Samsung's Galaxy Fold foldable phone is here and it looks absolutely insane. At its big Unpacked event on Wednesday, Samsung finally showed the Galaxy Fold in full, unfolding its 4.6-inch display into a 7.3-inch tablet. Samsung called the Galaxy Fold a "luxury" device and well ... at $1,980 when it comes out on April 26, it really isn't for the everyday person. If you balked at a $1,000 phone, you're gonna lose your mind at the Fold's pricing. It'll be available in four different colors and Samsung says customers will even be able to customize the hinge color. https://edition.cnn.com/business/live-news/samsung-galaxy-s10-launch/index.html

Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Fold, a phone that bends into a tablet. When its folded, the phone has a 4.6 inch display. Once it's opened, it boasts a 7.3 inch screen. It has two batteries, one on each side of the device, and six cameras. When using an app like Google Maps on the smaller screen, you can open it up to see a bigger more detailed version of the map. The device lets you multi-task on the bigger screen. Users can do things like text friends, search for something on Google and watch a YouTube video simultaneously. https://edition.cnn.com/business/live-news/samsung-galaxy-s10-launch/index.html

The federal hospital Abuja were operations are carried out using torch light because of lack of electricity owing yo the government failure in that sector. Is this supposed to be seen in a federal hospital that's left for the masses to patronise. No wonder the government officials fly abroad for treatment knowing what they've installed here in Nigeria.

Pope Francis sustained minor injuries today after hitting his head against the vehicle in which he was traveling in Cartagena, Colombia. A spokesman for the pope confirmed the injuries, which were captured on video, saying he has a wound on his cheekbone and eyebrow but is "fine." He is receiving "ice treatment,” the spokesman added. The incident occurred while Francis, 80, was traveling in the popemobile, a customized vehicle outfitted with bulletproof glass designed to protect the pope while he greets crowds. He appeared to be leaning outside a glass panel in front of him when the vehicle stopped and his face made contact with the barrier. Pope Francis has been visiting Colombia since Wednesday, making stops in the cities of Bogota, Medellin and Cartagena. www.abcnews.go.com/International/pope-francis-injured-hitting-head-popemobile/story?id=49743128

This is just another reminder that the left has a very large advantage in the internet age in shutting down any and all speech it disagrees with. Elizabeth Johnson, a Christian mother and activist, lashed out at Teen Vogue for producing a guy to anal sex for teenagers. She used no profanity in her tweet, but Twitter banned her account and Google took away her right to make money off YouTube videos. Why? Because she considers homosexuality a sin — a view several billion people on the planet share. The Teen Vogue editor, who champions making the upcoming generation the “queerest” ever, put up a picture on Twitter of him kissing another guy while giving the camera the middle finger. He will keep his account. |

According to a Facebook user, he claims to have seen the imprint of Allah in the meat for sallah. He wrote on his timeline the following, "Wallahi, I testify that there's no other gods but Allah SWT. I have been hearing series of news that Allah's name reflected on this and that. But today, I confirmed it. Some part of meat from our Ram after frying reflected Allah's name showing supremacy and oneness of Allah. Not only one but two meats."

EX-England captain Wayne Rooney was taking a
mystery woman home in her car when he was
arrested on suspicion of drink driving, it has been
claimed. The Everton striker was pulled over by cops at 2am this morning while at the wheel of a 29-year-old brunette office worker’s black VW Beetle following a night out with footballing pals, it has been reported. Got some explaining to do? Wayne Rooney speaks on the phone as he is driven away from Middlewich custody suite after being questioned on suspicion of drink driving Rooney was charged on Friday with drink driving after being arrested at 2am this morning at the wheel of a black VW Beetle. Rooney was seen dancing on tables and singing Oasis at Bubble Room Bar in Alderley Edge, according to reports. Rooney, 31, is thought to have been three times the limit when police stopped him in Cheshire. MailOnline claims superstar Rooney, who is set to become a dad for the fourth time, offered to drive the unnamed woman home because she was "too drunk to drive" following the "all night session" with pals. But instead he spent the night in the cells after partying in the Bubble Room in Alderley Edge — just five miles from he and pregnant wife Coleen's £6million mansion in Prestbury. The £150k-a-week striker was reportedly seen singing Oasis hits with ex-United teammate Wes Brown in the popular celeb haunt. Witnesses said he was "visibly drunk" and was being "friendly" and "nice to people", according to MailOnline — while others told Metro Rooney was dancing on tables and singing along to a live cover band. Earlier at around 4pm he had been seen eating in nearby Italian restaurant Piccolino. |

A TALE OF TWO WORLD LEADERS, SAME
SCENERIO News One: Flood in Houston, Texas 100,000 Houses submerged: US President Donald Trump flies in for on-the spot assessment. Relief materials readily available, prayers offered and wide media coverage. News Two: Flood in Markurdi Benue State : 110,000 people displaced in 24 communities: Nigerian President Muhamadu Buhari arrives his hometown Daura, celebrating Muslim holiday, merries and feast on rams. Not even a federal minister has paid a visit, poor media coverage and nothing more.

Agbede Adekunle Olagbaye SAID: That is Mike Pence, the Vice President of the United States helping in packing debris from a building in the flood ravaged area. Nigeria only have leaders with heads without brains and bodies without hearts! Buhari is sending thoughts from his village where he is doing sallah while over 100,000 Nigerians are left homeless by floods. Some people think we should just keep hailing Buhari as if the lives of 100,000 Nigerians mean nothing. We don't care about any politician, we are simply saying that our lives matter and the government MUST do their jobs to the fullest. Any politician can go to blazes, we don't care. It is like we don't even value lives on this continent, some people care more about politicians than the lives of vulnerable citizens, like seriously? Between praising Buhari and making sure over 100,000 Nigerians who are now homeless get all the help they need, which one is more important? Is this the best Buhari can offer, like seriously? Or was it not the taxes of these same people that Buhari used to pamper himself in London? Why are African leaders like this? source: AIT News

A STUDENT who went on a massive spending spree after she received a staggering £850,000 instead of her usual £85 monthly university food grant could face up to 15 years in jail. Sibongile Mani, 27, who was on benefits to allow her to study, faces criminal charges of fraud and theft after she splurged the cash in 73 days after the blunder. Sibongile Mani went on a staggering spending spree after she was accidentally given £850,000 instead of £85 for her student maintenance The accountancy student, who is at the Walter Sisulu University in Mthatha, Eastern Cape, South Africa, gets £85 each month put into her bank account in food and book allowances. But instead the company that administers the financial aid allowances at the university called Intellimali fouled up and sent £850,000 in cash to the hard up student. In a Facebook post Sibongile claimed she had reported the error to the authorities. She said: "Today my personal life has become a social media scandal. I have been named and shamed in public. Today, I am a bad person, a person who stole the money of students. “With that being said, and being named a thief, but as we all know in every story there is truth and there are lies with the very same story". She said she was not denying anything but would tell her side later but she has fled the campus and gone into hiding and shut down her Facebook page. The 27-year-old student splurged a fortune on booze, parties, haircuts and designer clothes. Suspicions were first aroused when a receipt for 13.6 million rand (£810,000) was found after she shopped at a SPAR supermarket Student leader Sibongile, who has shown no remorse despite facing possible jail, told the Daily Daily Dispatch: "It is very clear that I didn’t make the error”. Sibongile was said to have undergone a Cinderella like transformation overnight after the cash blunder. Eyebrows were raised initially when her neat corn- row hairstyle was replaced with £180-a-time Peruvian weaves and she began wearing designer outfits and bought a brand new i-phone 7. She began flashing the cash kitting out her closest friends with new outfits and drinking £50-a-time bottles of whisky and jetting herself and her pals round the country to wild parties. source: https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/4369388/south-african-student-spending-spree-wrong-university-grant-sibongile-mani/?utm_source=FBPAGE&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=SprnklrSUNOrganic&UTMX=Editorial:TheSun:FBLink:Quote:News

Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo has dismissed reports that he will head the Federal Government’s negotiation team, who would meet with the representatives of the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) and put an end to the strike. Special Assistant on Media and Publicity to the Vice President, Laolu Akande stated this in a tweet on Thursday. Minister of Labour and Employment, Chris Ngige, was quoted to have confirmed this development after the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting earlier this week. However, Akande has debunked the reports, saying it is false. “News reports that VP Osinbajo has taken over ASUU negotiations is untrue and inaccurate. Labour and Education Ministers continue to lead the talks,” he wrote on Twitter. ASUU had said they were still waiting to hear from government on their requests . The union’s president, Abiodun Ogunyemi, said they were not aware of the take over of the government team by Osinbajo. source: https://www.nigerianbulletin.com/threads/ASUU-strike-i-am-not-leading-fgs-negotiation-team-osinbajo.243533/ |
