Kur17: For sure Nigeria is another failure story, 4years ago Nigeria had 9× bigger GDP than Kenya, In 2014 Nigeria had a GDP of $568, Kenya was $61....
Only bigger economies than Kenya, namely Morocco and Egypt's are doing fairly well, the rest we may catch up with them if the trend persist... You might also note that Egypt grew by 5pc GDP and Morocco by 3.5 pc last year which clearly shows the gap is kinda shrinking. |

samsobo24: so Kenyan Airways, the only big dream of Kenya and your biggest Airway can't be linked to aviation.
Because I said that its making loss and you succumbed that it has no link to aviation
The JKIA being the only constantly used airport by Kenyans with your self acclaimed big tourism industry still handles lesser passengers than The MMIA.
See Nigeria's newest airways and look at its fleet of Modern aircrafts.
The MMIA is even bigger
Kenyans are maybe lords in Kenya and not to nigerians You kidding, right?

Ibrahimanis: Take away Mombasa port and poof, Kenya is gone. Maybe they will start using Tanzania's port. For a fee of course. When will y'all wake up from slumber land the SGR is not even complete yet, and the first phase has been in operation for just 1 year. So in layman's language, how tf do you think kenya has failed to repay the loan. 2nd, no freaking evidence that supports your claim even if wr fail to repay the loan. Not a signature was made... You heard the president. And 3rd of all, y'all need to get schooled about these loans some even go to 50 & 100 years to repay |

Ibrahimanis: Even though Kenyans might not want to believe, I've heard/read many times that Kenya is just filling a "void" until Ethiopia comes of age. Ethiopia is the real regional power in East Africa. It just have to get it's sh*t right. Why are you not considerate of kazikazi's health |

tylann: As for now kenya electricity connection is 75%
Nigerians are still lining up at filling stations buying fuel for their generators an average kenyan doesn't know how a generator works, let alone the price. I mean I don't think I saw a generator the whole of last year, let alone use it. Except maybe for the industrial generators |

bantudra: am not sure about that....
how much electricity does kenya produce on paper....?? Look dude, it doesn't work like that. Just because you love your darling Tanzania and hate Kenya, it doesn't really change the facts, however much you lamba their lilo I'll give you a very basic example :You should know that Dar is 3 times the size of Nairobi and is the most populous city in E.A. Now study that map and you'll find that dar is only comparable to Kampala... |

Kazikazi: The same applies to Tanzania, the low populated areas don't get same exposure by satellites image!
The bottom line is this, Kenya is darker comparing to TZ. Perhaps you'll believe world bank because we cook data

Kazikazi: That's how you defend your poverty. If,as you guys claim, 85 of Kenyans are connected,so this lit up areas hosts 85% of Kenyans population? Yes,kenyans dont live in Tsavo. And elephants don't need electricity. This guy need to be taken slowly |

Jonraid: Check the lit areas on the map, then again check where most Kenyans live.Do you see a correlation?
On my first year at the varsity,I did 'Geography of development as one of my units'
Demography and development are two inseperable terms to human geographers.
The lit up areas in the satellite map confirm to this statement. My argument is closed! Where people are clustered together you'll find some sort of development as opposed in areas where the population density is way lower. You could have first studied Kenya's demography before showing us your idiocy! They want us to light up deserts and Tsavo |

68816419: we never listed it as slums but the international bodies did.
"Kariobangi is a low-income residential estate in northeastern Nairobi, Kenya. It consists of both apartments and slum-type dwellings. It is split into two parts, Kariobangi North and Kariobangi South. The northern part was constructed first, with first buildings built in 1961."
ORIGIN OF KARIOBANGI HISTORY LESSON,,,
According to historians, Kariobangi used to be a place weed smoking colonialists used to hang out in the 1940s and 50s. These colonisers were mean and didn't like sharing their weed, pass the kushungpeng was not encouraged, so their key rule was Carry Your own Bangi.
Slowly, they started asking each other, ''Are you going to carry your own bangi?''
Since the African tongue found ''Carry your own bangi'' hard to say, they started calling it Kariobangi Nice, tell us more about these as well Agege Ajegunle Amukoko Badia Bariga Bodija Ijeshatedo/Itire Ilaje Iwaya Makoko Mushin Oke-Offa Babasale Somolu |
