Debbietiyan: He had been staring at me since forever. I have every item of my list in my shopping basket but I’m still walking round the aisle, hopefully waiting for him to pucker up courage and come talk to me. I keep stealing quick glances trying to register his current position – I want to be ready with my knock-em-down killer smile when he actually does come. He’s with a friend – I only just noticed that. Screw it I’m leaving. I walk up to the counter. A couple of swiping and packaging later, I’m leaving, disappointment etched on my face to think I had imagined our first kiss.
“Natural light looks wonderful on you.”
His voice is everything I had imagined. “Hi” I turn, my face mirroring surprise and then shock and finally disappointment. He’s right there, the voice is speaking but his lips aren’t moving. I glance over to the owner of the voice – his friend, and my heart pummels to the ground.
“You’re more beautiful – now that I am standing so close, I thought I had seen it all, but apparently…I haven’t. My name’s Damian” he stretches out his hand.
“Well you don’t look so bad yourself,” I lie, he looks terrible in comparison with his mute friend.
“Do you mind?” he asks, handling me his phone. “It’s my friend’s phone. I have a flat battery,” he explains “could you put in your number?”
I grudgingly type in my number. ”Nice meeting you.” I say, looking only at the mute friend and then walking away.
Five steps away, I get a text.
‘ I’m sorry I tricked you into getting your number, Damian is a good friend. You looked so beautiful, I thought you weren’t real. I was literally speechless as I fear you noticed‘
I look back and "he" is waving. this is soo fvcking sweet, |

Niyuu: "Why is your hair red?" He asked
"Red is my favourite colour" I answered, irritated by his disgusted expression
"So? I like green and you don't see me turning myself into a Nigerian flag"
I roll my eyes so backward I see my brain. It was filled with thoughts of him.
He reached out and intertwined his fingers with mine, whilst pretending to be so busy staring at the stars above us. After minutes of comfortable silence, he pointed to the darkened sky.
"You see that one? The shiniest?"
"Yeah?"
"That's not a star. Its a satellite pretending to be a star."
"Teacher!!" I hail, intentionally bumping into his side. I was as close as possible to him, still, I wanted to be closer. I wanted to kiss him. I wanted him to grab my waist and pull me closer while our lips melted into one another. I wanted him to whisper and give me that shivering feeling. I wanted him to want me.
"When I'm wealthy I'll buy one"
"Buy a star?"
"Buy a star." He smiled.
"Just because it happens in cartoons, does not mean it happens in real time"
"Oh please" He rolled his eyes "of course I can buy a star"
"Oh really? Who are you going to pay to? And what currency would you use?"
I heard his beautiful laugh. "We would cross that bridge when we get to it."
"Lol... Babe that's an uncrossable bridge"
"Is being your lover an uncrossable bridge?"
I stopped.
"What?... uh... Timi I-
He laughed again. "Ha. Babe I'm just playing with you"
I narrow my eyes at him. "Fùck you"
Instantly, I'm against the wall. His hands, at my sides, cage me.
"I know you want to babe. I know you want to. I know that's all you think about every single fuckìn minute. I know my voice makes you shiver, my whispers make you melt. I know I turn you on. I know-
He lowered his voice
"I know you want to fùck me"
He covered his face with his eyes in seeming exasperation
"And the good Lord knows I want to fùck you too." oh fvck fvck fvck...babe I'll buy your novels anytime. well done. 2 Likes |

breadplanets: A mixer of 7 or 8k won't knead bread dough for you. if it tries it won't last. so enjoy your hand kneading while saving up money for a proper mixer. kneading is good exercise too. Okay..pls like how much should I budget |

loveymom: Kneading with hand is alot of work and require a technic. My bread don't come out soft enough if I knead with hand as well. So getting a mixer is the best as you can also use it for cake too. Yup I would. |

loveymom: 4 cups flour 1/2 tsp salt 2 tsp yeast 2 tbsp oil 1 cup water plus 2tbsp 2 tbsp sugar or more 1 tbsp milk powder 1 tbsp low fat margarine or butter.. Directions. If you have a mixer and it has bread hook, then Shift your flour in the mixing bowl, add your sugar, salt, yeast, milk and butter. Mix with hand, make a well in the flour and pour in your water, oil and add any flavour of your choice if you want max half teaspoon. Mix by hand or with a spatula or Garri turner. When it's folded attach your bread hook to your mixer and start kneading it for 8 -10 mins. Bring your bowl out and cover very well for 1 and half hours. Take back to knead again for 3-5 mins more. Flour a suface or kneading wood and knead by hand to make sure it's not sticky then roll like a ball and spread it long to fit into your already greased pan. Place the dough in the pan and cover for 45 mins to 1hour. Then bake in a preaheated oven in medium heat for 30- 35 mins or until the bread is done. You can do egg wash before baking or after baking you melt little butter and run on top of the bread and allow to cool.
For preservation. Your bread won't go stale for atleast 3-4 days if you put in the fridge. But if you want to keep for a week to weeks then you can add rum or powder preservatives.
NB. Please the water should be room temperature. If you are using hand, then knead it for 10-12 mins and knead for 5 mins the second time on floured surface. Thanks a lot ma'am. Been of great help |
