The main difference here is that transnational corporations do not identity with a particular country unlike multinationals.

Eco Bank is a transnational Corporation so every country operates with relative freedom unlike multinational companies where they answer to their parent headquarters in another country. Example eco bank nigeria, Kenya and Ghana all operates independently, but UBA Ghana and Kenya are under UBA nigeria

What politicians get away with in some African countries is shocking, but because so much attention is on Nigeria (in terms of corruption), it goes unnoticed. Imagine a governor in a certain country calling the media to the commissioning of his "office chairs" . Even local government chairmen here aren't that stupid
