May the soul of late Miss Ifedolapo Oladepo rest in perfect peace. I want to believe that NYSC is not telling the whole truth because of my own personal experience when I served in Akwa Ibom 1992/1993. I had chicken pox while at the Orientation Camp hence had to be isolated from other corps member. An official of NYSC took me in an official car from Ikot Itie Udung in Nsit Atai local govt to Ikot Ekpene General hospital and dump me there without looking back till I was discharged after a week. Nobody from NYSC came to check on me throughout my stay at the hostipal. Even when I was discharged nobody came to pick me up. I had to pay my treatment fee, feeding fee and transport back to the Camp from my pocket. I wrote for refund with evidence of receipts but nothing of such happened till today. Assuming I died at the hospital (God forbid) a different story would have been told to the world. 1 Like 1 Share |

Funny enough, Ikpeazu went to the state high court with expatre motion to restrain INEC a federal agency from issuing Ogah a certificate of return knowing fully well that you cant sue a federal agency at the state high court. |

Even the stay of execution can only be given to him by the judge that made the first judgement the he be removed. |

If Ikpeazu can't procure a restraining order from the court to stop the execution of the judgement then he risk been the Gov. soonest. |

Filing an appeal alone those not mean a judgement can't be executed. It is only a pronouncement by the court of competent jurisdiction that give a restraining order for stay of execution of the judgement. |

The first step to be sworn in as a Gov. is for INEC to issue you a certificate of return. This is what he will take to the C.J to effect his swearing in. Moreover,until the court of appeal gives the order that the status quo be maintain until after her final judgement there is nothing the CJ or the present Gov. can do to stop Uche Ogah's swearing in. Also if Uche had been sworn in before the order of status quo is made he remain Gov until final judgement is delivered 1 Like |
