Who says Igbo are not living in other parts of Nigeria? During the oil boom in the 70s, Gowon invested a lot in Lagos with the oil proceeds. The national theater was built, many bridges and roads were constructed also.

Gowon introduced the 3rs policy yet, reconstruction started in Lagos even though, a mortar never fell in Lagos. Lagos had a special attention during Gowon's administration. The funding for the construction of the bridges, roads and, other infrastructures came from the oil producing parts of Igbo land and, other oil producing areas. That been said, Igbos were living in Lagos before the amalgamation and independence of Nigeria and, that was way before your parents migrated from Ile ife. Now you think you can dictate to the Igbos living in Lagos?

This migration has exceeded by far those figures and need to stop. Secondly oil is not in ibo land. Thirdly ibos are all over Yorubaland and not just lagos....remember the flogging of your king in akure by the Deji Fourthly.....Abuja has much more oil spent on it than lagos....please kindly face that side. Fifthly....only lagos island was the capital and that was for only 18 Years....why not go to other former capitals like calabar and lokoja?
