Any how u want to say it,the truth is many civil servants are in precarious situation now than any other time in their working history.

I am a civil servant and I know what I am saying. Just that some were lucky for having worked else where before joining service but the reality is that,many of us aren't meeting up.

The next generation of civil servants would retire and end up depending on their children,family members and friends at their old age.

I know some would say God forbid but the odds are terrible against them here. Most civil servant have no untagged savings,no retirement savings,no personal savings and only depend on cooperative loans and all sorts.

It is becoming scary on a daily basis for my colleagues and friends in the civil service and even bad for those who are just retiring.

It is now obvious to everyone that civil servants aren't well treated in their own country,the wage is nothing to compare with,entitlements or gratuities is delayed and has been the norm after retirement.
