Mission Accomplished: Reflections on My 30-Day Writing Challenge

The Writing Journey of 30 days has come to an end. It was filled with lots of topics that I hope many learned from. I am ecstatic that I was able to reach the last day. I hope to do more of this in the future as this will increase more awareness in our society that writing is good.

Now that the writing challenge is accomplished, what next? Well, I will be back to writing my articles and publishing periodically, it will contain different areas of life that many would want to read.

On my Day 29th, I have stressed out the importance of this challenge, as well as writing and also extending my appreciation to everyone who has stayed with me this far.

All thanks to God for making this a reality, I tried this in June but I was unable to reach the last day. I hope this will serve as motivation to others to pick up challenges that are of intellectual origin.

It is not about the quantity, but the quality.

Transforming Through Writing: My 29-Day Challenge Journey

Today is the day 29 of my writing challenge, when I'm about to draft the content of today's episode. I stare at my screen for a minute and I have different opinions coming through. As I begin to draft them through within paragraphs, another contrary opinion would come. I will have to delete and start writing again. Some I would save them to buttress some another day. This is to say, the purpose of the writing challenge has manifested in my writing skills.

My writing skills have been depreciating and this is one of the reasons why I initiated this challenge for Myself, also to serve as a motivation to others that writing is a good tool to increase our thinking behaviour and intellectual capability. I read in some part that, a content that was written by us, probably on a paper or in an electronic device would be easier to recall than a content that was read by us. This is to say, there are higher chances to remember what we wrote on paper or electronic devices than what we listen to.

I am using this medium to appeal to students, and members of the public, to emulate jotting down key notes in seminars, symposiums, and while attending lectures, also to give their opinions on matters that they think of.

There are different platforms that could be used to publish our opinion, instead of reposting memes and other kinds of videos. We should have the habit of extracting meaningful content ourselves and publishing it in our social media space or probably our jotter or diary. It is not necessary to draft a befitting content with several paragraphs. The purpose is that, it should be meaningful, and should be drafted in a way the receiver or readers would easily understand the content. If we are consistent in writing, before time it will become part of us. The journey of a thousand miles, starts with a bold step.

When I start this challenge, I know the path would be rough and here today, it is day 29 already. I give thanks to Almighty God for sustaining me till this time, and to all readers, I say a very big thank you for standing with me this far.

My Writing Challenge: Reflections on Global News and Personal Growth

My challenge has started properly and it is accordingly, today, let's have a paraphrase of the challenge and how my day was spent.

Since the inception of this writing challenge, I have touched many topics, including philosophy, economics, social, politics, Cryptocurrency, religion among others. I have not integrated comic or funny stories since the start. This I believe shows my sign of seriousness than the later June challenge which I was unable to finish.

This writing challenge is not an easy task, as I need to make sure my contents are original and relevant. This is why, most times I had to surf the internet more than before.

Most of the challenges that I am facing in making publications are not directly to the absence of content to write, but it was due to inability to create time for the drafting. This is why, some content was published late and others might be early. I am only making sure, I devoid all doubt to sustain myself in the challenge and to keep to my words.

My Day did not go as planned, I had the intention of attending my usual Sabbath, but had to pay a courtesy to my Gold with other members of my family.

While at my destination, I discovered that, the Israeli Prime Minister attended the UN Assembly and in his speech, warned the Iranian government against bombing and that they would retaliate if any of such occurs on Israel soil. While I continued to check more news, I discovered that the Hezbollah leader was later eliminated today by the Israeli Defence Force. I was so confused. This makes me think, if the prime minister could do that in another's man country, Lebanon. What would have happened to Boko Haram and other bandits terrorising our core North in Nigeria.

It is also pertinent to note that, the VeryDarkMan saga with Bobrisky is taking new shape as the Reps have intervened and had summoned everyone that is answerable to the scenario. This I read in parts, the EFCC chairman, Bobrisky and VeryDarkMan.
There is also some altercation between some members of the Falana and VeryDarkMan.

I also read via X that Saudi Arabia has banned Imam from preaching or mentioning Palestinian in their sermon. They said, politics or so should be a boycott in Makkah or Medina. This was allegedly made public by the Saudi Arabia Prince.

Lastly, the cost of living is damn much Let us be guided in everything that we are doing. There is scarcity of money and resources, inflation of price and low level of supply as a result of low level of demand.

Whatever you have or possess, use them wisely.

Nursing Mothers in Nightlife: A Growing Epidemic

The writing challenge begins just like yesterday, and the fire is still burning. I intend to write about more areas of life and other status who affecting our society or are of importance to our society.

While I begin this challenge, sometimes I have the thought that what if I do not have a topic or concept to talk about. What would happen. Will that be the end of the challenge. There are many challenges that are coming through but because I am fully prepared for this September challenge. This is why I am despairing all odds to ensure that, I have something to write about daily.

I also need to commend everyone that is taking their time to read through my contents. There are some which are comic, some are concerning the state of the nation and some are current trends in our society.

There are some things that are happening in our society which I need to cheapen into before today's episode finishes cooking.

I read in some part on X formerly Twitter, that the rate at which nursing mothers are now backing their infants to attend lounge and club nowadays is alarming. It is becoming an epidemic among them and if legislation is not made, our society will become more rotten than the usual or more than our current challenging.It is on this note that relevant authorities need to look at these recent developments to avoid perpetual occurrence in future. We should also re-collect that, I once wrote about the increase in nightlife and how our state is not productive.

I am of the opinion that legislation will be made to avert this before it becomes a general norm.

HAMSTER KOMBAT Token Launch: Disappointment and Lessons

The atmosphere was somehow today, as many individuals were expecting the launch of the long awaited crypto project named HAMSTER KOMBAT. This game is said to be played by more than 250 million people around the world.

The Telegram mini game has commenced since 6 months or thereabouts ago, and it involves tapping to earn, unlocking keys, buying card for Profit per hour or to boost cloud mining, it involves daily cipher, daily combo and visiting their YouTube channel among others.
Many had forecasts to use the money generated from the scheme to get basic needs and wants. While some make a bogus list of items, others make a meme list and there about. The game has earlier informed its participants that, they will base their reward based on Profit Per Hour — but as fate will have it. Many got penury.

Earlier before the listing day, a lot of participants began to receive their allocation in their wallet and this they thought will be a "calamitous yoyo" due to the amount of Hamster token received. It is at this time they knew "they bleeped up". At this point, a lot of people begin to change the narrative towards their expectations of something huge but others still aim higher.

The listing of the Hamster Kombat token yesterday, was perceived to be the announcement of the world election as many are in anticipation to see the result and how much they will earn. Lo and behold, around 12:00 UTC — 1:00pm Nigerian time. The token was listed and the people called it DUST — A value which is considered small or low.
It is at this point, people begin to raise their opinion to lament and make comparisons towards other projects that have "cooked" in the past. Such as NOTCOIN, DOGS, and the likes. Which they got profited accordingly.

Hamster Kombat was listed at a lower price and minutes after listing, it begins to dump, this is caused by the massive sell by many users who intend to sell their portion and take away their profit. Since the listing, hamster Kombat continues to dump.
This gave the crypto expert the avenue to make more profits, as derivative traders have begun to "short" the coin and they are getting profit already just that, the coin can pump anytime and their portfolio might be liquidated if they did not put stop loss.

Hamster Kombat is a nice project but the people expect too much from them. My opinion is that, the season two of the mining will not have more participants like the season one and people might not continue to mine again. The community members might begin to reduce as their interest in telegram mini game will reduce drastically.

I once said that, cryptocurrency has various seasons. Let us use it wisely, we should not be emotionally connected to the project we are engaging with. Anything can happen.

Economic Hardship: The Unspoken Truth About Social Injustice

The situation of things in our society is extreme, everyone is finding it hard to meet up with their daily needs. The inflation in price of goods and services is affecting all and sundry. Everybody now understands the concept of needs and wants. There is no irrational spending among the majority because the current economy has humbled us.

While this act is good, I will say it is a cowardice behavior by neglecting the real solution to the problem. The people have become reactionary in the face of their oppressor those that I tagged as bourgeois. They are using the security operative — the gestapo to succumb the voice of the people against making demand towards a healthy living. They are using all it takes to ensure that their voice is not raised talk less of heard.

This is the sad reality of our society and everyone is already complaining. Which has made us leave physical problems to be solved in a spiritual way due to our religious indoctrination. We are bigoted in religious proceedings and we are so much addicted to it. Religion which should have encouraged us to say the truth is the one coordinating our truth and it is prompting cowardice in us. This is also orchestrated by our religious leaders, as they foresee that such economic problems are spiritual and could be solved spiritually whereas, they are not directly concerned or face the problem where the common man is facing.

Irrespective of the case, I hope our beloved country becomes more successful. To promote healthy living Among all, which could be achieved by our individual contribution.

Philosophy on Hold: A Writer’s Dilemma

On today's episode of my writing challenge, I had the intention of writing about philosophy. What prompted me to even think of such is my recent discussion with a philosopher coz, I'm fading away from philosophical concepts as I used to take the thinking far from the physical and spiritual view.

This will prompt me to ask some questions which others might consider disturbing or blasphemous. In order to curb all these status quo, I had to limit my thoughts to myself and leave such arguments until I see people of my kind who are interested in such intellectual discussion.

The atmospheric condition of my environment is not conducive to write about this area topic therefore, it will be another discussion for another day. Probably, before the challenge ends or in my later articles.

Regulating Osun State’s Nightlife: A Call to Action for Sustainable Growth

The rate at which social maladjustment is getting more audience than factory or industry in Nigeria is alarming, this is navigated straight down to my state, Osun, while I navigate it down to Osogbo the capital of the state.

Recently, there has been an increase in the number club house or lounge house where people are partying everyday in Osogbo and those clubs are in the same route or road network. This kind of investment is commendable but it does not add to the growth of our society as it is a place for social life. While it serves as a job opportunity for staff employed, it does not create innovation or any kind of resources to be exported to other states or an avenue to process finish and unfinish good or render services which are of productivity to the state or country.

These clubs are now engaging renovations as it is getting to the ember period where people will be partying every now and then. This is part of what is giving retarded individuals an avenues to continue to go astray, because they want to meet up with the standard of social maladjustment or peer group belonging.

With inflation in the price of goods and services, all these clubs have also hiked their goods yet, people are patronising despite the increments. Where do we say, they are getting the money from. In a state that is mostly engaged with civil servants and her productivity is low. Well, God is a miracle working one. It might be a work of being chosen.

My opinion is that the government needs to ensure that, the establishments of clubs are cautious and regulated accordingly. To ensure such that other sectors of production are being integrated into our society instead of establishing a clubhouse and probably filling the station at every corner of our residence.

Edo State Election: A Reflection of Nigeria’s Political Landscape

The Nigeria state is currently governed by two major parties, The People's Democratic Party and All progressive party. There are many other parties that are in the country but the two parties are the ones that have been shifting power among themselves.

I cannot say, which of them is the best because they both operate in almost the same module operandi. They have both failed the people in terms of governance and all other activities involved in the electioneering process..

Just yesterday, The Edo State gubernatorial election was conducted and it lasted till some early hours of today. The election which is majorly competitive between three major parties, APC, PDP LP — Labour Party. Rumours have it that, some parties are involved in vote buying, through giving voters some money before they will vote for them or using money to appeal to them for voting or to change their mind.

It is also noteworthy to say, the security operatives were able apprehend some individuals who were engaged in vote buying and taking to custody for proper profiling..

It was also rumor that the Independent Electoral Commission were transparent in their result distribution but what do we say, This is Nigeria.

Las las the Election is said to have been concluded after a lot of comic scenes that occurred in the electoral process. The people decided or INEc Decided.?
That's the kind of country we live in. Everybody is involved in the current state of Nigeria.

September Writing Challenge: Growth, Lessons, and Renewed Commitment

My writing challenge is reshaping my being and I'm learning more with the comments that I am receiving from learned individuals. I put more effort into this saga of the challenge due to the fact that, the June challenge was halt as a result some reason best known to me.

While I was thinking of starting this September challenge, I have carefully looked at my lapse in the previous one and I thought about how I will be consistent through the days of the month.

This gave me the avenue to set up space for any kind of difficulties, and carefully thought about plan B in terms of urgency or as the case maybe.

In this challenge, I have received more comments than the previous and I ensure I wrote content which is more pertinent than the last version where I discussed comics, jokes and other non regular topics.

I am committed to writing more and extending into more areas of life. The challenge continues and I will have to pause here for today's episode.

Transforming Weakness into Strength: My Writing Journey

The journey of a thousand miles starts with a step, I do not even know I might be a writer while I was young. I used to skip English classes because I prefer mathematics or calculation rather than languages or other social sciences, and biological sciences. I so much love those calculations that it interests me the most.

As I continue to age, I see that I would be needing English as a means of communication and other factors therein but due to the fact that my English teacher is one whom I am not pleased with, then I continue to deteriorate. People used to say that, if you dislike a teacher, there is a tendency that you won't understand their subject or course. So technically, I kept having lower grades in my English and poor communication skills.

When I was about finishing secondary, I saw more reasons why, I need English and this gives me the avenue to charge myself that, I must be up and doing in my English Language and communication skills.

I got myself charged with letter writing, essays, articles, among others and this enabled me to start blogging immediately I left high school. This blogging is a means to share my ideas and opinions to the general public and to seek opinions or comments that will allow me to develop more interest the more and to make necessary corrections and upgrading.

While I keep my hopes high and the interest continues to germinate, then begin to be a prolific writer. I love to write press statements and articles against some status quo while I was in a tertiary institution.
As a younger one, I always thought about long essays and how those writers arrive at such dissertation. I found it more hectic for them to have pitched such long essays or articles and where the inspiration is coming from. These are some of the factors that contribute to my being towards becoming a writer.

My writing skills were duly polished when I began Student Unionism, I became more popular with my persistent and continuous writing to condemn and praise any form of status quo that is happening around the college and this makes me more popular.

It has been years now, and the morale is still high, I intend to write more about my journey and what prompts me into starting a writing challenge. Meanwhile, the Spirit is willing but the body is weak.
Probably sooner, I will further this discussion. The writing challenge continues and thanks for standing with me this far.

Overcoming Life’s Obstacles: My Day 19 Challenge Reflection

I had a very stressful day and was so occupied with lots of activities throughout. I am of the opinion to write my challenge episode at the usual time but as fate will have it. The narrative changed as I used the period to watch Arsenal match. Being an arsenal fan I was carried away till the match finished, and thereafter I dozed off.

When I woke up in the middle of the night, I had to meddle up and pitch something to cover up for the later day.

Yesterday is day 19 of the challenge, I'm more than grateful to everyone who has been taking their time to read all the content. I appreciate all your comradeship and to those whose comments and opinions on the content have enabled me to make more changes to the status quo. May you continue to increase intellectually.

The Authenticity Crisis: AI’s Impact on Writing and Education

Today was a good day and my thoughts is to write about people that are using AI — artificial intelligence to write all sorts of content that comes their way. This behavior is now rampant among individuals as they will not take their time to make any necessary adjustments or correction towards the content given to them by authority or as the case may be.

The misuse of this AI generated content and perpetual usage is one of the factors that triggers me to begin this September writing challenge. I have seen people releasing an AI based press release and in their own thoughts, they are trying to be wise not knowing that, sooner, they will be addicted and their Brain will be addicted into soliciting for information instead of generating an authentic for them from within.

There are many students whose assignment and test is now being performed by AI instead of thorough research and hypothesis by themselves. This habit is now rampant in varsity and other educational sectors. The integration of meta AI on WhatsApp has also made it easier for all and sundry to have easy access to AI bot unlike the paid chatgpt. Many have abused the AI and misuse the technology that is developed to assist us more better.

There are some individuals that have now dumped their formal ways of writing into the hands of AI. Some individuals have even gone to extra length to find an app that could assist them to enable people not to know that they use meta AI or any other related bot for the draft of their content.

While we appreciate the integration and intervention of AI. It is noteworthy that, it's usage should be done accordingly and not allow us from suspending our critical thinking in writing a detailed and constructive article or content.

Moving On: President Tinubu’s Corn Initiative Amidst Hike Fuel price

The Nigerian President during his campaign had said the youth will eat corn — maize, cassava, garri and the likes. It is no longer a joke that his manifesto is already coming to fulfilment as bags of these items are now arriving in each state for proper supply.

While this is commendable efforts from Mr President and what he promised is already coming to fulfilment, it is also noteworthy to remind his excellency that, price of fuel which was said will be cheaper is now skyrocket than the initial and it is causing mayhem in our society leading to high cost of living

I wished to continue this topic but I had a busy day and I’m very weak at the moment.

The 'I Am a Chosen' Phenomenon: Separating Fact from Fiction in Religious Testimonies

My attention was called to a trending video on social media. It was brought as a cruise and as a social person who is always aware of his sociocultural environment, the person believes I should have known about the current trend. Meanwhile, I was busy throughout the day and I did not have a glimpse of any information about what's going on via TikTok or X formerly Twitter including WhatsApp Status.

The discussion is about the "I am a Chosen" phrase or ideology of a sect that has been disturbing the internet. These are different individuals from a particular denomination testifying on the altar of their church to say what they consider as a reality that the God of their pastor has done for them in time of obstacles.
This testimony varies from one to another, and it includes Gun Shot penetration denial, Kidnapping escape, and among others which because of belabor I refuse to state.

While I found it somewhat comical, an illusion, or misinformation like others will say as Superstition but according to the testifies they said it is real.
When a person is giving out testimony, the person is giving out information about a divine encounter, that is most times spiritual which some of it are not provable scientifically but can be adopted provided people are able to see the effect in reality or the circumstances surrounding the challenges are made known to the public.

In the case of "I am a chosen" a majority of the proclaimed testimony is laughable and ludicrous that should be subjected for forensic analysis. They need to be examined critically as they appear to be false with no iota of truth.

On the other hand, it is bad to make mockery of those believers who are making such testimony as we have had almost the same mysterious miraculous statement by some prominent man of God in Nigeria. We have also debated about a miraculous substance that is offered for sale by a supposed denomination. This highlights the connection between different denominations and ways of convincing their congregants. The Congregants are the only witnesses to let us know whether such miraculous statements that are being made from them are true and it is a total divine intervention. If we can disprove their testimony — "I am a chosen", and catch a cruise with their subject matter but accept other forms of testimony from which is directly proportional to their kind of testimony, then we are hypocritical.

It is true that religion is almost fading away as everyone is now getting exposed to first hand information and have begun to question some instances which cannot be scientifically proven, and those that disprove the law of gravity, motion and force. Religion is now majorly seen as a tool to control the mind of the people, most especially the less privileged. According to Karl Marx; Religion is the sigh of the oppressed creature, the heart of the heartless world, the soul of the soulless condition, it is the opium of the people. Religion is also considered man-made and used to control our behavioral characteristics. Meanwhile, it is changing it’s main clause and in some part turning into a capitalism system where, revenue is being generated and shared among the top brassed. With focus on signs and wonders.

There are many situations that warrant questioning nowadays in the religious or spiritual realm but the hypocrisy in us will make us consider some people as a touch not my anointing due to their large congregation numbers but consider others as a laughing stock. What those individuals are saying is almost the same reality that we have experienced in the past or in recent days, but taken too far. I will say, there are more Fabricated stories that are more than this which are not taken to the internet for the public to see.

In all we do we should maintain openness and sincerity, and not just catch a cruise with them or their denomination. we should also checkmate ourselves as an individual if we are not a religious bigot or we do not appear to others as a retard which we consider those individuals.

Maximizing My Day: How I Prioritize Tasks and Manage My Time

My day was absolutely tremendous and I had to manage. I intend to write about religion today but I was so occupied that, I had to manage the timing to pen this and hopefully tomorrow something of such will be written.

I was reminiscing about the state of the nation and other factors surrounding the underdevelopment of our country. I was thinking about the position of the religious leaders and what our society has become in the spirit of securing a better morrow.

Well, this is Nigeria as pronounced by Falz, Everybody is okay, so far they are comfortable.

I had to conserve my energy till tomorrow. The challenge continues.

Nigeria’s Economic Crisis: Police Harassment and the Risk of Another Uprising

The situation of the country is getting tense with the hardship of the country orchestrated by the high cost of living and inflation in the price of goods and services. Everybody is finding prey to feed on and this is the testament of today's episode of my writing challenge.

Years back, the country has faced some uprising due to the government’s negligence to curb some situational reports by the people. Nigeria might experience other protests so much more coordinated than the Endsars Movement of 2020 because, the gestapo is at it again.

The people are facing lots of struggles toward meeting their day to day activities and feeding alongside the high cost of living, and what they are also experiencing is that some members of the police force being integrated are doing same task as formal disbanded SARS. After the disbandment of this unit in latter years and changes being made to their module operandi. It is also noteworthy that, the Inspector General of Police has said that any act of requesting citizens phones is unethical and illegal except if a case is established against it.

It is very crystal clear that, some sets of gestapo are now found on road side and they are checking people's phones and luggage accusing all and sundry of cyber crime based on physical representation. They are now using the people as prey for their own sustainability, to meet their daily bread.

This act needs to be curb and they should be called into order before the people begin another uprising. They are currently facing the menace of Increase in fuel price. This precedent act by the gestapo might trigger them from revolting against the government and Nigeria does not need this kind of movement at this particular point in time rather than corrections.

The government and the leadership of the force need to do something against this and not make themselves to be a tool for oppression and intimidation of the people. The government is the core center of the problem they are facing, and such sectors like the police force should not let themselves be the reason that will trigger the people for the next uprising.

The Power of Cryptocurrency: Uniting Strangers in Unexpected Ways

All over the internet the people are now united as a team. There is no need for hatred of any kind. Everybody is now a friend to one another. This is my story about what happened to me days ago.

I went to a car park to meet up with someone for a Resin Art Delivery package by Craft by Alley — which can be reached on TikTok. Upon the successful delivery of this Resin Art work, it began to be raining so I had to stay in a filling station to prevent my clothes from being wet. As I was standing, the man close to me was talking about PPH. Upon hearing PPH it caught my attention and I was like. I need to know where this conversation is going. Lo and behold. It was the same Profit Per Hour of Hamster Kombat that they were talking about. The other man was saying buying cards on special is dope, and the other was refusing. He was bragging about 2M PPH and 40M balance without skin or so. I began to laugh within myself. So their argument continues and I cannot take their novice character again. I had to step in and explain the project to them. The other guy who was having 2M PPH was saying what’s mine and I had to show him my account and was like wow! We had an intellectual discussion about cryptocurrency, and other and thereafter
I had to teach him some basics and inform him about other promising projects in cryptocurrency.

In essence, telegram is now making people united irrespective of our differences in race, tribe, age, religion and so on. Everybody wants to share in the airdrop money even without knowing what it is.

Taping to earn is now what a majority of everybody does nowadays and they are getting more addicted. I have seen the younger ones tapping and the older ones tapping their phone screen all because of better days.

Tapping to Earn is one thing, and getting useful results is another thing. My advice is that, not all project will cook at the end and people should not waste their time on projects without a good roadmap and white paper.

Nigeria's Flood Management Challenges: A Call to Action

Our Country Nigeria is facing a lot of problems as we speak. A few days ago, one of my episodes in the writing challenge talks about Waste generation and how Rural and Urban migration is one of the contribution factors. I also strengthen the consequences of how people in our society mismanage waste and what is likely to occur thereafter. I tried to admonish the government to set up thorough enforcement through the Environmental Health Practitioner and how Health Education is also important. It is also worthwhile to ensure that all standards are in place for good sanitation and to prevent further environmental hazards.

All these being said, after my navigation towards the detriments of this illlact and ill-behavior of the people and the government finds no fault in it or behaves nonchalantly, then consequences like such, which occur in borno that submerge an entire city will persist if further action are not taken.It is worthwhile that, proper drainage should be provided that will contain the volume of water that is allocated to it.

This will prevent flooding and other potential flooding. Flooding should not be an environmental problem nowadays. We should be prepared for flooding and this should not be associated as a result of man's activity or refusal to ensure all procedures are met.

I really hope to draft more but there is no time.

Taking a Break: Recharging for Better Content

Today was a hectic day for me and indeed, I was occupied throughout. I was a bit stressed up and tired and my body aches. I will not be able to share any story today but to seek your comments on those that have been shared earlier.

Meanwhile, The best time which I used to have an avenue to pitch a succinct content is during weekend alone, when I will not be busy doing anything.

The State of Injustice in Nigeria: A Threat to Democracy

The Nigeria state is retrogressing everyday and lots of unprecedented issues have begun to be unraveling nowadays. The government does not really take the people seriously and the people due to cowardice and nonchallant attitude have decided to stay mute and watch as the labor of their heroes past begin to be in vain.

There are many pertinent issues which has arise and in a twinkle of an eye but the people are only reactionary and complainant, instead of profering absolute solution to the status quo.

The rate at which the bourgeois are oppressing the people is alarming and there is nothing that they can do. The judicial Arm which is the yard stick for truth, justice, fairness and equity, and also known for a place where a common man can have hope or prospects is now filled with officers with self interest.

The Left wing are trying their best to make the country a workable one, but the bourgeois are using the force to oppress, intimidate and to harass the less privileged. This is done to suppress their voice and to subdued them from calling the so called genrotocrats into order and to accountable to their manifesto and promises.

I just received the news that the Nigeria Labour Congress President was arrested by DSS and was granted bail earlier today. It is not news that He was invited by the Nigeria police Force some weeks back, Only for me to read about the unfortunate information that occurred today. While this is done on the Labor Leader. It is worthwhile to say, there are some individuals that are languishing inside prison due to their involvement and participation in the End Bad Governance protest.

All this form of injustice is a threat to our democracy and it is denting the image of our country and some ties that we have with some other countries.

We as a people need to come together as one and stand for a just society.

The Power of Perseverance: Pushing Through Writing Challenges

My September challenge is very different from the June challenge as it contains content that are succinct. I have try to ensure it is worthwhile and not bored like the before. I am trying to ensure, all content are original and its talk about life and our environment.

I had a very busy day at office and I was unable to pen a content. In the evening, while I was about drafting something to pitch, there was heavy rainfall and I was already on low battery.

I do not want to skip the writing challenge at all, because I am trying to avoid all odds.

Rural-Urban Migration and Waste Generation: A Growing Concern

What man gives to the environment is what they are getting back from the environment and this is as a result of their activities. The curiosity of developing newer technologies is posing danger to the natural environment and there are no regulations to curb those danger that they pose to the environment.

There is high rate of migration from the rural community to the urban center nowadays, as everyone wants to be associated with industrialization.

The effect of migration from the rural to the urban center varies a lot. I will be extending my concentration on the amount of waste generated and how they pose risk to the environment.

The waste generated in the urban centre is increasing in volume and they are not managed sanitarily, In particular solid waste. This form of waste generated via households are mismanaged by the people and they dump those refuse directly into the water bodies, Inside the drainage system while raining is falling, open dumps, or open burning.

This method practises by them is capable of causing potential flooding through blockage of the drainage system by preventing free flow of water and hindering proper passage thereby allowing water to submerged buildings and other structures.

In some states, there are waste managers assigned to each community for proper disposal of waste so generated by some people’s desires to manage their refuse insanitary. While, some may complain of inability to dispose of their refuse properly due to poor road networks that hinder the refuse truck from visiting their community, some will still desire to dump directly while rain is falling.

In some states, there are compact vehicles made available by the government to collect and transport waste for safe disposal which is now misuse in some states. The people in the community will prefer to litter the road median with different sorts of waste in non approved sites and this creates a nuisance to the community.

While the Environmentalist needs to work on health education by informing the people on the best method to use in managing their refuse. This is important to ensure that proper enforcement is made to arrest those culprits using their waste to pollute the water bodies and dump refuse on the road median.

My day was very stressful and this affect the content which I intend to publish today. I had the opinion of writing about some factors causing detriment to our environment but as fate will have it. I will be unable to do so.

In light of this, let me walk you through how I spent my day.

Last night, I was researching some cryptocurrency projects and this made me sleep late.
I had to wake up late to balance up my sleeping hours, upon waking up, I realized that I had woken up late as I needed to step out for sabbath services. I quickly rush to do the basic house chores before my departure for church.

I arrive at the synagogue minutes after the service had begun and thereafter, it was a glorious and remarkable service as today coincides as the first sabbath of the month.
The service was a special one that we finished the service late unlike our usual time, which we all the congregants enjoyed.

I got back home and I continue battling with my TikTok research and practical. This took my time and I was able to talk about the topic that I have in my mind.

Tomorrow is another day as I will continue to write to you.

From Complaints to Solutions: A New Approach to Social Change

My June writing challenge includes some content that is affecting our society which I was unable to justify further due to some circumstances. I will be furthering those discussions as I continue this new journey.

Our Society continues to get rotten everyday due to our individual contribution. We have developed a perpetual attitude of complaints without providing solutions to those basic problems. How do we condemn a status quo and fail to provide a long lasting solution. How do we identify a problem and also, on the same hand be part of those contributing to the problem.

Everybody wants to be a boss of his own and in so doing they have forgotten if such an act or behavior is enabled by everyone there will be no one to be partakers. We need to think outside the box and engage in activities accordingly after minding the concept behind it.

When a goal is set into one's mind. There is a need for robust thinking and research about what one thinks of. In order to actualize the goal. Preliminary studies should be conducted and other effects of the goal.
There are 5 factors which I believe will be of help in actualizing one's goal with an acronym of S.M.A.R.T

While dreaming of actualizing our goal, we should be Specific about what we are about to do and research more about the concept in order not to be driven away during the process of setting it. If proper care is not taken, one will continue to jump here and there before accomplishing the goal. It is noteworthy that, one can actually add more goals or ambition into their career but it is necessary to be specific to One goal and after it is actualized one can proceed further.

The next Factor is Measurable and on this end, when settling out one's goal, there is a need to make sure that they are evaluated accordingly, to know the kind of resources needed and how to go about it. To look at where to get those resources and how they will not be a problem in the near future. To compare and contrast, if those resources will be valid for long-term or short-term and to ascertain the quantity of resources and their availability.

The next Factor to be considered is making sure such a goal is attainable while dreaming of a concept there are some that might be a problem while making pursuit over them and in the process of development, they might end up crashing due to inability to attain them. There is a need to checkmate what one is reminiscing about and to checkmate his or her portfolio in terms of finances to see if such a goal is attainable within their power or if they seek out financial assistance.

A concept must be Realistic in order to ensure future sustainability. When a goal is not realistic then, it is prone to destruction sooner or later. It should be a concept that is practicable and available for the people, also having an effect on society towards its sustainability.
*Time Bound* is the last concept that must be included in our preliminary studies before a goal is actualized. It includes one's ability to manage time and resources to avoid procrastination and to ensure being open and accountable to the receiving end.

While trying to set up our goal, it is pertinent to note those factors and not see others as our enemy in order to copy their business. We should do background analysis and not just be an enemy but to look at their loopholes and how to amend it with our own integration. The beauty of competition is to ensure different ideas are used in settling up our goal and that, our concept is Specific, Measurably, Attainable, Realistic and Time bound. When we do this, we will surely progress in all we do.

House Rent in Nigeria has taken another context nowadays, the rates at which house rent is increasing is inversely proportional to the earning of the people. The House owner in a viz of landlord, landlady and caretaker are increasing their house rent without considering the renters.

The government is not making any step to avert this garrulous asperity being orchestrated by the house owner or caretakers. Most especially, in this age of Agent or Caretakers as middleman or middle woman that serves as an intermediary between the owner and the renters. They will list all sorts of minding provoking fees for renters while making the space available for them. They will state the fees into various categories with enormous charges. Such that, the agent fee will be half of the basic house rent and they will also list other fees such as agreement, lawyer fee, caution fees among others.

In recent times, the house rent is not reasonable anymore for public workers due to the perpetual increments in the rentage fee. In developing cities of some part of Nigeria, the house rent fee is now ranging from #500,000 to #1.5million meanwhile, the minimum wage is pegged at #40,000 or thereabouts as the new minimum wage is yet to be feasible or implemented in some states.
In a sane society, there are some factors that need to be considered before the regular hike in rentage fees such as road networks, infrastructural development, internet network, electricity, and other amenities alongside affordability. The house rent fee is no longer affordable by people that are salary earners or basic entrepreneurs or traders.

These agents or Caretakers also established discrimination in selecting renters talking about tribe, ethnic, religion and some will even ask for religious denomination, they will be dishing out unreasonable and unrealistic clause to renters and other forms of rules and regulations to compels the renters.
While some of the agreement terms are reasonable, it is noteworthy to say, some of them are not as they are just there to subject the renter on the caretaker or landlady or landlord shadow.

In addition part of the land law or property law are not being effective nowadays as those agents do not really care for the renters well-being or comfortability, what they really need is to receive their portion and that is all. In a case whereby the renter has to complain to them about a facility that is in a deplorable state, they will not respond to the call.

It is time for the government to make amendments on laws pertaining to renting an apartment to regulate perpetual increments and bogus fees by agents and caretakers and to ensure they are accountable to the facility leased out as at when needed.

The current economic situation in Nigeria is retrogressing and the government are not doing anything to resuscitate this development. There is inflation in the price of goods and services and the government are not doing anything visible to resit this harsh economic situation.

In the month of August, the people had days of rage for 10 consecutive days to call on the government to end bad governance and to make the country a workable one. Where the youth unemployment issues will be sorted, the minimum wage will be upgraded to living wage, the electric categories into different bands will be abolished among other factors therein.

The government on their part has responded to the protest claim but till date, the situation still linger on the public neck. There is no visible changes, the price of goods and services continue to increase, most especially, the price of PMS, and this is one of the determining factor in the price of goods and services. Despite the fact that, the price of the good and service is scarce, the populace still find it difficult to purchase PMS as we now have several queues in the filling station. Although, this long queue is as a result of difference in price of Premium motor spirit (PMS) as there are some filling station that are selling at average price and others at exorbitant prices.

On the side of the people, the traditional rulers of some community have begin to banned and suspend local committee and market association as they see it as a tool determining the price of goods and services. They did not mind the concept of demand and supply. Well, some said their approach is sustainable and it might works provided other composite good and service demands are also workable.

The situation continues to be tense in our society as banditry cum kidnapping is now rampant nowadays more than before and has become a thing that bandits now show it off via TikTok and other social media without any repercussion. Meanwhile, the Gestapo instead of cubbing such act of terrorism and disturbance of peace in the society decided to witchunt investigative journalist and other freedom fighters.
Although, much accolades is given to the security operatives for their intense combat with those alleged terrorist and bandit cum kidnappers but much is expected from them and that, they should not be used as a tool to oppressed the average citizen or to intimate people while calling out public officers to fulfil their said manifesto to the people.

Nigeria will one day become a country of our own, provided we all contribute to her development and we shun all act of discrimination and we play our role accordingly. If not, two wrong can not make a right.
Untill then, we will continue to complain and have nothing to show off.

Overcoming Writing Setbacks: My September Writing Challenge Journey by Anwo Sunday Adedeji

The existence of humanity is full of challenges, and every time we face them, we need to struggle to get it fixed. We should not allow our challenges to overcome us as an individual. We need to checkmate ourselves on why we fail in the first instance, look out for loopholes, find out the necessary solution, and provide measures to avoid future reoccurrence.

In the month of June, I initiated a writing challenge but due to some unforeseen circumstances, I was unable to complete the challenge. I was so bothered and bitter that the episode did not end well as I have lots on my mind to unleash to the public. The writing challenge is to renew the writer in me and to encourage others.

I am committed to beginning a new writing this September and God willing, it shall be completed. I am of the opinion that, it will be tough and rough but I will make sure I escape through till the end.

This writing challenge will talk about the content of originality and will cover diverse areas of life, and sometimes friction or comics. I will ensure it is not always lengthy in order not to bore the readers.

Meanwhile, I appeal to everyone to please comment and give their opinions or reactions to them as this will help me to make necessary corrections or adjustments to other contents.

The battle has begun, and Insha Allah, it will be completed till the last day of September.
