tylann:Because they were growing so fast 10pct Vs your 4.7pct (2017, the year they briefly overtook Kenya). Just because you are from a low base doesn't mean you can't catch up, but you have to grow astronomically fast. China's growth for the past 1-2 decades has been double/triple that of US but it's yet to catch up because it was coming from a low base. If it was Germany or Japan or UK/France growing that fast, they would have overtaken the United States. |
NairobiWalker:1. Kenya closed the gap because of recession. Right now the gap is increasing, you can verify for yourself 2. They were not growing fast enough. Simple. The gap between Kenya and Ethiopia right now is about 20bn, Kenya's growth is 6pct Ethiopia 8.pct, you'll expect them to catch up in the next five years right? But no, the gap between Kenya and Ethiopia will be steady for 2-3 years then Kenya will slowly and surely pull ahead (base on the current growth projections) again you can verify for yourself. 3. Regardless my point still stands, it doesn't matter if Tanzania is growing faster than Kenya or not, the gap between these two countries will keep increasing because of a low base. Unless Kenya goes into recession, slow down to a crawl and TZ doubles it's growth rate. |
tylann:Sure |
NairobiWalker:Because they are coming from a low base? The Same reason Kenya is growing faster than Nigeria, yet the gap keep increasing. |

Just30:Zenith Bank gh disagrees with you. I didn't even bother to count them, but I am sure they are more than 30. https://www.zenithbank.com.gh/branches/ |
rvp2018:Yeah, they have smaller population but are all classified as Least Developed Countries (LDC) So our level of development is higher than them. Nigeria is classified as developing country. Same as China true but geographical location also a plays a role in literacy rate. USA and it's two neighbours are all classified as developed countries, USA has the lowest literacy rate among the two. |
Just30:True. jungle warfare can be taught in two weeksJust checked, can be taught even in a week |
Just30:it's either you guys are training them or vice versa, coz even the world largest military exercise does not take up to 6months. |
vaxx:First: you were the one boasting about training some Nigerian military generals not me. Second: How long was the training? if it's about a week, it's clearly a joint exercise coz there is no way in hell you can learn jungle warfare in a week or two. So tell us the duration let's judge by our self if it's training or joint military exercise. 1stwhat is the meaning of course and trainning. you lots needs education . and they are many Nigeria General that received millitary training in Ghana. In military terms? Course can mean anything from a full military training to a two days seminar. Buhari was a student of NDA, then he attended two military courses in USA, should we then say that he was trained in America? That said, I checked, obj did indeed trained in Ghana, but that was before the formation of NDA, same can be said for all those who trained there too. |
Just30:Emmmm nope. It's clearly stated "training" and since when do people get disqualified from "joint exercise"? Six months joint exercise! It's not done. |

technicality and trainning ghana leads .Yeah, which is why your naval sbs personnel are trained in Nigeria, they even wear our SBS patch https://www.vanguardngr.com/2017/09/internal-security-nn-trains-special-force-conventional-warfare-air-assault/amp/ Nigeria General were trainned in Accra (for example) obasonjo1st: Were 2nd: obasanjo attended a course, yes but trained no. |
