What the guy needs is solution(s) to his problem. Like someone said try and use a female trap you may be lucky. It worked for me when my wife's phone was stolen.

these fraudsters are now smarter than they used to be. A female trap won't work no more. I believe the number he has of the guy will be used for scam transactions only so when a female jumps in his whatsapp to initiate a chat, he will know something is fishy
