MeghaneMorgane: I’m currently in a relationship where both my guy and I are very petty. If my guy does something I don’t like, I tell him the first time, if he does the same thing the second time, I don’t talk too much and I just give him the exact taste of the same medicine. It works every time and he adjusts immediately. Same for him when he tells me he doesn’t like something if I don’t adjust, he will give me the exact taste of my medicine. So far, it’s been working for both of us because we both adjust accordingly. My question is that I hope this petty behaviour from my guy and I is not a toxic one? If it is not toxic that’s good. But at what point does this behaviour become toxic? NB: So far, this petty behaviour has been working well for the both of us.
I’ll give an example of our petty behaviour. My boyfriend went to visit his mum. 24 hours after being at his mum’s place, he didn’t pick my call and he didn’t call me either, and he didn’t respond to the numerous messages I left on his phone. I was so worried, I had to call his mum and told his mum to give him the phone. His mum gave him the phone. His mum also confirmed to me that my boyfriend had arrived 24 hours before I called her so it wasn’t a case of him playing games with me. Obviously I was very angry and I asked him why he wasn’t picking my calls. His response was that he is busy. That he will call me when he is done with the job he was doing. I said ok. I didn’t call him again until he called me. He called me a day and half after speaking with him on his mum’s phone. All the while I was lamenting to his mum how her son has refused to call me or pick my calls. His mum kept consoling me that he will call me immediately he finished what was doing. Guess what?, when I went to visit my own parents, I did exactly the same thing to him. He was so angry. Since then he hasn’t tried that rubbish again. Then we had to promise each other to always pick each other’s call even if we are very busy. Since then we’ve been picking each other’s calls.
That's a very unhealthy relationship

WannaHowzit: Nomcebo Zuma, the sassy 21-year-old daughter of former South African president Jacob Zuma was this week unveiled as King Mswati III’s liphovela (an official girlfriend) and made her first public appearance in eSwatini (formerly Swaziland) along with one of the monarch’s 15 wives.
Three independent sources confirmed to Sunday World that King Mswati is expected to pay 2 million rands (175 million naira) and 100 head of cattle aslobolo for Nomcebo, the daughter of Zuma and Nonkululeko Hloniphile Mhlongo, also known as MaMhlongo.

Nomcebo will now warm the 56-year-old king’s bed even after her father, Zuma, stormed out of the lobolo negotiations two weeks ago.
After Zuma walked out, MaMhlongo, who has two children with the former president, apparently told everyone that the negotiations would go on with or without him.
She and Zuma couldn’t be reached for comment.
Nomcebo, dressed in red Swati regalia, made her first public appearance accompanied by the king’s 15th wife, Siphelele Mashwama, during the opening of a R50-million chicken project in Malkerns, eSwatini, on Monday.
Zuma abandoned lobolo negotiations when it turned out that the king, who had initially reportedly told him that he wanted his son, who is in his 30s, to marry the former president’s daughter, only to be told during the negotiations that the king wanted Nomcebo for himself.
Last week Sunday World reported that a livid Zuma walked out of the talks, telling a family member that he felt betrayed by the king, who had sent a delegation to the Nxamalala homestead in Nkandla, northern KwaZulu-Natal.
An insider told Sunday World: “I’ve never seen uNxamalala (Zuma) losing it like that. He tried to hide it, but you could tell he was angry. He just stood up and said seniyosala niqhubeka bafana bakithi (I won’t be a part of this, you will have to carry on without me, my brothers). He then left.”
Sunday World also reported that the king’s roving eye has also caused a stir among his wives, who had believed that there wouldn’t be any further additions to the family as his majesty was getting old and had not taken a new wife in recent years.
The king’s spokesperson, Percy Simelane, said he couldn’t comment on the king’s private life.
“It is our principle not to comment about the king’s private life in the media.”

TechCapon: I've been meaning to write this for some time but keep procrastinating. But something happened recently that made me decide to write this today, I'll keep it short and straight to the point.
A friend of mine met this slim, tall, pretty girl and they've been getting along real good. But the girl is always very active in church, and I mean very active. She goes to church almost every day. After work, it's straight to the church whether there's service or not she must find an excuse to go.
Omo, it was a big red flag for me but I didn't say anything to my guy even though he's complaining about it to me. She practically neglect her own life. This church has like 4 services and she attends all 4 and still hang around afterwards, and also follow the pastor and his family back to their house to help with chores.
She entered one chance vehicle one night after her pastor kept her busy in the church until almost midnight and she got robbed of everything and flung out of the speeding car. She treated the injuries for over two months and she stayed without a phone until my guy eventually bought her a phone. Not a dime from the pastor
They'll be together and immediately she receives a call from pastor she gets up like a robot and leaves no matter what. Her excuse is that she's a worker in the church so she can't abandon her role (are you the only worker in that church??)

She's always broke, not even a dime in her name and I'm pretty sure where all her salary is going... Church. She'll collect money from my guy to fulfill her pledge in church and goes back to being broke. It was so bad, I can keep going on and on.

I laughed at my guy and told him point blank to dump her as$$ because even if pastor managed to approve, they'll give him conditions and still force him to join the church and the pastor will have a say in every aspect of the marriage. Her father is alive and she doesn't mention him at all, it's only pastor that makes all the decisions. It's a big turn off.
I've made up my mind that I'll scrutinize any girl I want to marry very well and see if she has this bad trait in her before I proceed.
