The gold album is lit!

A few months back, singer, Adekunle Gold , released his debut album titled ‘GOLD ‘, amidst mixed reactions.
In a recent interview: the ‘Shade ‘ crooner, noted that his rumored woman, Simi , who mixed and mastered most of the songs on the album, did an awesome job..
In his words:

She (Simi) mixed and mastered all the songs except ‘Sade’ which was mixed and mastered by V-Tek. Simi is amazing, she did a lot of work. We had times that we fought about some songs on the album like ‘Nurse Alabere’. I recorded the song like three times; recorded ‘Fight For You’ about three times. I’m happy that we went through all of that because it turned out to be great.’

Adekunle Gold, recently snagged a few spots on the 2016 NMVA nominees list.

The former Blues boss returns to Stamford Bridge with Manchester United on Sunday but he insists that he will put his reception by his old team's fans out of his mind
Jose Mourinho says that the special memories that he has of his time at Chelsea will not stop him doing his job on Sunday, when he takes his Manchester United side to Stamford Bridge for the first time.
Mourinho is the London club's most successful manager of all time, winning three Premier League titles over two spells in charge, and retains a good relationship with the Chelsea fans.
But while he admits that he is unsure what kind of reception he will get from the Blues' faithful, his main concern is to get the job done for United.
"To say I care is not true because, to be honest, when I go to a football match, I do not focus on that. I focus on the game, I try to prepare myself for matches, so I cannot say that I care," he told reporters.
"What can I expect? I don't know. They can think about me and remember our great relationship and have a good reaction. They can look at me and say 'for 90 minutes he is Man Utd manager and he's playing against us so he is not somebody we like in this moment'."
Mourinho, who was sacked by Chelsea in December 2015 after a calamitous start to the season which left the club hovering above the relegation places, insists that he will not be drawn into a war of words following the disappointing end to his second spell.
"Some managers, when they leave clubs, they like to wash their dirty clothes, which means they'd speak about what happened. They go back and speak and speak and speak," he continued.
"I'm not that. I leave the clubs and I leave with a very good feeling, a feeling of I did everything to succeed, I gave everything to the club and I don't like to go back and speak - especially about the bad things.
"I keep the good things - and, at Chelsea, I had so many good things, so many good things in terms of results, so many good things in friends that I have for life, an amazing empathy with the supporters.
"The supporters didn't change their relationship with me because of last season - it was a couple of months of results - so I keep all these good memories and there are things that I don't forget which I keep; I keep them for myself."
But the Portuguese added that he and his United side must overlook the links that he has to Chelsea when Sunday afternoon comes around, just as he did when leading Inter to a 1-0 victory at Stamford Bridge in 2010.
"We have to try to forget it," Mourinho declared. "We have to try to do the job. I played there with Inter and I tried to do my job.
"If you ask me, if my team score a goal, am I going to celebrate like a crazy kid? No. I think I can control emotionally that situation. Am I going to have any negative reaction if the crowd have something negative with me? No. I think, again, I have maturity enough to control that emotion and I have lots of respect.
"But what Man Utd fans can expect from me is in this moment more important and what Man Utd fans can expect from me is to play against Chelsea the same way I play against Fenerbahce, I play against Liverpool, I play against anyone because it's my job."
United head into the fixture in seventh place in the Premier League table, two points and two places behind Antonio Conte's Chelsea.

Armed gunmen suspected to be members of Boko Haram are currently attacking Kuburvwa Village which is just 10 km from Chibok Town. According to Premium Times, an official of the Borno state vigilante Group, Abbas Gava, who confirmed the attack, said suspected sect members stormed the village at about 6.30 p.m, shooting sporadically into the air.

“As I am speaking to you now the gunmen are setting every house on fire after chasing the villagers away. From the information we have received from our operatives in Chibok and Kautikari, the number of casualty cannot be ascertained for now because the Boko Haram insurgents are still in the village” he said.

Borno State Governor, Kashim Shettima on Friday, September,16th explained basis for administration’s continued care for families of Boko Haram insurgents, noting that the aim is to break the Boko Haram cycle of violence and secure the future of Borno State.

Shettima gave the explanation while receiving 355 breastfeeding children babies, 149 breastfeeding mothers and 62 under-aged evacuated by the the Nigerian Army from camps operated by Boko Haram insurgents in different parts of Borno State.
Majority of the the 566 persons are believed to be families of the insurgents saved after the military took over the camps during operations. It was the fourth time he received such families and detained suspects freed by the military.
The General Officer Commanding the 7th Division of the Nigerian Army in Maiduguri, Brigadier General Victor Ezugwu handed over the the 566 children and adults to Governor Kashim Shettima at a rehabilitation and reintegration center newly opened by the Borno State Government in Maiduguri to give medical care, education and cater for the welfare of the families. The Government is working in partnership with the UNICEF, NEMA, security agencies and other stakeholders in the rehabilitation and reintegration program. Shettima said at the event:

“What is of importance we should all know, is that an average male member of the Boko Haram has one great wish and that wish is for his son or daughter to inherit his doctrine of violence. The insurgents seriously take to child bearing as a strategy of not only multiplying their numbers but also producing children they hope, will continue from where their fathers stop in violent killings as their own form of worship. The goal of Boko Haram fathers is that even if they are killed by our armed forces, they want to bequeath to us, a future of violence in Borno State, a future of violence in the northeast and a violent future for our country. Our ultimate aim in taking custody of families of insurgents is to cut the cycle of violence so as to secure the future of Borno State. Our aim is to give education to the children of the insurgents so that these children will grow to despise the values and doctrines their parents lived and preached. The children will not be trained with any element of hate for their parents, they won’t even be told about the ways of their parents so that they don’t grow with deflated self esteem. These children will be raised like every other child, they will be raised to love and not to hate like their parents wished for them. They will be trained to safe lives and contribute to building and growing communities not to take lives and destroy communities like their parents would wish. This is why we are determined to take care of these children. I am speaking in English knowing that they don’t hear what I am saying because we don’t want them to have low self esteem. We will train them to have big dreams and to pursue their dreams of becoming productive citizens. Some of these children will be future leaders, many will be doctors, Engineers, lawyers and some may even grow to join the military if they choose to. They will Insha Allah, contribute to nation building and part of the future of Borno State. We must love and care for each other. We have witnessed so much hatred and violence. Our hearts have been too consumed by agony. We must use the remaining space in our hearts to love and to share love and brotherhood”.

The Governor also explained that majority of the family members have been found to be innocent of the violence of the Boko Haram insurgents contrary to the wish of some members of the public who want the sins of insurgents meted on their families.

“There are some part of our citizens that may be raising eye brows whenever we are seen taking custody, loving and caring for families of members of the Boko Haram insurgents whether their widows or their children”
