He was just foolish.. He already made a fortune from politics and would have left like a boss.. He could have been respected just like OBJ but he chose to be a tool for this demonic APC.. He was severely used and dumped like a woman tongue.

Sports / Re: Lionel Messi Celebrates His 33rd Birthday Today by Iammelvin(m): 1:19pm On Jun 24, 2020
Messi is a player who statistics doesn't even start to explain is magnificence.
Even in dat aspect he leaves everyone in his shadow. While we are busy celebrating someone who just had 1000 appearance he's busy having 1000 goal contribution. Some players specializes in goals, some are dribblers, some assist goals. Some are freekick specialists. But there is Messi who boss everyone in their specialized aspect of the game. And you still can't define his glory until u watch him.
Ronaldo has won numerous individual & team trophies & awards of the highest order as long as football is concerned. But Ronaldo's greatest achievement in life is the fact that he's being compared to Lionel Messi. Statistics can make them look as though they are not far apart. But after watching both of them play & u still can't see that Messi is way way ahead then you are just denying the existence of ur eyes. One only needs to score a hat trick to be considered as the goat while the other needs to win the World Cup to be called the 6oat. The fact that there is a double standard to the way we judge this guys shows that deep down inside we know who the better player is.
Not acknowledging that Ronaldo is a top top athlete in world football then only the gods can help u, But if u can't see dat Lionel Messi is the greatest footballer of all time then even the gods can't help u.
Messi doesn't set the bar.
Messi is the bar.
Happy birthday GOAT

You have to exercise patient when dealing with women

If you continue to develop lose interest easily in relationships, you will not have the opportunity to learn from it

It will get to a stage, your mind will tell you that relationships doesn't want it

The worst is tgat you can't remain with out a woman for the rest of your life

Women are full of attitudes that will scare you, but the ability to remain in the relationship and learn is your key to succeed the next relationship

Hmm.. My mind has already gotten to that stage.. Thanks for your opinion

Since yhu don't...let her go..

All these girls going back to their ex and collecting material things, just as you spend money on her and expects to enter her london in return, so is her ex's intention as well. That's how it works, exes are great oppurtunists

In as much as I personally think one shouldn't tie the other down, depriving them of chances to get what they like or getting married yet i still think you should forget about women now and hustle bro. Try again when you're more balanced

Noted. Thanks for your advice smiley

Let her go or u will spend the rest of your life sniffing on her phone like a rat. Honestly i feel very angry seeing young guys like this holding onto and being clingy to girls like this. Once you see things have gone out of your terms you simply let her go and be useful to urself first.
I got no time for sniffing.. Its not a do or die affair cheesy

Bro, from what you narrated you have to let her go. You're working so go get yourself a girl above 26 years that's ready to settle down. I dont know how you guys manage to date students who, most times, are not ready for any commitment but just there for the flair , fun and whatever material benefits they can end up extracting from you. If you continue with this relationship and dont end up losing resources , time and effort I'll personally give you 100k.
Lol.. Some students are down to earth tho.. Maybe i just met the wrong one.. Thanks for your opinion.. I will lose more than the 100k you are offering me grin

But if you doubt me, give it a try and let experience deal with you as they call it the very best teacher! grin

If you were her and your 'ex' bought you a brand new phone when your boyfriend offered you none won't you accept the gift? I mean its not like you've paid her dowry.

Women always try to choose the highest "honest" bidder. And to be fair we the men do the same.

I rest my case.
I'm not totally against her accepting the gift but why lie to my face and her family? The fact that I've not married her doesnt mean I should condone acts like this while in courtship..Thanks for your opinion tho

You might actually be overacting, cos obviously from your narration this is the first time she's doing something like this.

You should watch out for how her communication with the ex is like and possibly ask her to stop.

Tell her about your fears and watch if she changes or not.

Not all exes are monsters

True tho. Not all exes are monsters

Good day nairalanders.. I hardly do this but I just want your opinions. I'll make it brief as possible.

I've been in a relationship with this girl for five months though we have known eachother for awhile now.. She told me her ex left her then for no reason so we decided to start dating.

I'm always busy with work tho I still find time for us to hang out whenever she's in town for holidays (she's a student).

Everything was going great till first week of this year.. She told me her aunt got her a phone which at a time I believed. Her previous phone has been faulty and i wanted to get her one last year but i couldn't because my company had a set back financially.

I stumbled upon her chat with a contact named 'friend' and i got to find out that the phone was bought by her ex. She even lied to her family that her former boss got it for her. I approached her and asked her why she didnt tell me the truth about the phone. She said she knew it will hurt me but she doesn't mean any harm.. She was reassuring me that she loves me that her ex just did it out of kindness..I was disappointed so I stopped communicating with her.. She left alot of messages, voicenotes and missed calls on my phone.

We all know Okafor's law..I wanna let her go so i wont waste her time, my resources and at the end get disappointed. I've been in several relationships in the past which didnt end well cuz i lose interest easily especially on matters like this..
Am I overreacting?
Your opinions are welcomed wink
