Although NYSC has seized to disturb me, I prefer to face my own work these days, but I'm with you all on this. However, I have done my part by writing against the scheme. If truth be told, the scheme no longer unify Nigerians as expected. Nigeria is becoming more divided every single day. It is a sheer hypocrisy to assume that the scheme is bringing unity. Online protest is not enough if we are serious, three day occupation of the National Assembly or Villa is more cost effective. The waste of time and resources is too much to bear. We have wasted our valuable time waiting for idiots to mobilize us, but the idiots are bringing all sort of execuses. If they cannot maintain the scheme, let them scrap it. After all, it is a complete waste of time. Guys if we are serious, we should be thinking of how to occupy NASS, YES WE CAN. It were youths that ousted dictators in the Arab spring, though we are not working to oust anyone. But we are fighting for our rights, we have maintain patience and decorum too much, few idiots are playing with our future. WE EITHER STAND UP OR PERISH AS FOOLS

I believe is high time we all wake up and scream about this act of wickedness, go to media house and complain , believe me this might be changed.. It is better for them to scrap it off, than allow few people go for this programme, leaving multitude who are qualified to also go too... whenever I think about this thing I feel like crying. I graduated August 2015, I couldn't make the Batch A, now that my name is out for Batch B NYSC is now talking about quota system. Anyway, make I no curse them now because of the situation am in now.I have resorted to prayers & I believe my God would not fail me.

I commend him though its not easy graduating with 1st class from a Nigerian university but can he really compete with other electrical engineers out there on a world wide scale? will he truly be regarded as a 1st class student outside the shores of this country? OPINION ------ if you want to study any science related course try as much as possible to study it in those western universities where you will not be HALF BAKED.

This country is a big joke. The institutions are required to mobilize about a third of the eligible graduates with the promise of giving the rest 2/3 priority next year. Now taking into cognisance that the recession is not looking to be ending any time soon, coupled with the fact that similar number of graduates will also qualify for NYSC next year, it literally means by 2018, some people who qualified this year will not still have gone for service. And mind you, some of them have been qualified since last year and some even before.

Now, without NYSC discharge or exemption certificate, you can't do your masters program, your chance of getting meaningful job opportunities is also minimal. It then means you're stuck in life because of a useless NYSC which adds little or nothing to you.

Hearing that we're the only country in Africa that does this unimportant compulsory one year service is even more hurting having in mind that we obviously to love our country the least in all of Africa.

Please Mr President #ScrapNYSC now!
