Christianity EtcDiscerning Patterns by iamteegee(op): 10:27pm On Sep 28, 2025
Discerning Patterns

Anytime pattern is mentioned, what often comes to mind is something negative or demonic. But that is not what we teach believers. I want to show you something from Mark 6.

The disciples of Jesus had just returned from going out to preach the arrival of God’s Kingdom, healing the sick, casting demons out of the unbelievers, and many people came to them for miracles. They had gone with no wallet, yet they were fed, so they came to Jesus happy, testifying to His glory about all the things they did in His name.

While the conversation was going on, the villagers spotted them with Jesus, and before you know it, they sent signals everywhere. Soon, a multitude over 10,000 people, gathered to hear the preaching. Having stayed for a while, the disciples came to Jesus asking what they should do about the crowd. About 5,000 men were counted, not including women and children. The disciples said the people needed to be sent away because there was no food. But Jesus told them, “You give them something to eat.”

I don’t think the disciples believed Jesus heard them clearly. They had just said there was no food. But the Master said, “Feed them.” How? The disciples began grumbling: “How does He want us to feed them? It’s impossible. Even if we all work now, our wages for a season won’t be enough to buy food for all these people. Even if we had the money and the capacity, where would we find food enough to feed such a multitude?”

Think about it. Why would Jesus ask them to feed the people? Because He knew they had the capacity. It happens to the best of us. In the face of challenges, it looks like we don’t have the capacity to make it work but we do. Jesus is saying, “Do it.”

The disciples had just finished testifying about the anointing upon them, the same anointing they used to preach the Gospel, heal the sick, and cast out demons. Do you know that the same anointing is what it takes to feed the people? There is no higher anointing or “more” anointing.

You don’t grow in righteousness. Do you know that God is not more righteous than us? Because the righteousness we actually have is God’s own. We use His righteousness, meaning we don’t grow in righteousness. Righteousness is Christ in us. The same righteousness a father of faith has is the righteousness a new believer has.

So also, we don’t grow in anointing. The anointing is the Holy Spirit in us. No one has more of the Spirit and another has less of the Spirit. The operations of the anointing may differ, but there is no “more” anointing. We have the anointing. The same anointing you used, which is the Holy Spirit to preach and people believed, the same anointing you used for someone with a headache, is also the same anointing you need to feed the multitudes or solve any challenge before you. That is why Jesus told them to feed the people.

But they weren’t discerning patterns. Jesus didn’t want them to continue with their complaints and murmuring. Do you know that negative vibes and the news you feed on have the power to extract every form of faith, strength, and confidence in you? So Jesus silenced their doubts by asking, “How many loaves and fish do you have?” They said, “Five loaves and two fish.”

Jesus stood, broke it, and gave thanks. It takes foolishness to take something that defies economics, statistics, science, and calculation, and ask people to sit down like you have coolers of food. But He did. He gave it to the disciples to share, and they came back with leftovers!

Then Jesus asked them to go to the other side. While they were in the middle of the sea, even though they followed God’s will and God’s word, they still faced a storm. Sometimes you can be in God’s will and still see storms.

But the disciples, just like us, could have discerned the patterns of God’s help, God always showing up. There is no one reading this who would say they have not seen God’s pattern of love, care, supply, health, favour, mercy, supernatural protection, and provision this year. Just as the disciples had seen while preaching, healing the sick, and receiving provision in Jesus, in the face of the storm they panicked. They tried by their own strength, cried, became moody, sad, depressed, and forgot all the patterns.

The Bible records that Jesus, on the mountain, saw what they were going through. But He didn’t make any move at first, because He expected them to be able to handle it as God also expects us to handle situations, since we have the Spirit in us. They did all they could professionally, but nothing worked. They were stuck all through the night until the early hours, when Jesus came walking on the sea.

They thought they had seen a ghost and cried out. But Jesus said: “Take courage. It is I. Do not be afraid.” That’s the same thing He is saying to us right now. It is in courage that your strength is revealed not when you are sad, crying, or depressed. Do you know that giving God thanks in the face of challenges could also be termed as taking courage?

He came into the boat, and the storm died immediately. But the Bible says in Mark 6:52:

“For they had not understood about the loaves; their hearts were hardened.”

Not in rebellion, but in not discerning the patterns of God in their lives. Jesus is your source, your life, the author and finisher of your faith, the First and the Last, Jehovah Jireh.

This is why David always reminded himself in challenges, in case he forgot the patterns. David would say: “My soul, forget not His benefits.” Don’t forget the patterns of how God has come through for you. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

It may look foolish, but God uses the foolish things to show Himself.

And that is why we are inviting you to our Gathering of Light in Ajibode, Ibadan.

Christianity EtcStirring The Spirit: Not Escaping Reality, But Changing by iamteegee(op): 10:15pm On Sep 25, 2025
Stirring the Spirit: Not Escaping Reality, But Changing It

Last Sunday, while the worship was going on, the Holy Spirit was having a conversation with me about the importance of stirring the Spirit. He said to me: “This is the key.”

When I got home, I was led to check some scriptures about not being drunk with wine. This is not about legalism, not because alcohol is a “sin,” but let’s look at it from a different angle.

We know that sometimes when someone takes alcohol, it is because they are trying to escape reality maybe issues with a spouse, business, life challenges, or career frustrations. Many also take drugs to numb the pains, suppress fear, or cover up self-confidence issues. Some bury themselves in movies, games, fun, or sex to hide all these things. But in truth, they are not solving anything; they are just escaping reality.

As believers, we are instructed to be filled with the Spirit not because movies or skits are evil, but because those things don’t change reality. They don’t bring transformation.

Look at Genesis 1:2: the earth was in a total mess darkness, confusion, emptiness. Yet when the Spirit began to brood, it gave birth to shaping, beautification, and transformation of the earth.

The Spirit said: “This is the key not to bury ourselves trying to numb and escape reality, which only leads to addiction, health issues, and mental struggles but to stir the Spirit.”

How do we stir the Spirit? By singing spiritual songs, hymns, declaring God’s Word, praying in the Spirit, giving thanks. This brings clarity, because there is a spirit in man, and the inspiration of the Almighty gives him understanding (Job 32:cool. Those other things of the world make you duller, but the Spirit makes you alive quickened!

As you stir the Spirit, the anointing flows strongly. Ideas come. Visions open. Directions and guidance are released. Strength, might, purpose, and supernatural insight are stirred. You begin to walk in the supernatural. The changes may not be automatic, but you know that you are no longer where you used to be. It’s one step at a steady time.

So keep giving thanks, because He has already qualified you for the inheritance healing, prosperity, righteousness, eternal life, favor, protection, and more. Keep stirring the Spirit, keep declaring these words, keep charging yourself, keep walking with the Spirit until you arrive at your desired destination.

Because at the end of the day, who do we have but Him?

David understood this secret. He had no one to help him. He wasn’t liked by his family. He was just a boy in the bush. What way was there for such a person? Yet David knew how to stir the Spirit. While God was looking for someone to anoint, Psalm 89 says: “I have found David My servant; with My holy oil I have anointed him, with whom My hand shall be established; My arm also shall strengthen him.”

The prophet came intending to anoint his elder brothers, but God said, “No, not them. There is a boy who just knows how to stir Me. Look for him.” And it was that boy David that God anointed to be king. He had no human connection, but he knew how to stir the Spirit, and that changed his reality.

So beloved, who do we have? God is our Source, our Shepherd, our All in All. That is why we must master the art of stirring the Spirit. Don’t numb reality. Don’t escape it. Change it. Enjoy the pneuma atmosphere.

Christianity EtcGarden Of Eden And The Trees by iamteegee(op): 10:07pm On Sep 22, 2025
Garden of Eden and the Trees

We know very well that the gospel of Christ is not just a New Testament thing. Jesus said all Scriptures pointed to Him, hence why Hebrews 11 was written making us know that even Abel knew and presented a substance that represented what they hoped for.

So when God made Adam, God gave Adam a choice about the trees in the garden. The Tree of Life represented depending on Him, while the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil was the tree God warned Adam not to take from.

In Hebrew idioms, “good and evil” are both extreme words, it’s like saying “heaven and earth,” which together mean the whole universe. In Hebrew idiom, as we saw, it means the capacity to determine right and wrong, good and evil, something that properly belongs to God. By eating, Adam and Eve were essentially saying:
“We will define life on our own terms. We don’t need God’s word to set the boundary.”

That is why the serpent’s temptation centered on: “You will be like God.” The Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil represents living by law, self-effort, performance, independent and trying to define our own righteousness apart from God.

God had already shared the gospel with Adam. Later, the woman, called Isha in Hebrew, was brought out of the man, Ish. God had not yet spoken to Isha directly, the gospel had not been introduced to her by God although the man (Ish) told her what God had said.

One day the serpent came to the woman and asked if God had said they shouldn’t eat from all the trees. The serpent, the master of deception, twisted God’s word. But Isha replied that God had asked them to eat from the trees except one, and that they shouldn’t even touch it. Then the serpent preached his own message to the woman: “It’s a lie, you won’t die. For God knows that you will become like Him the day you eat of it.”

Now, what does this mean? Did that tree have power to make them “like God”? Even though they were already made in God’s image, they still had to depend on Him and follow what He said. So how would it look to have the authority to define morality for yourself? It wasn’t about the fruit, it was rebellion. It was the desire to say, “We want to decide for ourselves what is right and wrong apart from God.” They were seeking autonomy instead of trusting God’s word and depending on Him.

It’s like when Nigeria gained independence from Britain. Nigeria told the British government: “We want to be independent. We don’t want your influence anymore. We don’t want you telling us what to do or what is right or wrong.” That’s what Adam and Isha were doing in the garden. And God had said that the day they took of that fruit symbolic of independence “you will surely die.”

But we know they didn’t die physically right away. They even lived for hundreds of years after Adam lived over 900 years. But from that moment, the Spirit of God left them. The bond was broken. The indwelling was no longer there. Man lost his covering of glory.

The devil knew something man didn’t know then. The devil was jealous of man’s authority as a being created to house God and act on God’s authority. The devil desired that authority not because he wanted God to dwell in him, but because he wanted power.

The woman was deceived because she never heard the gospel directly from God. But the man was not deceived he transgressed. He knowingly rejected the gospel. He wanted to be on his own, independent, without God’s leading. He refused the Tree of Life (which we now know is a symbol of Christ, Revelation 22).

So Ish and Isha were sent out of the garden because they had become like God in the sense of determining morality for themselves, seeking independence. God sent them away to protect the Tree of Life, which is Christ, for the time of His revealing had not yet come. Two cherubim stood with flaming swords to guard the way.

Notice this detail: Eve ate first, but nothing happened. But when the man the one to whom the gospel had been directly given ate, their eyes were opened. They realized they were naked. The Spirit had left them. The glory was gone. The covering was lost.

But then Jesus, the Second Adam, came. Though equal with God, He humbled Himself. He was led by the Father, never did anything outside the Father, and depended completely on Him. He had no will of His own but came to fulfill the will of the Father. He did not grasp at independence but submitted to God even unto death. And because of this, He was highly exalted.

This is the lesson for us. In a relationship or marriage, you are not independent. You listen to your spouse, you submit, you depend. If you want to be independent, then there is no point entering a relationship or marriage. If you don’t want to listen or submit, if you don’t want to depend, then stay single. In the same way, God wants us to depend on Him.

That’s why Romans 8:14 says, “As many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.” Not your own will, not what you think, not what you want but submitting to His will and depending on Him.

The question was never about what kind of fruit grew on the tree. The real question was: Will we trust God’s word or grasp for control?

In Christ, the answer is clear:

We don’t live by self-definition but by His declaration.

We don’t live by knowledge of good and evil, but by the life of the Son of God in us.

We don’t stand condemned at a forbidden tree; we are welcomed to the Tree of Life, whose leaves are for the healing of the nations.

So don’t live from the wrong tree. Don’t let rules, law, self-effort, or performance define you. Live from Christ, your Tree of Life. For it is not what you eat that defiles, but what you believe, confess, and hold in your heart that defines you.

The gospel Adam rebelled against and rejected by following the message of the devil is the same gospel we have now accepted in the Second Adam, Jesus Christ.

The Two Trees in Contrast

Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil
Law, self-effort, performance, self-definition
Living by independence from God
Leads to condemnation, shame, naked, attacked by the darkness and death

Tree of Life
Christ Himself
Grace, dependence, Spirit-led living
Leads to righteousness, glory, and eternal life

We are inviting you to our "Gathering Of Light" in Ajibode, Ibadan on the 4th of October, don't miss it as light shines and darkness cannot comprehend.

Christianity EtcMARATS The Forcible Words by iamteegee(op): 7:47am On Sep 21, 2025
MARATS The Forcible Words

In Job 6:25 we see a very powerful word used there. Job was faced with a problem and his friends came, all arguing, saying different things with lots of speculations on what could have been the cause of Job's predicaments. Those voices went on, a thousand and one advisers with no solution.

It also happens in our world today, where you are faced with lots of issues and you just keep asking yourself how did you even get into this mess, then with different people coming to you with different speculations: it's definitely spiritual attack, it's the devil, it's this… And some MOG do not also help with speculations and pointing fingers to families, friends, neighbors, parents accusing you. Friends and strangers telling you that you are not doing enough etc.

So Job has overheard this and said to them in Job 6:25: “How forcible are the right words but what does your arguing reprove?”

No words of comfort!

Forcible there in Hebrew is MARATS, which also means positivity, the weight of truth, words of force beyond emotions. The words carry spiritual pressure against lies, fear and negative circumstances not just weak encouragements but powerful life-altering words.

So as believers we do not speak like the friends of Job, we speak the forcible words. And why?

Union and One Voice

Before then let's talk about union. As a couple you must work together to make the union successful, fruitful and beautiful. So when one person is the only one doing everything, it weighs a lot on that union and eventually leads to frustrations.

So as a couple you must have one mind, one voice so as to produce great results (Amos 3:3).

So we are joined to the Lord, He is our husband and we are the bride. So it would be wrong to have different mind, voice from Him. How then can we work together and have results?

Christ has died to make us holy, righteous, health, prosperity, favour, joy, to be the head and above, to heal the sick etc. So imagine He has given us all things and then we entertain voices, economy , mind and thought projection from both ourselves and others, making us to say things not aligned with God's will for our lives as Christ has made available.

Making the Right Word Forcible (MARATS)

So how do we make the right word forcible? By speaking those beautiful words over yourself. This is not just a positive something but words in line with what your Lover has spoken in the Bible, in your vision, in the Spirit.

Take a look at yourself in the mirror and say to yourself daily, keep saying to your self until your physical life starts showing the words, your words are Spirit and Life.

“Oboy I carry the glory of God.”

“ I just want to remind you how special you are.”

“I want to remind you that you are so blessed, you are above and not beneath, your voice is amplified, the nations of the world is blessed in and through you.”

“You are the light of the world, a city set on a hill that cannot be hidden.”

“Oboy your glory shines forth, your body is quickened, you never fall sick, you will marry right, your home is blessed.”

“Oboy you heal the sick, bring solutions to the world.”

“ you are steps ahead of the world.” etc

You are not just speaking empty words, this is the will of God for you, this is the word that builds, transforms, beautifys your life.

Change by MARATS! Have the mind of Christ!

Christianity EtcWalking In Faith – Pistis by iamteegee(op): 1:43am On Sep 20, 2025
Walking in Faith – Pistis

The phrase “we walk by faith, not by sight” comes from 2 Corinthians 5:7. It means the believer’s life is not governed by what can be seen, felt, or reasoned out naturally, but by confidence in the unseen realities of God’s Word.

Walking is continuous, step by step so walking by faith is not a one-time event but a lifestyle.

Think about it: maybe you come from a family where abnormalities are common, or you’re going through your daily activities and suddenly feel angry, or have wild thoughts flash through your mind. Judging by sight, you’d conclude you’re condemned, a sinner. But walking in pistis—faith—is about being persuaded, having confidence in the finished work of Christ. He has declared you the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus and made you a new creation. Old things have passed away. You don’t have an “old man” and a “new man” you only have the new man.

Faith persuades you by the gospel, regardless of how things look or how close the deadline is.

Take Elisha’s prophecy: during severe famine, when people were buying a donkey’s head for an outrageous price and the poor were even resorting to eating their children, Elisha declared that food would soon be cheap in abundance. One man, calculating by sight scientifically, economically, statistically said it was impossible. Yet, outside the city, some hungry lepers reasoned, “If we stay, we die. If we go, we might also die. Let’s try anyway.” In their simple step of faith, God amplified their movement. The enemy soldiers heard the sound of a mighty army and fled, leaving behind food, clothes, gold, silver etc, The lepers enjoyed, then shared the good news.

Who could have believed it? The man who mocked the prophecy by reviewing, calculating, seeing and walking by sight only saw it fulfilled but never partook in it in the manifestations.

Abraham also walked by faith fully persuaded of God’s Word. Though he had no children by sight, he began telling others to call him Abraham “father of many nations.” Faith begins in the heart and is released in words. With the heart man believes, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. It’s not mere positive thinking, but being persuaded of God’s Word and declaring it.

Paul said, “We believe, therefore we speak.” When you are persuaded, you can’t keep quiet.

In Christ, we have all things prosperity, breakthrough, favor, blessing, peace, righteousness, grace, speed. The real question is: are you fully persuaded of His finished works? If yes, then declare it boldly until your daily walk in faith becomes a physical manifestation:

I walk in prosperity and favor.

I am a new creation.

I am righteous.

My body is quickened.

I cannot be sick.

I cannot die prematurely.

No demon or negative pattern can control or stop me.

I am in Him, and He is the Way.

When you meet a wealthy man dressed simply, you may not see his riches, but by how he talks, behaves, carries himself, you know he is rich. In the same way, when you are persuaded of who you are in Christ, your words, actions , mentality will reveal it. You are a success. If it takes learning how the blessed talk, start practicing that reality. Why? Because you are the seed of Abraham. You are blessed and a blessing to your world.

You are full of the Spirit, free from curses, voodoo, family patterns, or bad luck. Even when by sight it looks like there is no way, know that the One in you is the Way.

We invite you to the Gathering of Light in Ajibode, Ibadan on the 4th of October. Come experience the shining light of the gospel!

Christianity EtcNo Spirit Of Fear, Nor Of Curses , The Spirit Of Christ In Us by iamteegee(op): 3:10pm On Sep 17, 2025
No Spirit of Fear, nor of Curses , The Spirit of Christ in Us

The Scripture declares: “God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, of love, and of a sound mind.” (2 Timothy 1:7).
Yet many are quick to quote Elisha without understanding that in his time, only Elisha carried the Spirit of God. Those who died in those stories did not have the Spirit, because the Holy Spirit had not yet been poured out upon all flesh. Elijah also acted in similar ways, but when the disciples of Jesus wanted to repeat what the prophets of old did calling down fire Jesus rebuked them and said, “You know not what manner of spirit you are of.”

This is a key difference: the men of old were not the best representatives of God’s true nature. That is why Jesus came to fully reveal the Father’s heart. If Jesus had been present in the days of those prophets, would He have approved of their actions? The answer is No!

Now, as New Testament believers, we must understand that having the Holy Spirit changes everything. A man with the Spirit has authority. Angels are ministering spirits, and Scripture does not say “only angels of God,” but “angels” which shows the need for caution in our words. Every word released carries weight; reckless or fleshly speech can attract the wrong spirits. Demons (fallen angels) are eager to carry out words of destruction, but the believer is called to speak words of grace and life.

This is why the New Testament urges us to let our speech be seasoned with grace, to be patient, slow to speak, and mindful that every idle word will be judged. The Spirit within us is not inferior or superior in measure. No pastor, no prophet, no apostle has “more anointing” than the believer who just received Christ and was filled with the Spirit. The anointing is the Holy Spirit Himself, and there is no “junior Spirit” or “senior Spirit.” Human philosophies and traditional “ranking systems” (like eze muo style hierarchies) have no place in Christ.

As a believer, no curse can affect you. Remember Balaam when the king hired him to curse Israel, no matter the altars he raised, he failed and ended up blessing them instead. “There is no enchantment against Jacob, neither is there any divination against Israel.” (Numbers 23:23). In Christ, the presence of God in you is far greater: His Spirit is your cloud by day and fire by night.

No wrong prophecy, no curse, no demonic utterance can stand against you. The only battle left is in your mind. “As a man thinks in his heart, so is he.” You must cast down imaginations and every thought that rises against the knowledge of God. Don’t allow words spoken against you to lodge in your mind. Renew your thoughts with truth.

And finally, remember: any believer who still curses people is functioning in ignorance, still reading Elisha’s error as a template instead of following Christ the One who prayed for those who insulted and crucified Him. Christ is our example.

So let us live in this truth: honor all men, show respect, speak life, walk in grace, and never fear. For the same Spirit of God dwells in us all.

We are having a Gathering Of The Light in Ajibode, Ibadan on the 4th of October and we are inviting you.

Christianity EtcDeception And The Simplicity Of Christ by iamteegee(op): 10:33pm On Sep 16, 2025
Deception and the Simplicity of Christ

Romans 16:18 warns us: “For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.”

Deception has always thrived on beautiful words. Many people, though they read the Scriptures, still submit their loyalty to voices they have exalted above God’s Word. They assume that “big grammar” equals the gospel, or that someone’s personal experience validates truth. Yet Paul, in Colossians 2:4, cautions us not to be swayed by enticing words. No matter how convincing, no matter how appealing, if it does not stand on the truth of Christ, it is deception.

I cannot take seriously any church that gives microphones to unbelievers possesed with demons in the church, what purpose does it serve? How does it help the believers? as if demons can speak truth. Jesus Himself said in John 8:44: “You are of your father the devil… when he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.” Truth is not in him, because truth is Christ.

Paul understood this danger well. He wrote in 2 Corinthians 11:3: “But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.”

How Eve Was Deceived

God had already made Adam and Eve rulers over the earth. They were already the children of God, carrying His image and authority. But the serpent whispered, “If you eat of this tree, then you will be like God.” He planted the idea that what God had already given was not enough. That is how deception works: it adds conditions, requirements, and “extras” to what God has already finished.

Paul saw the same pattern in his time, and we see it even more today. False teachings complicate the gospel. They tell believers about witches and warlocks stopping them, about generational curses, demonic altars, spirit spouses, and endless battles to fight. These are enticing words with human and cultural philosophy, but they corrupt the mind away from the simplicity that is in Christ.

Christianity is not complex. It is simple. Christ is enough.

The Lies That Bind

Lies always enslave. The more you listen to them, especially when you are naive, the more they shape your convictions, your vision, your inspiration, your experiences, and your life. That is why many believers never enter into rest. If it is not one so called “altar” to break, it is another. If it is not one “curse” to cancel, it is another. Experiences birthed out of deception can never lead to freedom.

But Scripture is clear: “If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new” (2 Corinthians 5:17). How then can you be in Christ and still carry “foundational problems”? It is either old things are passed away, or they are not. The gospel does not leave room for half truths.

Christ Plus Nothing

There is no dimension you need to climb to before you can see God. No wilderness you must suffer in before He hears you. No ritual you must perform before you carry power. Christ alone is the foundation. Not Christ and spiritual soap. Not Christ and perfume. Not Christ and olive oil, handkerchief, or water etc

You are already the carrier of the Spirit’s anointing. No past sin, no sexual history, no covenant made in ignorance, no blood of virgins, goats, or idols is stronger than the blood of Jesus Christ. His blood speaks a better word, and it is final.

This is why Paul could declare: “Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty” (2 Corinthians 3:17). The gospel is freedom, not bondage. It is rest, not endless striving. It is Christ plus nothing.

The Call Back to Simplicity

Deception thrives when we look away from Christ. Truth is not complicated. If you believe in Jesus, you are already empowered to heal the sick, cast out devils, and live free from fear. You are not under attack, you are seated with Christ in heavenly places without any years of fasting and any thing.

Christianity is not Christ plus effort. It is not Christ plus rituals. It is not Christ plus cultural altars. It is Christ and Christ alone.

Beloved, Christ is enough. Don’t try to “help God” by adding something else. Rest in the finished work. Walk in your authority. Live in the simplicity of Christ, enjoy fellowship with the Holy Spirit daily.

Christianity EtcThe Spirit Of Heaviness (keheh) by iamteegee(op): 8:54pm On Sep 14, 2025
The Spirit of Heaviness (Keheh)

There is something heaviness does, it robs you of joy, happiness, and confidence. But before we go deeper, let’s check the Hebrew meaning.

The word for heaviness is Keheh, which means dim, faint, dull, feeble, weak, or darkened.

In Isaiah 61, the Scripture is pointing to the coming of Jesus and how God anointed Him with the Holy Ghost. He went about doing good, setting the captives free, giving the oil of joy for mourning, and clothing people with the garment of praise. The same ability is now in us as believers! The Spirit is upon us and dwells in us, and we go about letting our light so shine, so that men glorify the Father through what we do in His name.

But here is the truth: the spirit of heaviness is not necessarily a demonic spirit. A believer cannot be possessed with demons. Instead, heaviness manifests as sorrow, depression, discouragement, darkness of mind, and feeling stuck.

And this manifestation does something, it robs a believer of confidence.

A believer is a consuming fire in the Spirit. God is one with our spirit. But for us to be a blessing, the light or fire must pass through our soul from the Spirit into the physical manifestation of the body.

So the question is: How can this light pass through if heaviness rules the soul?

Heaviness dims the light.
It dims the fire.
It dims the power of the Holy Ghost.

The mind becomes weak, failing, and fainting. And how can a soul experiencing this still walk in the supernatural?

You won’t even have the confidence to pray for the sick because whispers will come: “When you haven’t helped yourself, how can you help others?”

“If God hasn’t fixed your issues, how can you pray for someone else?”

“How can you preach the gospel when you are stuck yourself?”

The mind becomes so darkened that you barely see beyond yourself. You begin to feel powerless, doubting your identity, doubting your salvation, doubting the Spirit in you.

And if this is not stopped, it can lead to sickness in the body, thoughts of suicide, becoming a shadow of yourself, and living as a liability instead of an asset. Heaviness affects every part of life, you can’t even be joyful around your wife, husband, friends, family, or colleagues. It becomes a load too heavy to carry.

This heaviness is not from the devil possessing you, but it dims the light in your soul. And as a man thinks in his heart, so is he that becomes his definition to himself and to his society.

But here is the good news: Jesus is calling us to rest in Him!
He has given us His Spirit. Allow the fruits of the Spirit to always flow in you. With joy, we draw out all things for our benefit in salvation.

Say to yourself:

I will be happy.

I will always be happy.

I won’t allow anything or anyone to dim my light or steal my joy.

I am full of the Spirit.

I am full of light.

I have the peace that passes all understanding.

I have come into rest.

My mind is full of light.

I am a son of God.

I am righteous and holy.

I am a success.

My ways are always straight.

I am not disadvantaged.

I am not behind.

I have the speed of the Spirit.

Beauty has swallowed my past ashes.

So what do you do?

Pray more in the Spirit.

Surround yourself with people who make you happy.

Be intentional about your joy and happiness.

Finally Siblings

Heaviness dims the soul, but joy releases the Spirit. Your identity in Christ is greater than any weight in your emotions. You are light, and your light will never be dimmed.

Sometimes, the thoughts of heaviness may come, but don’t let them stay. Don’t give them a room in your mind. Fight back by renewing your mind daily and reminding yourself of God’s Word and His promises over you. When the whispers of discouragement arise, silence them with the truth of Scripture and your identity in Christ. The more you meditate on who you are in Him, the faster the shadows of heaviness lose their grip.

Christianity EtcIntimacy The Heart Of Union In Christianity by iamteegee(op): 10:37pm On Sep 12, 2025
Intimacy The Heart of Union in Christianity

When God said it was not good for man to be alone and brought the woman out of Adam, it was also a shadow of the true Church, the Bride coming out of Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection. That is the true union!

Have you ever been in a relationship, friendship, or marriage where your intimacy with that special person brought something beautiful out of you or out of them? Something you never knew was within you before? To your greatest amusement, some people became writers, musicians, creators, or discovered hidden treasures within themselves all through intimate friendship or relationship.

So also, when we have intimacy with our true Lover, God, Christianity is not a religion but a union with God (1 Corinthians 6:17).

Take a look at David. He had relationship with God. Even though he was hated by his siblings, rejected and neglected, considered one from whom nothing good could ever come, abandoned in the bush to look after sheep, David did not let himself be buried by those situations. Many times, we go through the issues of life and our eyes become blind to the truth. We keep seeing only what is not working, and we fail to bring out something from our intimacy.

Imagine if Nigeria only saw that the Europeans came to hijack their lands they would never see how God, even through that, brought about education, the discovery of Crude oil, the ending of practices like the killing of twins, and more. Intimacy brings out hidden treasures even in the midst of pain.

David, despite his circumstances, had intimacy with the Holy Spirit. And from that place, music flowed he began to sing. He wasn’t taught how to play instruments, yet he began playing, singing, writing poems and psalms. From the place of intimacy, something crazier emerged: when the lion and bear came to snatch a sheep, an unexplainable force kept pushing him, whispering, “You can do it you’re bigger than this.” Without intimacy, how would he have heard that voice? And he did what no one had done without learning martial arts or attending military school, he ran after them and killed both lion and bear. What?! That’s crazy!

So, when a giant came harassing Israel, everyone went into hiding. But a man who had brought out something unique through intimacy with God, without ever fighting anyone, stepped forward and killed the uncircumcised Philistine harassing the bride of God.

Through these gifts, when the king was always troubled and they had tried everything, even people suggested music. Someone mentioned David. That was how David was brought out of a poor village into the capital city and into the palace. Changing location expanded his mind. The gift of a man makes a way for him and brings him before kings.

1 Corinthians 12:7 and downwards tells us that the same Spirit unveils to some the words and counsel of wisdom you just begin to speak wise words; to some knowledge, you just become unusually intelligent; to some healing, to some miracles. These are not gotten by fasting, or by your works, or by perfection, but by the Spirit.

The more you communicate with Him, the more you bring out what has been deposited in you, things that can transform your life. Pay attention to the inner witness. Pay attention to your gifts. They are not for yourself alone, but for others. And as you pour out to others, it returns to you in gold.

But now the question is Siblings?

1. Do you have intimacy with the Spirit? Praying prayer points, shouting “enemies die by fire” daily, or casting out devils daily is not intimacy. That is no longer sweet fellowship. True intimacy is fellowshipping in the Spirit.

2. What have you brought out of your intimacy with the Spirit since you were saved? Or are you still the same every year?

3. Are you buried in your situation, not allowing the Spirit to overflow through you?

Beloved, intimacy is the heart of union in Christianity. Don’t miss this reality! Holy Spirit loves you! Holy Spirit loves you!

Christianity EtcThe Weight Of Glory by iamteegee(op): 9:57am On Sep 12, 2025
The Weight of Glory

When we read the Bible, Exodus 33, especially from verse 18, we see Moses pleading with God: “Show me Your glory.” And you will wonder isn’t this Moses? The same Moses who performed so many miracles? Despite all the wonders God did through him, there was still a reality, a deeper revelation he begged God to show him.

Many people think that the way to know a genuine man of God is by miracles. Especially in a continent like Africa, where due to bad leadership, lack of companies, hardship, and poverty, the majority of preaching has been centered around miracles, generational curses, witches, altars, and demons said to be the reasons why some are not married, not happy, stagnant, or not progressing in life.

So people spend their lives sleeping in churches, visiting prophets, running from one meeting to another just for miracles. But the truth is this: miracles are not bad they are good but miracles are not the essence. Wrong teachings produce wrong mindsets. And when people don’t succeed after all these religious activities, eventually travel abroad, and see a different reality, they begin to lose interest in God.

Miracles are nothing. Anybody can perform miracles. The Bible even says demons will perform miracles so great that if possible, even the elect would be deceived.

I remember some years ago when I was desperately seeking miracles. I saw a supposed man of God who was doing many wonders, and I said to myself: “This man of God is powerful, I am going there to get my miracle.”

I traveled to the state where his church was, paid for a room to sleep in, and the owner of the room warned me: “You must wake early.” I didn’t understand at first, but by 2am Sunday morning, he woke me up saying I was already late. Late by 2am? Surprised, I bathed and set out for the church, hoping to be early enough. But to my greatest shock, by 2:30am the long queue I saw marveled me thousands of people from different nations, queuing since maybe 10pm Saturday night, all waiting for a Sunday service that would start by 8am.

I joined the line, defended my spot until morning, and was finally happy to squeeze into the gallery. Inside, I noticed strange things, incense, rituals, and other odd practices. But who cared? I came for miracles! I sat, prayed desperately for the man to “call my case,” while thousands of others did the same.

And this is how many innocently become victims of divination, sorcery, and manipulation because they equate miracles with truth.

But hear this clearly: miracles are not what define a true minister of God. Even though we walk in them, miracles are nothing , anyone can perform them. Remember Moses in Pharaoh’s court his rod became a serpent, but Pharaoh’s magicians did the same.

Yes, Moses did countless miracles, yet in Exodus 33:18 he still pleaded: “Lord, show me Your glory.”

The Essence of Glory

In verse 19, God replied: “I will cause all My goodness to pass before you, and I will proclaim My name.” This wasn’t just a pronunciation, it was a revelation of His character, His nature, His essence. God added: “I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy.” This is the election of Grace.

Grace doesn’t play by man’s rules. How can someone simply believe and be justified, while others labor under the law and are never justified? This is the scandal of grace.

In verse 20, God said to Moses: “You cannot see My face, for no man shall see Me and live.” The full revelation of God’s glory was too overwhelming for mortal flesh.

But in verse 21, God full of grace said: “Behold, there is a place by Me, and you shall stand on the rock.” And 1 Corinthians 10:4 reveals: “That Rock was Christ.”

So Moses’ request was only possible in Christ. Verse 22 says: “It shall come to pass, while My glory passes by, I will put you in the cleft of the rock, and cover you with My hand.” God was prophetically hiding Moses in Christ, covering him in grace. Still, Moses did not see the fullness of His face. What he saw was just a glimpse—a shadow of what was to come.

Fulfillment in Christ

Fast forward to John 1:14: “The Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory.” The very glory Moses longed to see is now revealed in Christ!

Think about this: John the Baptist did no miracles, yet Jesus testified that of all born of women, none was greater than John. Why? Because John beheld the revelation of Christ, the glory all the prophets longed for. Yet Jesus added: “The least in the kingdom is greater than he.”

None of us may have done miracles like Moses or Elijah, yet we are greater than them, because the fullness of God dwells in us. “Christ in you, the hope of glory” (Colossians 1:27).

The Glory in Us

Now, by the Spirit, 2 Corinthians 3:18 says we behold with unveiled faces the glory of the Lord, being transformed into the same image from glory to glory.

Beloved, this means you no longer need to pray: “Lord, show me Your glory” or run after prophets to receive glory. You are the glory of God on earth.

You don’t need oil, stones, handkerchiefs, bands, stickers, or water to walk in God’s power. You don’t need to think another person’s anointing is higher than yours. You carry the weight of glory within you.

If your manifestation hasn’t appeared yet, remember, there is a time and season for everything. Do not think you are lacking anything.

Beloved, stop chasing shadows. Rest in the substance, Christ Himself.

You are the greatest miracle and a miracle worker, You are the glory. Christ in you is the hope of glory.

Christianity EtcIntimacy, The Heart Of Christianity Part2 by iamteegee(op): 1:18am On Sep 11, 2025
Intimacy, The Heart of Christianity part2

We’ve established this truth already: Christianity is not a religion but an eternal union.
It is not about religious activities. Many people go to church, sleep daily in church, mountains, and burn themselves out trying to keep all the laws, without truly knowing and understanding that they are in an eternal union with Him.

1 Corinthians 6:17 declares: “He that is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him.”
What God truly wants from us is intimacy, because in intimacy you don’t just hear about Him, you truly know who He is.

Religion only talks about Jesus with lists of things you must do to please Him.
But intimacy with the Spirit brings revelation of Christ to you.
And revelation is not borrowed knowledge, it is experiential knowledge. In intimacy, Christ is revealed more and more until your whole life is transformed.

That revelation births

Freedom

Boldness

True sonship

Deeper intimacy

Songs of Solomon, A Picture of Intimacy

Before looking into Songs of Solomon, let’s remember that all of Scripture points to Christ, every mystery of the Old Testament finds its revelation in the New.

Growing up, because there were many preachers but few true teachers of the gospel of Grace, many of us avoided the Songs of Solomon. It sounded carnal, even vulgar. But as I walked with God, I discovered every scripture was Christ concealed.

So the Songs of Solomon isn’t just Solomon and his lover, it’s a divine shadow of our union and intimacy with Christ.
Place yourself in the position of the woman (the bride) and see the Holy Spirit as the Lover. Then the words come alive

Songs of Solomon 5:9–16

Verse 9 “What is thy beloved more than another beloved…?”

The women ask the bride why her lover is different. This is the voice of religion, the world, and even other believers who don’t understand intimacy. They can’t see what you see, so they ask, “Why is Jesus so special to you?”

Verse 10 “My beloved is white and ruddy, the chiefest among ten thousand.”

The bride answers from revelation, not hearsay. She describes her Lover with confidence:

“White” speaks of His purity and holiness.

“Ruddy” points to His sacrifice, His blood shed for us.

“Chiefest among ten thousand” means He is incomparable. No one matches Christ.

Verse 11 “His head is as the most fine gold, his locks are bushy, and black as a raven.”

Gold represents divinity. His head shows His authority and kingship, perfect and incorruptible.

Black hair speaks of eternal strength and unchanging nature. He never grows old or weak.

Verse 12 “His eyes are as the eyes of doves by the rivers of waters, washed with milk, and fitly set.”

His eyes are tender, full of peace and compassion, always watching over us.

They are “washed with milk”, eyes of grace, not condemnation.

Verse 13 “His cheeks are as a bed of spices, as sweet flowers: his lips like lilies, dropping sweet-smelling myrrh.”

His cheeks reflect His gentleness and beauty.

His lips drop myrrh, symbol of sacrificial love. Every word He speaks is filled with grace and healing fragrance.

Verse 14 “His hands are as gold rings set with the beryl: his belly is as bright ivory overlaid with sapphires.”

His hands, golden and skillful, speak of His perfect works, what He has accomplished for us in redemption.

His inward being (belly/heart) is pure, bright, and priceless, overlaid with sapphires, revealing His depth of truth and faithfulness.

Verse 15 “His legs are as pillars of marble, set upon sockets of fine gold: his countenance is as Lebanon, excellent as the cedars.”

His legs speak of stability. Christ is unshakable, the solid foundation we stand upon.

His countenance is majestic, strong, and excellent, like mighty cedars of Lebanon.

Verse 16 “His mouth is most sweet: yea, he is altogether lovely. This is my beloved, and this is my friend, O daughters of Jerusalem.”

His mouth, every word He speaks, is sweetness, life, and Spirit (John 6:63).

The bride sums it up: “He is altogether lovely.”

Not just a Savior, but a Friend and Lover of our souls.

Religion Without Intimacy Destroys

Many enter relationships or marriages with other people’s experiences, mistakes, and fears. Instead of giving their partner a chance, they impose insecurities and third-party opinions. That’s why many marriages and friendships are destroyed by outsiders.

Sadly, this is how many approach God, through the lens of wrong teachings. They daily read the Bible with the wrong mindset and end up chasing shadows instead of the substance.

But if you truly know your Lover

You will not believe that ancestral curses, foundations, altars, demons, or witches can rule your life when you are filled with the Spirit (Colossians 1:13; 2:14–15).

You will not try to mix Jesus with occultic or traditional practices (Philippians 2:9–11).

You will not accept a Jesus stricter than Moses, demanding endless fasting or midnight rituals before you can be free or walk in power.

The Pharisees kept all the laws and still never knew the Father. But Jesus, who lived in intimacy with the Father, stood at Lazarus’ tomb and simply prayed: “Father, I thank You that You hear Me always.” (John 11).

When you live in intimacy:

You won’t believe fasting is what brings God closer, He already lives inside you.

You won’t believe God is an always-angry judge, eager to punish or abandon you. Perfect love casts out fear (1 John 4:18).

You won’t believe in “rededication of life” as many Pentecostal churches teach, painting salvation as temporary. Eternal life is eternal, not probationary. You have been sealed with the Spirit (Ephesians 1:13–14).

Christ is:

Above all powers

The only Lord

Full of grace

An intimate Friend

The Lover of our lives

Our eternal Savior

When Africans and indeed the world see Christ as He truly is, the fears of curses, failure, and death are broken. Instead, they step into union, rest, and boldness in Him.

So, the real question is:
Have you truly been in a relationship with the Holy Spirit?
Do you have intimacy with Him?
Do you truly know Him by revelation, not religion?

It’s not too late. You can begin today.
Religion drains. Intimacy builds bonds. Revelation transforms.

Christianity EtcIntimacy: The Heart Of Our Union With God by iamteegee(op): 9:19pm On Sep 09, 2025
Intimacy: The Heart of Our Union with God

We’ve been talking about the mystery of marriage, and I believe God is teaching us love, how to love, how to be intimate. Many times when we are with that man or woman we love, we act so lovey, which is good, but when it comes to our true union with God, we treat it as religion.

Truth is: Christianity is not a religion, it’s far from it. Christianity is a union between God and believers. Not a stone-hearted lover you have to burn yourself to please by keeping all the laws, striving to be perfect, and doing everything religion taught.

We don’t understand that the Holy Spirit is not it not wind, not dove, not smoke, not fire, not water even though He reveals Himself through those means. He is a Person. He has a personality, He has feelings, He has emotions. He talks, He plays, He gists, He is warm. And intimacy is the very heart of our Christian journey.

When you don’t have intimacy with Him, you’re just practicing religion or fooling yourself. Sometimes people think praying fervently from morning till night about witches, demons, jobs, spouses, contracts, enemies, food, family, children, etc., equals intimacy. But no it’s not the same. Because you spent all year praying doesn’t mean you have intimacy with Him.

Do you have a friend, boyfriend, girlfriend, wife, or husband that every single time you’re together, there’s nothing sweet, no memories, just demons and curses? How do you feel around such a person? That’s not love; that’s draining.

When the Bible says “Do not grieve the Holy Spirit”, many think it is talking about sin, especially fornication, etc. Lol. But let’s look at it from Scripture. God found a new lover called Israel, sent His angel ahead of them, equipped Moses as His instrument, and His presence went with them day and night. They saw darkness in Egypt but had light in Goshen, water became blood, plagues upon plagues, the firstborn of Egypt died, yet they were spared. Their taskmasters handed them gold, diamonds, and treasures as they left. The Red Sea parted, they walked on dry ground, their enemies drowned, all of this not by their effort, not by their works, not because they were holy or good, but because love brought grace and mercy to them.

But they didn’t understand the beauty and advantage of intimacy. They had been slaves all their lives, and God brought them into a new destiny. They could finally become anything they dreamed, yet they kept nagging and complaining. Over onions and garlic! Imagine, God is taking you to a land flowing with milk and honey, and you’re crying over onions and garlic.

That’s how many believers behave. And just like with a marriage imagine your wife, husband, or friend always nagging and complaining when you’re meant to enjoy intimacy. The energy changes, the atmosphere is spoiled, and you begin to avoid them. It’s the same way God was grieved with Israel.

God wanted to wipe them out and start afresh with Moses. But Moses understood intimacy. He knew how to talk with God, how to meno in His presence and come back with his face shining, how to say “Show me Your glory, I want to see You.” Moses knew how to tickle God, how to make Him blush. That’s intimacy. Yet he still begged God not to wipe Israel out, even when God was grieved.

We believers need to learn love. Sometimes our upbringing, experiences, and economic struggles make us survival-driven instead of intimacy-driven. But through this teaching, God is calling us back. You can’t keep coming to Him every time only about demons, witches, and enemies. That’s not intimacy that’s ignorance wrapped in religion.

God our Lover can be grieved. In intimacy, one of the benefits we enjoy is clarity in decisions (John 16:13). But most times, when we come to God, we already have our plans, and we just want Him to stamp them. We forget that we are in an inseparable union with Him it’s no longer you alone. You are not single; you are one with Him. So it’s not just you getting results, it’s both of you working together in fellowship.

But when we don’t come with open hearts, we miss out. He said “Come, let us reason together” (Isaiah 1:18). In intimacy, He unveils His will, He helps you avoid mistakes, He aligns you with purpose, He makes your path shine brighter and brighter.

Here’s the truth: God won’t divorce us when we nag, but when grieved, He can be silent. That’s when you start saying: “God doesn’t talk to me. I prayed but didn’t hear His voice. I’ve been asking what direction to take but no answer. Pastor, please pray for me, what is God saying?”

That’s not the way! Go back and repair your intimacy with the Lord. Be genuine. Love sincerely. Because at the end of the day, it is better to be in intimacy with Him who knows tomorrow, who knows the end of our lives, and our journey right from the beginning. When you walk in intimacy, you’re walking with the One who already holds the script of your destiny. Nothing can surprise you, no situation can overwhelm you, because you’re joined with the Eternal Lover who knows all things and leads you in victory. Just pray in the tongues without prayer requests
