I can now see its a crime to have a genuine information and bring it to the hearing of all in the forum. Anyway, am sorry if i have hurt anybody. I really understand your pain and i will be the last person to be self-centered on this forum. I want you all to know that if we are all provided admission, i guess i wont be harm in anyway and if i was provided admission and others denied, this wont add anything to my blessings. Well, if those information of yours are factual and accurate, then i pray we all study, wine and dine in this great UNIVERSITY. I love you all. |
Everything could be possible under the short run but the First School Leaving Certificate (F.S.L.C.) will be the problem. All schools(primary & secondary) are now on break, and will resume back not sooner than 11th of Jan. All i want to know is, how important is this (F.S.L.C.) to this registration? |
Thanks for the information supplied, but i have some important questions to ask. What else are we suppose to bring? 1) such as Local Gov. Identification, 2) Sworn Affidavit, 3) birth certificate, 4) Reference letter etc., as you know, Lagos is not a place you can just come and go at any time and at just your will. Please, try to be elaborate on what is really required. |
How do we go about the registration procedures. I mean, how much is the school fee? how is accommodation? what are the requirements? O'level result, jamb certificate, birth certificate, is that all? how about Sworn Affidavit, Local Gov. Identification, it will be very hurt if i finally find out that, i still have something to pick in lagos while i thought i have left lagos for Zaria with all required documents. Please, can someone help with the listing of the required documents and other things? once again, for all student awaiting second list, forget it, there nothing like second list. |
Hello my fellow nairalanders, its a pity there is no second list, everything has been compressed in the last one. A lecturer told me this, that there will be no second list and that's why it took them so long to release the list. And again, if you notice when checking your name on the internet, if you are admitted, you will be congratulated and if not, it reads "you are not admitted, try again next session". The truth is bitter but we have to say it. Am sorry. |
Well for everybody to understand my point, i will stress it further by sharing my own experience with all. It was really a divine intervention by Almighty Allah. We(my friend and i) knew nobody when we choose ABU as our 1st choice while filling the jamb form, even up till when the Post UME was conducted but we were determined not to come home, after taking this long tough risky journey, without success. So, we gave it everything we had, strength, humility, hard-work and humbleness. We submitted the photocopies of our credentials to people we knew nothing about, but of trustworthy characters, most especially, a lecturer in accounting, who was just an invigilator in my hall during the Post UME. We approached him after the exam and you need to see how lucky we were to approach a humble man like him. Initially we were afraid to approach him but we summoned courage knowing fully well that he cannot kill or harm us just for mere approach. It would have been the worst and most regrettable mistake of our life if we hadn't approached him. He collected our credentials, submitted them when each lecturer of the department were asked to bring forth their candidates' credentials. All these we did without giving out a dine to anybody and don't forget that he wasn't the only one, we gave it to other people, A graduating student, a lecturer in Samaru and this God-sent lecturer. That's our story and i want everyone to learn from this that and build yourself from here. Allah first and all other things follow. I love you all.` |

Congratulations to those who finally made the list in Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. To those who did not make the list, is not the end of the world. I can really feel your pain and i must tell you that, i have been in this situation before, i almost lost my spiritual relationship with Allah when i wasn't admitted in OAU last year. I want us to gain from each other, that's why i have chosen to make this topic a thread for all Abu candidates(admitted and non-admitted) in order to share experience on how everybody went about his or her own admission processes so as to enable those who lost the admission to benefit from those who gained admission. |
congratulations to all those who have seen there names most especially @xrazzy in wish you a successful spell in ABU. I wish in had known my own faith right now but it seems i have to wait till the list is pasted on the website as i don't have anyone to check the list for me. Anyone with the accurate and actual time the list will be pasted on the site? please, i need help right now. once again, congratulations to all ABU freshers. |
If at all its pasted tonight, how do you think we are going to check it? Will it be pasted just like that for all to see or will there be procedures? |
My fellow nairalanders, please what is the latest news over there in ABU, will this list still be uploaded on the official website tonight? |
i will like to be more updated please anyone with more news should contact me on this email: owoniyiibrahim@yahoo.com. i am online right now on my yahoo msg and i will also be online for the larger part of the day. |
To me, is not about the list being released but its about my name being on the list. That's when i will rejoice and you will feel my happiness wherever you are. Anyway, i wish everybody good luck. I love you all. |
Wait till 27th of Dec.? huh! too tough to swallow. Am dying at home. i just want a consolation and teasing news to keep the hope alive. |
To my fellow nairalanders, someone broke the news on here that ABU Adnission list for 2009/2010 will be released today 8th Dec. The news initially was that it will be released this week i.e 2nd week of December while in some other quarters, the rumour is "before the end of this month" which one are we to believe. Anyone with factual update? |
Hey Babiesluv, to check your result, you will have to follow the process you took when you were registering for your PUME. Although, i check mine immediately it was released and some months later i still check it and it open just the way you register. try it |
Anybody with info on when ABU Admission list for 2009/2010 session will be out? |
