake of this revelation. This was part of the agenda of the closed door meeting between the Nigerian Foreign minister, Chief Ojo Maduekwe and his Italian counterpart, Dr. Franco Frattini in Abuja on Wednesday. Briefing the media after the meeting, Chief Ojo Maduekwe said the federal government will do everything necessary to have the illegal aliens to return to the country even as he told his guest to always accord the Nigerians their human rights. "As part of the Citizen Diplomacy of this government, we still want our people to be respected wherever they may be even as we do not encourage any Nigerian to travel to any country illegally, but in the case of Italy, we are also happy that we have another 40,000 Nigerians living there legitimately". Abeg My people,If things continue this way, dont you think Nigerians will soon start agitating for new states creation for them, in countries like Italy? |
Ever wondered why Rafa is bitter, Wenger frustrated and Scolari lost?, well,If u still dont know why,you are on the 'longest thing'. Well,i've vowed never to talk on this issue, but the last straw that broke the camel's back was when i had to spend the night outside, after a fair argument with my Dad. Just 5 matches into the season,United were cooling their heels somewhere near the relegation zone as their poor start to a season staged a comeback. Weeks ahead,United looked certain to struggle, especially with the absence of key players,as the league fixtures took its toll on them and they had to play the top 10 teams of one after the other (crucial Away matches). With barely 15 games to go,the so called 'premier league robbers' are perched at the top of the table as their match fixtures disadvantage, has suddenly become an advantage towards the end. My people, Abeg make una help me reason am,is this United being over criticised or are they the reallest Robbers one can ever think of, ? |
Ever reasoned the validity of the popular lyrics 'cash rules everything around me' by Wyclef and Akon.Nevertheless,if this statement is anything to go by,considering the present Economic Crisis, first of its kind since 1929,I could bet that not only are folks going to lose their jobs, but their love as well. Now Val's around the corner, dont u think it should be carried over to next year, hopefully, when the financial situation would have staged a comeback.? |
