Education › Re: 6 Embarrassing Things That Can Happen To You In Class. by IamforGod: 9:15am On Sep 30, 2015 |
MegMich: We all have had embarrassing moments in our lives.
Some of them may have happened at home or out on the streets but the worst ones are always reserved for the classroom.
Here is a list of some of the common classroom embarrassments that you or people you know may have faced.
1. Getting caught while sleeping
This is on top of our embarrassing stories simply because all of us faced it at least once. Be it a hang over, or you read throughout the night or simply because the lecture is too boring, what’s awkward is getting caught by the lecturer while you are happily dreaming and drooling.
2. Confidently answering the question wrongly
Sometimes the teacher asks a question and you answer it like a boss, thinking that you know exactly what you’re talking about. But as it turns out, you showed that confidence for nothing, because surprise-surprise – you couldn’t be more wrong! And the teacher then proceeds to make an example out of you in order to illustrate how wrong you are.
3. Getting caught while passing chits
Passing chits was the most common method of conversation in classrooms in the pre-mobile era. Thinking that you’re too smart to get caught, you pass chits, when suddenly a hand grabs that chit and the teacher then reads it out for the benefit of the entire class. Leaving you mortified in front of the entire class!
4. Farting loudly
After a long stint in the toilet hours before lecture or probably you think everything is fine in the world just then, your body decides to play a joke on you and you rip a loud one right in the middle of the class. What’s worse is when it stinks and everyone knows you did it.
5. Wardrobe malfunction
You are highly mistaken if you thought that wardrobe malfunctions were just limited to red carpets or fashion runways. Most classrooms have seen more than their fair share of trousers ripping, buttons popping, and bra straps snapping randomly. For some reason, these situations have an uncanny way of happening only when you are giving presentations in front of the whole class. And if you thought that nothing can make it more embarrassing, think again. Imagine any of these happening in front of your crush!
6.Walking in late for a lecture
Just when you think you've strolled in unnoticed, the lecturer decides to embarrass you by popping a question just to tell the class he can't be fooled. Worse off, you fail the question and he still sends you out of the class amid insults.
Looking back at some of these situations may have made you want to crawl under a rock and just stay there for eternity. But now these incidents are long gone and you can afford to laugh at them. Even we want to laugh with you, so please do share with us some of your embarrassing moments. For ladies blood stained butt |

Diamondqueen: So I know you'll tell me school first and face your books. Yes, I know all that. I'll be 17 in two months. I'm intelligent and i do very well in school. Most of you guys have passed through my stage and I hope you understand that this is the stage where you start having feelings for the opposite sex. So I hope this doesn't sound like I'm a bad girl or something like that. I don't want you to say things like "what is this generation turning into?" because I'm very sure it happened in the previous generation and there are evidences such as the single mums that i see that got pregnant then. Long story short, there is a boy i like and he likes me too and he just asked me out. I made it very clear to him that we are not going to get intimate and he is very okay with it. I know you'll say it can happen by accident but i know that the only place we can get intimate is at a lonely place so all I'll have to do is to avoid it. The thing now is that do you think getting into a relationship at 16 is quite okay. Mind you, I'll soon be 17. From your write up I see u are intelligent! But I doubt if you are wise, cos if u are u wnt reply every comment u'll read comments and make use of the good advice there. On ur topic: I can read comments like 'u've made up your mind' my dear a word is enough for the wise. You better listen to good advice and stay clear of guys. Pls you can av male friends and learn from them do not date any no matter the chemistry between u 2. I am nt ur family member neither do I know u but am speaking to u as a sister! DO NOT GO INTO A RELATIONSHIP YET!!! You think u know all my dear u know nothing! A word is enough for the wise. |

Dehinde just has so much love from the street. And arewa is my best she has a powerful voice and can blend into any song. My guess is arewa or the boy that returned dunno his name! Never the less I wish them all the best |

Music/Radio › Re: Top Five Hiphop Lyricist In Nigeria Right Now-Opinion by IamforGod: 10:15am On Sep 17, 2015 |
Djicemob: Dont get too worked up about the list, its my personal opinion and verdict as we all have our various preference and views towards these things. This is not a list of the greatest nigerian rappers or lyricist of all time or richest or even the most popular,it simply focus on recent times and appearance based on true lyricism and hiphop acclaim of the 2014/2015 year mark.
5.Chyn/mojeed Finding a rapper to occupy the number 5spot wasnt a smooth ride,as a matter of fact it was even easier picking a no1 than the number 5 on this list.Reasons? Ok! Alot of rappers kept running through my mind, poe, tec, loose kaynon, sinzu, falz etc but i had to settle for the duo of chyn and mojeed as i couldn't pick either of the two, plus the simple reason i pick the two is not far from the fact that these two MCs have not been seriously compromised into the Nigerian cliche of gban gban di di(commercial junkz) and they have been keeping it real to a reasonable extent so far.Hey! Dont get me wrong,Tec is good but he is easily out-shined by his SDC colleague-Ghost,falz is a commercialized hiphop artiste in my opinion, and i have not really heard from poe lately. If you have not heard about these duo i suggest you hit google and you would not be disappointed.
4.Ghost He is one half of the SDC duo but stands out as the lyrical power house of the group, his metaphors, punchlines, wordplay and story telling is quite remarkable,he literally killed a track on jesse jagz royal niger company album,a track titled the case.Ghost have been killing joints right before and after the jesse jagz album so you shouldn't be surprised ghost made the list.
3.Boogey He could easily make number one on the list but for the fact that his presence has not been felt deep in the nigerian industry is a factor working against this talented lyricist,he is been slept on for too long in the industry that anytime his name is mentioned you might be almost forced to think he is a new comer.I guess his management needs to work harder or better still he should seek a better label to maximize his talent.
2.Vector This man right here is king and he has proven it times and times without number,he has been compared with the greatest-talking about MI and even modenine himself, heck! He has been arguably rated above these nuccas in some quarters, only history would judge that so lets leave it at the middle.Vec was off the scene and he is back to take what is rightly his and he aint even joking about it,first of releasing a dope mixtape(A7) and then goin further to release the monster hit(Kingkong) with several remixes and covers to its credit and then goin even more further to cement his legacy as the rap king by breaking his own previously set record for rapping a lengthy 2hrs plus against his previous 1hr 30mins in one nonstop. He is good like that.Nuff said. #Respect
1.Jesse Jagz He left chocolate city, released two albums and became naija's only true lyricist in the absence of the chairman MI,Vec and modenine,he took his only golden opportunity to get up there which is really impressive considering the fact that not not everybody could achieve that even with the backing of a strong record label,Jagz went on to improve his game, established his own record label and restored sanity to Rap as we have never seen.He did not only create a movement with his new sound,he created a nation on the strength of his two volume albums-Thy nations come which tilted towards the reggae/hiphop sound we love to love and the volume 2(The royal niger company) which was for core hiphop fans, sealing the deal of his status as number one on any rap list reviewing the 2014/2015 year period. No long stories, jesse jagz is the greatest for now, just maybe when MI finally drops his illegal music 3 mixtape or when modo bounces back or when vector keeps the pace the way he is goin we might be forced to think differently but for now i am forced to say its Jagz or nothing,no record has matched his royal niger company till this moment.Sadly jagz nation is no more but legacy of the work under the nation lives.
God bless ya'll for reading. Cc:Lalasticlala Pls phenom should be on that list! Vector is better than Jesse jags to me, I know he's prud but he's actually good! And eva is nt a bad idea either she's good. Yoruba side seriki is good too. Thanks |
