Interview was 7 August 2025, 2 verification has taken place yet he are still waiting for embassy No reply Till now ..this IS confusing..do they do verification for some and dont do for Others?

Oh it is so disheartening, i hope the husband or wife did not miss any email or post from either Lagos embassy or the ABH.
I suggest that, they should reachout to the embassy/ ABH via email.

Yes some are verified while some are not verified.
I think the need for verification is based on the outcome of your interview and the documents submitted.

*25 October 2025*: A1 Exam.
*19 December 2025* : Appointment date received.
*15 January 2026* : Interviewed. It went smoothly.
*19 January 2026* : ABH contacted my wife to fill a form&submit documents.
*31 January 2026*: Documents sent.
*4 February 2026*: Passport & Insurance requested.
*17 February 2026*: Passport/Visa received.
*Arrived in Germany this week*.

*Wifey is a Nigerian/German Citizen.
*No lawyer verification.

Original bank statement, leave letter, bank reference letter, reference letter from your employers, your introduction letter, your flight itenrary, medical insurance, and hotel reservation.
Others are duplicates, but it is advised you make copies of all your documents apart from bank statement which might be voluminous

Please I need your help. There are certain documents I want to go submit in France (for school) and the school didn't give me an invitation letter. They said I should apply for a tourist visa. The problem is I'm not working and I'm just about to apply for a university. My mother is the one footing everything. Please guys when applying for tourist visa can a sponsor be used? Can I submit my mother's bank statement alongside my own bank statement stating the sufficient amount of money needed for the duration of my stay is in my account? Please let me know. It's kind of urgent. If for a 1 week/10 day visa.

I see no reason why a school will ask you to apply for a tourist Visa just to submit some documents.
Kindly do a check on the school you are in contact with to avoid fraud issues. Hope dem never send invoice for you to make payment sha?

1. You can’t use same email
2. It won’t allow you attach same passport and phone number.
3. Make another application with another email, then call TLS, it will be submitted for you and appointment made.
4. The other one will expire in 10days .
5. I don’t know why they refused to cancel or give an option to do that rather than make applicants go through all these.

I mistakenly booked an appointment for Tuesday and the payment failed and now I have been trying to modify it but to no avail.
Can I create a different application and choose my required day using same email or i should create another email?

No I don't think so

If you have a work contract with pre approval you can get an appointment within 3weeks.
I don't think an employer would have the grace to wait for an Employee for over 1 year to get an appointment. They better tell us that the option for work Visa without pre approval is not viable.

I don't think it matters that much. I also have a German passport and work as a SW engineer for an automotive OEM, but yet the embassy are not making the process for my wife any faster due to that regard. The earlier you apply for the appointment date, the earlier you receive an appointment which for now is 1 year waiting time. The best you could do for yourself is go through the checklist and compile all the required documents before hand.

You most likely would have it a lot faster if your spouse had a blue card (is a special residence title for foreign academics who wish to take up qualified employment in Germany) as this would have the embassy skip the document verification process.
