police on night patrol duty arrested two Nigerian nationals from a Powai residence after spotting one on a Telangana-registered two-wheeler.

Chidibube Namdi Ije (31) and Promise Andy Onana (39) were found with cocaine and MD drugs worth Rs19.45 lakh. The arrests occurred on Wednesday after authorities discovered their presence in a rented flat at Chaitanya Nagar, Powai. A Nigerian couple, the official tenants, had permitted the suspects to use the premises for their drug operations. The suspects had been using the flat for two-and-a-half years. The Nigerian couple had obtained the property through proper documentation and registered their details with Powai police station, effectively concealing their associates' activities.
