In the West, Lagos would be a swing state leaning APC, like always.

Most of the Southwest is the same; people there aren't locked into one party.

Given Lagos' demographics and all the drama around BAT, he did pretty well to get those votes.

Two more chicks hatched out of eggs a few days after I posted this. Now the hen has 12 chicks. In fact, another one hatched two days ago, but it wasn't fully formed (the head was like a bloody pulp), and it died shortly afterwards.

Yes indeed - context is everything. But having watched the whole clip, I think the bride's father genuinely sees meals cooked by a wife as a privilege. His comments throughout the entire clip reinforce this belief of his.

If he wanted to pass across the message that a smart man should help his wife when she needs help in the kitechen - he would have worded his message differently.

This is the second clip I have seen on this platform of the bride's people giving the groom a public flogging of sorts. The first one was of a bride's mother threatening the groom if he ever laid hands on his wife. Just like this bride's father, that warning wasn't made in the privacy of the bride's home in front of immediate family members only. It was done at the wedding proper. What purpose does that serve?

Not all men react calmly to this sort of beatdown. Some may react badly right there and then. Others may keep their cool for the occassion but they will be indifferent or even hostile towards their parents in law for years after the wedding.

In the end the couple will figure it out. What works for them will work for them. Comments like those of this bride's father will just end up as a completely unnecessary provocation, doing more harm than good.

These are my Noilers, not local chickens. They also free range with the local chickens. I call them Johnson and Johnson

Selling them. Although they're not as expensive as broilers, they still are good business, cos the feeding is very very minimal. An adult local hen goes for about 6k.

Right now, i'm focusing on getting their population up to like 70, then I can sell off like 50 at once. Their population is currently at 6 adults, and 7 chicks. That's 13. By the end of the month, i'm expecting at least 17 chicks from the 22 eggs on ground. That would bring their total population to 30 by month end. They increase in sort of like a geometric progression. It's really incredible to watch.
