I cannot answer for Obi. I honestly believe that both Obi and Atiku are too proud to form a coalition. Both of them lost their chances in 2023. I don't support Tinubu either but if Atiku is the only opposition figure then I will rather vote for Tinubu to continue.

My wife only spend her income on herself, her family, relatives. I still take care of her own personal needs. This also applies to many of my married friends and family members. I have friends in America too that cater for their family up to 75% despite having a working class wife. It is like a norm for most Igbo men anyway, except the man is seriously struggling financially. We Igbo men derive joy and pride in being the sole provider in our marriage. It could be a bad practice based on today's norms but that's how most of us Igbo men are wired.

One of the underlying reasons for marriage is economic advantage so I don't believe in having a wife that will refuse to add value to me financially. Not in the sense of giving me money to spend but taking responsibility for the home and contributing to our collective needs.

If you and your wife cannot pull resources together to achieve more thsn what you alone can achieve then she is a minus to you and not a plus
