Wrong. Both Peter Obi and/or Atiku will defeat Tinubu at the polls, but Peter Obi has a higher chance of defeating Tinubu than Atiku.

Peter Obi defeated Tinubu in a 3-horse race in 2023 and will defeat him again in 2027.

Crime › Nigerians Among Four Foreigners Deported From India Over Drug Peddling by iamfraud(op):
Four foreign nationals who were illegally residing in India and allegedly involved in a drug peddling network were deported by Hyderabad police to their respective countries.

The individuals deported include two Nigerian nationals, Maxwell Anthony Izuchukwu and Chinaza Nnanna Vivian, as well as Tanzanian national Mwajuma Almasi Masisila and Sudan national Ahmed Hamid Abujabr Hamid.
Mwajuma Almasi Masisila, a native of Tanzania, came to Hyderabad and lived in Banjara Hills on a tourist visa. She was associated with individuals involved in drug peddling. Her known associates include Chinaza Nnanna Vivian, Maxwell Anthony Izuchukwu, and Ahmed Hamid," police stated.
These individuals were involved in drug trafficking activities in both Bengaluru and Hyderabad," they added.
Officials noted that although no drugs were found in their possession at the time of their arrest, the four were unable to produce valid passports, which were found to have expired. Their details were subsequently verified with the Foreigners Regional Registration Office (FRRO). It was confirmed that they overstayed their visas and were involved in drug-related activities.

They had entered India using various types of visas, including tourist, medical, and student categories," police said. Police confirmed that all four have been blacklisted from re-entering India.

Crime › 2 Nigerians Hid Drugs In Readymade Clothes, Arrested In Bengaluru by iamfraud(op): 11:37am On Jul 08, 2025
Two Nigerians were arrested and 2.8kg of MDMA crystals, 200 grams of hydro ganja, mobile phones and weighing machines were seized, worth Rs 4.5 crore.

Police said the two would dress as guards and claim to be working as security staff at Kempegowda International Airport (KIA). The duo would pack the drugs in readymade clothes and sell them to sub-peddlers and consumers, mostly software engineers and college students.

The accused are Alasonye Peter Obioma, 35, and Sunday Windom, alias John Victor Ambomo, 28. Inspector Dileep Kumar KH received a tip-off Sunday about the two staying in a rented house at Addiganahalli, Bangalore North taluk, since two months and peddling drugs.

Kumar alerted his seniors and raided the house belonging to one Ramaiah, where the duo was staying.

During the raid, the police team found MDMA crystals, hydro ganja, two weighing machines, small polythene/plastic pouch bags, seven mobile phones, and Rs 2 lakh in cash. A case has been registered against the Nigerians under NDPS Act and Foreigners Act.

Superintendent of police (Bengaluru Rural) CK Baba told media the accused were involved in selling drugs to college students, software engineers and other customers.

The accused concealed the drugs in cardboards used to pack shirts. They confessed to have sourced the drugs from other states but didn't reveal the names of the main peddlers or their locations. They were staying in other states and in Mangaluru after their visa expired before moving to Bengaluru.

Police said they chose to rent the house in Addiganahalli because it was close to multiple private colleges and universities, making it easy for them to trace students who consume drugs and sell to them.

Crime › Nigerian Man Held With Cocaine In Mumbai Claims Innocence, Says Bag Was Planted by iamfraud(op): 5:57pm On Jul 07, 2025
Mumbai: A 39-year-old Nigerian national was arrested by the Worli unit of the Anti-Narcotics Cell (ANC) on Saturday for allegedly possessing 200 grams of cocaine worth Rs 2 crores in Mumbai's Malad area.

However, the accused, Frank Chibuzar Nandi, has claimed that the narcotics were planted on him and that he has been falsely implicated in the case.

According to police, acting on a specific tip-off, officers laid a trap near PJ Colony, Orlem Marve Road in Malad, and intercepted Nandi, who was reportedly carrying a bag. Upon searching the bag, police said they recovered 200 grams of white powder suspected to be a narcotic substance. A field drug test confirmed it to be cocaine.
Police also seized a Honda City car from Nandi's possession.

A panchnama was drawn on the spot, and Nandi was produced before the Holiday Court on Sunday. While the police sought custody for further investigation, the accused told the court that he had been framed.

"The police simply arrested me, planted the bag on me, took photos and videos, and later said the seizure was drugs. I completely deny this," Nandi said in open court when asked if he had any complaints.

The court advised Nandi to engage a lawyer, but the accused requested to first speak to his wife before appointing legal counsel.

The magistrate then directed police to facilitate a phone call to his wife.

Nandi remains in custody while further investigation is underway.

A panchnama was drawn on the spot, and Nandi was produced before the Holiday Court on Sunday. While the police sought custody for further investigation, the accused told the court that he had been framed.
