With this quote, you can now see he was a free thinker, who has removed all obstacles for you to seek out your salvation. Even if you think God does not exist, this single quote accommodates you because you are your own mentor(lamp), also if you think God, through being guide to yourself and your thought, this single quote accommodates you. Most of budhi's teachings are logical and practicable.
You may try to say, as a Christian, I am also a Buddhist, but nothing can be further from the truth, because as a Buddhist, shifting your believe is tolerated(you can move out of Christianity if you wish) but as a Christian, it leads to hell. i.e. Buddhism accommodates even those that does not accommodate its teachings. So my sister, as much as you don't place restrictions to your level of free thinking, you are a Buddhist.

Like i said earlier,freethinkers include all who can think rationally independent of any religious,traditional or social indices,buddism included. I made no exception,so i think we ar on d same track only differing on what qualifies u as one. If u feel a freethinker is a buddist who can engage in any religion and stil tink independently devoid of sentiments Dats fine by me. Like i said earlier freethinkers are able to see beyond various sentimental indices using a rational thought system. That said yes anyone can b a freethinker if u can look beyond whether u prefer to call them buddists or not,generally they ar all known as freethinkers.

When uv decided to go into dating,uv automatically decided to open up ursef to ur partner since dating involves getting to know yourselves better. That said sex is not an xception in getting to know ursefs,if it is then u also have to start asking yourself this question
Why do we kiss yl dating?
Why do we show affection yl dating?
Why do we show love and care yl dating?
Why do we feel happy yl dating the one u love? This and so many oda numerous questions shud be askd as they are in no way diffrnt frm sex.

For me i am an agnostic and a freethinker, so i have no problem getting married to an atheist just i have no problem bin with an african traditional worshipper. But then its not even a matter of the ideology,for me its a matter of personality and what works for me and most importantly it is d liberality,openmindedness ,intelligence and d bravery of the other person to b able to accept that others have a right to their own beliefs and thoughts in as much as they adhere to the golden rule,*love your neigbour as yourself*
