Onewazobia: What about Gbile Akanne? For those that knows him, I think he meets all the requisite of a 'father' And that is why the big churches don't like Gbile Akani. They will never invite him to teach in their churches or conventions. The man speaks truth without respect for persons... Gbile remains one of the best, if not the best bible teacher of our lifetime because he is not focused on building a denominational brand. |

Exousiang01: Enugu is an ancient city. It was already partly developed during the colonial times Just like Ibadan was the largest city in Africa during the colonial times. It is only an illiterate that looks at a city with storey buildings and roof that are hundred years old and then insult the city instead of appreciating the early civilization.
In the city of London, Paris, Istanbul, Rome, Madrid and other major cities around the globe we have these old buildings, hundreds of years old. These same set of Nigerians gi there take pictures and kiss the walls, but when they see buildings of the same age in South West Nigeria, they throw insults.... Please give me the definition of hate again But igbo people here always insult Ibadan people na. They call Ibadan brown roof city |

Israel killed `over 200 Civilians yesterday in Lebanon (with many hundred more wounded), just yesterday alone, with over two Thousand Lebanese Civilians killed sin the last One Month.. Israel shelled UN Headquarters in Lebanon and killed Four UN peace keepers from India and Bangladesh.
How many Civilians has Hezbollah (and even Iran) killed, inside Israel? The answer should tell you who the real terrorist is.
Only Terorist Nations bomb over 200 Universities (Sharavz University in Iran is described as the MIT of the Middle East), over 600 Hospitals bombed, more than 30 Ancient Christian Institutions bombed, Churches and Mosques bombed, Journalists bombed, Doctors and Healthcare Officers murdered. Tinubu couldn't pay teachers salaries when he was governor which earned him the nickname "ojuyobo" He was constantly fighting his deputy and house of reps. Tinubu changed deputy twice - femi Pedro and bucknor. He doesn't want opposition or anybody that will rival his influence. There was never opposition until GRV in 2023. Jimi agbaje and Jandor work for Tinubu as figure head opposition. Tinubu denied Fashola 2nd term because he was making waves until lagosians said no to him. All he is after is tax, spend, steal, collect more loans, victimise opposition and keep being godfather . I pity those who are campaigning for Tinubu. The people going to court are opposition members. Mr Nafiu Bala Gombe was in ADC before the Criminal coalition members arrived. He is a citizen and has the right to demand for what rightfully belongs to him. The ruling party will not help you placate a man you stole from. Do the right thing and give him back what belongs to him or the court will step up and protect him from the scavengers. Don't be naive chief. You and I know that all the divisions within opposition parties is sponsored directly by Tinubu exactly what he has been doing in Lagos . Bosman17: The first way to industrialise Nigeria is to remove subsidy on power supply so more investors can invest in all the sectors: generation, transmission and distribution. If there is constant electricity, industrialisation is a given! But let’s be honest, are we ready to pay for a it? Most Nigerians want power supply but want it cheap! Electricity is not cheap! Ok so an increase from 33 naira per unit to 250 naira per unit is not expensive enough in your opinion. Perhaps you will be happy when they increase it to 1000 per unit |

Says who? I can actually bet with you that even if Tinubu loses, INEC and Tinubu judges will ring him in and if citizens protest they will use police and tout to crush the orotest. The only way to have avoided Tinubu was for him to never become president. What we have today is not democracy....it's complete and total state capture exact replica of what you have in Lagos. And guess what ? Sometimes a president like Tinubu is more difficult to remove than a proper military government. I don't believe in the next election .... The people will have their say but INEC and judges will have their way |

Politics › Re: Petrol To Hit ₦1,000/litre As Crude Crosses $70 — Marketers by Iamzik: 8:15am On Feb 01 |
nairalanda1: Assuming government kept subsidy, it would have to increase the amount that it spends subsidizing fuel prices with every rise in crude oil price beyond what was originally budgeted for
That means that for the budget, money that could have gone for health, education, etc would be spent on subsidy and government would have to borrow more than it planned to fill the hole left in by subsidy cost going up.
That means growing debt which means bad news for the economy and the population.
At some point the debt would be so high that things would start getting difficult But the debt is still growing despite the removal. Even the president is going abroad for medical treatment in the name of state visits. How much was saved from subsidy removal and what was it used for? If you take unbiased look at all the resultant hardship and inflation that followed this unplanned subsidy removal you will see that it is actually cheaper for government to pay the subsidy provided they plug all the leakages and inefficiency around subsidy payment. Many companies were making fake subsidy claims without importing fuel and that quadrupled the subsidy cost. Subsidy in itself is not bad like APC tried to convince Nigerians. Every country have subsidy... education, healthcare, oil etc. Removing every form of subsidy and increasing taxes, floating dollar, hiking interest rates etc are very conflicting policies but let's keep defending it because we belong to APC |
