Pls... Has anyone collected his or her passport at ibadan... 32pgs to be precise.... I even offer ma contact additional fee to speed it up but... Saying no booklet. That it will soon be available.. I need it badly early nxt month. Paid exhorbitant fee for the conference am going for. Another war is to get closer appointment date at lagos us embassy. Pls any update?

This is the easiest thing the CBP can do for travellers who intends to stay back. Xplain to them and your visa will be converted to LPR or even a CITIZEN

Oh ladyGuinivere it's, not easy to accept defeat just like that.. So much has been spent for the cofference registration and some other things to a week hotel booking which cost almost $1200 for few days and you think he should just let go of the conference which is starting 17th.. He has nothing to hide and i believe he is going to get it this time around.. All he needs is to explain himself real good and sound interesting to the VO. Thanks for your kind word.

Thanks for the response. Though the conference is "May 2017". If i was granted the visa, i know i will have to renew d passport and travel along with the new and old passport.. Can i apply with the old passport? If granted, i will renew ma passport and if not i will have to wait till i have intention of travelling.

Ma second question is...
I was denied a visa dis month and hoping to reapply again on same conference nxt year. I hope it is not too early to reapply?
(2) I want the interview should be Jan nxt year. Hope is not too far to d date of conference?

Hello the gurus in the house.

I have some questions to ask my well intelligent pple.

(1) I want to reapply by nxt year and want ma interview date be Jan 2017. My passport expires by Aug 2017. Am i good to go since it is 6month befor d xpiration. Wont this bounce back on me?

(2) can some informations be changed in ds160 form? If at all there is a minor mistake in the previous filling of the form. (Not ma occupation but d year of ma school leaving)

(3) During the interview, is there any permanent record of d interview btw the consulate and the applicant. If at all there was a mistake on response in the previous interview?

Pls Kindly help on these questions.

I had ma interview today and i was denied. The old man in window 8 was nt friendly at all. He supposed to have retired. Majority was just frowning and smilling with maturity. Its painful anyway but the code of the conduct is to keep trying until God say amen. Can i re apply like nxt year february? Do you think its worth making ma situation change? Pls advise

Whether you are selected or not for the visa lottery, does that mean they have ur records despite not been fingerprinted or show up to the embassy?

Ma interview is in next month which is early march. I am a Doctor going for conference base on ma profession. Just want to ask if i need to attach ma marriage certificate to the document i'm taking along. i am going alone, no family attache.. Or anything you think it will be necessary to take along so that i will not be left dumbfolded. This is ma first time applying though.

Because i read it in this thread that we should not mention the conference.. How are my going to answer this?

I need your immense advise on ma visa application. while filling the application, it requested for the uploading of the passport photograph (600×600pixel) which I did but declining it. I have been on this for a week but all to no avail. I just want to ask of I can omit it and proceed to appointment date. would this not backfire on me on the day of interview. would it not pose any problem? advice needed pls.
