bxcode:Hmmm. Spot on bro. Everything you have suggested, all he had done. But this he got in response: we cannot do beyond our power. We shall be glad to do that when have the power to. I tell you: God is my witness, my friend, a degree holder from one of Nigeria's best universities, is very dedicated to his work and stands out among his peers. To this fact even his boss had once testified. I can say this because I've known him all my life! Thanks anyway for your contribution. It is invaluable! |
Juxtified:Thanks man. You have made a valid point. However, what if we look at his case as cited above: his current job though PT allows him not enough time to go in search of more opportunities. |
Thanks man. But he thinks it's because he's still at the job that he's unable to fervently commit in energy and time his job search struggle. Thanks anyway. more suggestions would be greatly appreciated. |
Hi Nairalanders, Pls kindly advise an intimate friend of mine. He wants to quit his job... Not that he has got a better offer o. But he feels it is his inability to quit that has enslaved him to his current job. These are his reasons for his decision to quit: 1. at his current job he is underpaid.... a peanut that hardly sustains him....as a result even nearly 30 he's unable to keep a girlfriend....no cash to spend! 2. the job neither adds value to him as a person nor to his career as any interview he attends he's told that he's not fit cos he lacks experience in the field for which he has passion and to which he had applied 3. he's scared that he's spent a year plus on his job now and might spend more with nothing to show for it in savings or benefits as the pay is peanuts although he works his ass off, of course being a hard working person 4. he feels his talents and ambitions are looking unreal each day as he is not getting younger even though his dream was to marry early. If you care to know, my friend works part time. I would appreciate your sincere comments. Who knows, you might change not only his situation but also that of many in his shoes. Thanks. |
Oh what a pity! While I feel deeply sorry for this guy, I however wonder why he had chosen to keep his money, such huge amount of money should be kept in the bank. As sad as the story is, there is a lesson for all of us: no condition is permanent. What then remains for him now is how kind and generous he'd been before this reality: if he's been unkind to those around him especially his immediate family, getting out of this might be a little far-fetched. If otherwise, then good luck to him. What a trial! Peace. |
Hey bro, Let's get it straight here: if you really are sincere about solving this problem of yours, please kindly do these two things: 1. Quit watching porn immediately 2. Fight your reclusiveness: hang out always, be productively engaged always. With this fervently and sincerely pursued, I bet, my friend, it's bye bye to your sorry situation. Peace. |

Hi Android gurus in the house: I need your help. I can no longer use my earpiece on my phone (Tecno R7) after a repair on the hanging/tripping off and on. When inserted the phone does not detect it; and this means for me: no listening to the radio and soul-inspiring lectures. Please, I'd appreciate a solution on here without the need to take it down to Opebi again (tayad of frequenting that place!) Your reply would be hugely appreciated. Thanks generously. |
