And "I love you too" is not the only response that can come out of it. Yes, a smart guy would use it to tease her. I might respond with, "Of course, you love me. I'm a spec", or something along those lines

It doesn't mean that I don't love her. In fact if I'm married to you, you can damn well be sure that I do love you, else you won't be living in my house, under my roof, bearing my name, eating my food, and getting pleasured on a steady.

Then she cut the call, few minutes later she called back with angry voice that I just made her loose 10k awoof , that the call was a skit one to proof of I will reciprocate in return...
