Politics › Re: Why Governor Alex Otti Should Join The APC To Secure Abia’s Future by ibechris(m): 8:12am On Apr 29, 2025 |
Otti has told u guys that he is not a desperate politician.
After his 8yrs,he is going to retire no continuation.
No senate
No ministerial seat.
No appointments.
He would be done.
For Abia state, our future is secured not until he joins criminals gangs in APC and for Otti, he can not hand over to criminals like his predecessors did.
So,leave Abia state alone.
If Anambra can survive with APGA,we can do better with the Labour party. |

GboyegaD: Did you say Nigeria wasn't affected by the global crisis in 2008? Ask those in oil and gas particularly downstream and those in the financial service market if they truly were not affected greatly. I was in the financial industry and I am speaking from experience...we were economically better off at that time. U can Google the statistics for further findings. |

cococandy: This is beyond APC policies actually. Even in America, many men still struggle with the concept of evolving to do more than financial provision.
Capitalism thrives on greed and that greed has led to lesser income in relation to inflation as time goes by. That’s why one income is hardly enough for most households all over the world.
As the world has gradually adjusted to needing two incomes for sustenance, women have had to increasingly become equal or sometimes greater financial partners in their marriages. As women are evolving to adapt to this new world, men are staying behind in the older mindset that taking on more “feminine” roles is emasculating for them. It’s all over not just Nigeria although ours is on steroids. Why are u comparing Nigeria with America? American economy is about 390yrs,far older than our economy. America is simply fighting a trade war and not just an economy issue. Why is Ghana, ivory Coast and even Brazil not going through what we are facing? In 2008,the world faced a terrible economic recession of all time, but Nigeria under Shamsudeen Usman as the then Finance minister, made it such that it never affected our economy but this terrible agbero president couldn't prove a point one bit. |

How people in govt are blaming those opposition makes me feel sorry for my country men and women.
Those in Tinubu's govt should accept that they have failed the people.
People are going through alot of pains ranging from inadequate income,to unbearable high cost of living. A level 12 woman in my office couldn't sustain with her meagre income despites the fact that her husband is also a civil servant.
They obviously beg to meet with their monthly expenses.

Pretty sure I've seen stores in other parts of the world sell the same. We don't have Walmart here. In principle,Nigerians weren't known to buy half bread or cut yams and that hasn't been our culture. The standard of living has eroded and the peoples income have seriously depleted beyond measure, hence the hullabaloo. |

People really don't understand how bad things have gotten in Nigeria.
Even middle-class stores are now finding ways to cater to customers that APC is pushing deeper into poverty.
Who would have ever imagined that supermarkets would start selling half loaves of bread?

Adblg0610: What about the following facts behind the figures listed above: 1. Most of the so called GDPs were superficial. 2.Nigeria is an import- dependent economy. 3. Our economy had been largely supported by fuel subsidies and unrealistic exchange rates. 4. We cannot even feed ourselves. 5. Some of these past administrations even borrowed to pay salaries and other current expenditures. 6. As at the time Tinubu came, our debt to revenue ratio was 112:100, which means we were even using debt to pay debt.
Tinubu deserves commendations and not condemnation Are u are educated. Do u know what GDP stands for ? IMF warned Tinubu against spending Nigeria money any how. Is that the one that deserves commendation, how now? |

Those who are supporting Tinubu and rooting for him are already in abject poverty.
80% of them are in serious poverty and some of them want others to join them in that wretchedness, hence their major reason for supporting him while the rest are simply for tribal domination. |

Helpout12345: Since you can afford to pay 2M per year to rent, I will advise you to look for a property to buy. There are properties where you can put down payment and spread the rest over some years. I am guessing you are living in a major city like Lagos or Abuja or Portharcourt etc.
If not, move out of his house and find another place to rent. You are not a poor renter and they just want to take advantage of that. Yes, Abuja. I am preparimg to get my tax clearance to start processing my building approval. I felt bad honestly. |
