I'm a stranger in Ogoniland located in Rivers state. I recently had my Huawei mate series smartphone Stolen when I fell asleep at my corridor in a fenced compound with gates . This happened between 2a.m and 3a.m. Took the matter to the police but no headway. The people here are talking of doing findings at the native doctors place where they claim will identify the theif and can cause the thief to return the phone back by himself. My question is do these things really work? Are they mere superstitions? If it really work, I wonder how the British were able to capture the oba of Benin. Who would have been more jazzed up than he? |
Which is more profitable side hustle in Nigeria? Laundry, pos or gas filling business. Thanks for your advice in advance |

This is the door locked. It is now clear how the snake came in. There is enough space underneath the door for a snake to squiz its way through, and a hole in the base frame where the snake could hide in. I'm told bitter kola can ward off snakes . Please can any anyone tell me how to apply the bitter Kola? Thanks |

Firstly, Glory be to Jesus Christ for sparing my life. I am in a remote area in Ogoniland as a Lagos visitor engaged in some contract hustle. Here we don't have electricity I rented a self contained (actually it is the second apartment I have rented in my short stay here as I abandoned the first apartment after 5 days along with the rent money to the landlady when locals told me she was a popular herbalist having a 'mammywater' spirit) .To the point, I woke up twice this night due to nightmares but the third time I woke up from sounds of something moving into obstructions which I presumed was a wall gecko or cockroach or so. I got my torch on , then I saw a brownish red snake by my documents and other minor obstructions such as polythene bag next to my feet. My sleepy eyes suspected a worm, but as my sight got clearer I saw a long fat redish brown snake close to my leg. I jumped up and stood on my bed. The shock was so much that I couldn't take the picture. After staring at the snake for about two minutes, the snake retreated to the iron door which I would have thought was perfectly sealed , snake or even worm proof. Seathing about the base of the door, it suddenly escaped underneath the main door (despite the fact that the door has no visible clearance) as though defying the laws of physics. This event occured around 3:00 a.m , as I type I'm still on my feet, standing on my bed., can't lie down, can't sleep. Wonder how I'll ever sleep again here with both eyes closed. I had no weapon to kill, considering it is long I had to be careful. Thought of boiling water to pour on it , but it escaped before then. This is the second life threatening experience in just about two days, on Saturday God saved me from a potential accident. I just want to give all the Glory to God. |

Their customer care are thieves and unprofessional try will try to frustrate the customer and.roducule him over his funds which they have stolen |
Weezyclan:Thanks |
This is my sincere advixe
|
Don't use them so you won't lose your funds |
3 days ago I transferred 3950 mairamto.palmpay, palmpay refused to update my status or account with the funds but rather wrote processing and later wrote processing failed. Then the next day I transferred 9100 to palmpay account , withdrew 5100 only to find out that my balance of 4000 has been wiped off. Their customer care will only add to the frustration as they will tease you, waste your time and give no explanation for their actions but wait for you to get tired and forget your money

What is the official minimum wage in Nigeria? For those in private sector what is the minimum amount by law required to pay workers? I am not a labour lawyer but I believe wage award is different from minimum eage |
I've been working in an Asian company since 2017, then my salary was 70k, but it fluctuates up and down currently I've been at 100k for the past 3 years or so. Recently I was transferred to a village with no electricity and the salary remains the same. I'm an engineering graduate from one of the top federal Universities in the south west. Nevertheless, I've come to a stage where I'm considering business, given my set-aside capital of about 1million naira, and because of the Sunday to Sunday work schedule, I am considering quitting, inorder to start either a barbing shop, POS, or bike business . Do you think it is a good idea? |
