antispexish:What pains me most in this story is the fact that Anti is kinda a weakling. He always gets beat up. It'll be interesting to see him go macho for once. beat up someone for a change. |
pedrilo:I'm not asking or begging for help or connection. It's just funny the way they're making it seem like the guy is most brilliant 24 year old in Nigeria. I'm impressed with his achievements though |
I'm impressed too but how many of you know his background. 80% of Nigerian youths come from poor families who struggle to successfully see them through Secondary School and Polytechnic. And many don't have the right connection that will take them places. Truth is, there are thousands out there who are geniuses and more brilliant than this dude but we don't hear of them or know them because there's no one to help them achieve their dreams ( I am a prime example). So,while I am happy for this guy, people should stop assuming he's the only youth in Nigeria that's brilliant, serious and intelligent. Yes he has those qualities, but he also had the most important thing; he had the help he needed to achieve this feat. |
Please I would like a list of the best cheapest tertiary institutions in Nigeria. Abeg I no want for North and East ooo... ![]() |
I'm loving your write up bro. Keep up the good work. You're the boss.. no sorry AntiBoss ![]() |
Seriously, it is painful that in a country that we call our own and as children of the soil, some dollop headed, uncircumcised Indians can come here and treat us as slaves. The working personnel in the aforementioned company are in need of serious help. The working hours are bad ( 12 hours with a 45 minutes break) The wages are too low (#14, 000) Some Indian bosses would force the girls to sleep with them or be sacked. There's no provision for drinkable water. The water provided is the same water used to clean the machines. It's dirty and contaminated. It costs #10,400 to transport to and from the factory in a month and thats the least approximation. Graduates and skilled professionals are being paid peanuts. Compared to the amount of work they do. The lowest paid Indian earns at least #60,000 and when you add the 10,000 weekly allowance, it's #100,000. Meanwhile the people doing the hardwork are being paid far less Help is needed immediately. People can't keep living like this. And that's why we at Nairaland and fellow Nigerians call on the Ogun State Government and the National Labour Congress to visit the company and do something about the situation. |
