Hmmm... Now ur getting close that's why i didn't recommend a relationship but just mingle with girls he finds attractive on a more physical level without emotional attachment to help him understand more. Lolzz... Okay from the op i could tell the guy in question isn't really used to being with ladies in a certain way. And believe it or not the universe has a way of playing with us but understanding her makes our lives a lot easier & less complicated.. I think its time for him to get out of his shell & get in the rough to understand the different nature of women there is. I understand your salient points but, that your approach is still somehow.

From the way the OP stated the kind of brother she has, it's obvious that he's one of those guys that aren't really experienced with ladies so, even if he goes into another relationship without knowing how to behave with ladies, he might still be taken for granted.

Truth be told, that "more radical approach" of yours might work for some people but, know that it's just temporary.

A very reasonable guy will still get home after all those and still have that vacuum of not being happy. It's just like a person that drinks alcohol because he's not happy, after the alcohol clears off, his unhappiness is still waiting for him at one corner.

Enter a new relationship quickly and take revenge on the innocent lady . I don't think that's the best option.

Firstly, I think he should think about where he made a mistake in his past relationship, try and work on that mistake and become a better person.

Secondly, he should do whatever pleases him (like listening to music, go out maybe alone or with friends) and make himself happy coz one's happiness apart from God, lies in his or her hands and not in any lady's or guy's hands.

Thirdly, he should give it time, he'll get over everything soonest, time will definitely heal it up. I've been there before and I even came out stronger.
