Don't rush to do a review of a phone without going through the phone very well.

You can have app drawer by going to launcher settings, and if you can't find app drawer mode, all you have to do is, update your MIUI launcher.
You don't need to update to MIUI12.5 to do that.

If your phone runs Android 9 and above, you don't need any app to block ads. Just locate private DNS settings on your phone, choose private DNS host name, and input dnsDOTadgaurdDOTcom. Save and you won't see any ads on your device any more.

Hi, guys! Please I have about three parcels that their tracking shows they've entered Naija on the 17th, 24th, and 26th of October, but I haven't gotten a call from the post office. Should I go to my local post office and enquire about them or, should I just wait a bit more since I'm in the Eastern part of the country?

Well, battery life or SOT largely depends on usage pattern. But for a heavy user, that phone will comfortably take you through the day and you will still have enough juice before you go to bed.

On average, you will get between 10-14 hours of SOT depending on your usage pattern.

Like in the screenshot below, I'm having about 6hours plus of SOT, and my battery is still at 47%, and that's because I mostly used the phone outdoors, with brightness at maximum, plus using the camera too...played a bit of PES2021. If you noticed from the screenshot, I last charged at about 1am this morning and it wasn't even up to 100%

For an average user, you can squeeze out 2days out of the battery.

Hmmm... Been using this phone for three weeks now and I'm pleasantly surprised.

Coming from a phone with SD820 chip, I was very skeptical that there might be a drop in performance. I actually thought using a phone with the Helio G80 would be a step down, but I was blown away by its smooth operation. The battery life is something else.

The only aspect I'm not really okay with is the camera department, though I'm not a picture person, but I'm totally satisfied with the phone, I mean totally: performance, battery, gaming multitasking.

I usually play PES mobile on standard graphics on my former phone, but on the Redmi 9, I play it on High graphics and it's buttery smooth.

I can confidently advise anyone to get this device.
