Romance › Re: "Between The One Who Stood By Me And The One Who Made Me Wealthy" by Idaytesj29(m): 6:57pm On Apr 24, 2025 |
Toks2008: There was a time when Michael had nothing but dreams. No money, no status but just raw ambition and a heart full of fire. In that season of his life, there was Ama.
Ama wasn’t flashy. She didn’t have wealth or powerful networks. But she had something far rarer...faith. Faith in Michael, even when he doubted himself. She stayed through the silent nights when failure felt loudest. She lent him her last when he couldn’t pay his rent, and even more often, she lent him her strength. She was home when life felt like war.
Years passed, and things changed, not overnight, but steadily. Michael got a chance meeting with Zara.
Zara was light years ahead. A woman of influence, class, and undeniable charm. She saw potential in Michael and had the keys to open doors he hadn’t even knocked on yet. With her connections and resources, his career soared. In just two years, Michael became the man he once only dreamed of becoming.
But with success came a dilemma: he could only choose one to walk with him through the rest of his life.
Ama still loves him but no pressure, no demands. She had only ever wanted his happiness and Zara also loves him.
One woman built him slowly, brick by brick. The other elevated him swiftly, like a jet taking flight.
So the question is...If you are in Michael's situation, who will you go for? Ama who stood by you when you had nothing or Zara who made you wealthy? Just say Acrimony 😊😁 |
Health › Re: Pastors With Tithes Can Easily Seek Care Abroad - Resident Doctors Fault Oyemade by Idaytesj29(m): 3:45pm On Apr 22, 2025 |
fergie001: Pastor Poju Oyemade, the Senior Pastor and Founder of The Covenant Nation (TCN), a Ministry headquartered in Lagos has in his sermon yesterday, which has now gone viral, claimed that Nigerian Doctors fleeing the country are ungrateful.
In Nigeria, a person will graduate as a medical doctor and spend N500,000 throughout to become a doctor. In America, you graduate from Johns Hopkins, you graduate from Harvard as a doctor, and you spend $2,000. Are you okay? Do you know how much money you spend?
Nigerians are ungrateful. They will go through everything, education. How much do they spend there? You see a Nigerian, if they tell him in Nigeria to do two jobs, he will curse your life out.
They will come to America, wake up in the morning, do first job, do second job, do Uber, and do, everything he’s doing. I said, if they put the fraction of this energy they put here in their country, they will have blown. - Oyemade
NARD responds Pastors are part of the problems in this country. They jump on the pulpit and assume the position of Jesus Christ Himself. Instead of using his platform to advocate for better pay for workers in genera and good allowances for medical doctors so that they can stay at home. He chose to demonise doctors cos they chose better life. For those touch not my anointed and do my prophet no harm gang. Una dey craze, na una drag us reach this point. Una and una pastors are part of the huge national problem drawing us back. Imagine the rubbish a supposed learned pastor is spewing! |

His physical presence isn’t always needed to make decisions or oversee things. They forgot that we are in 2025 and it's not like he will be absent for 6 months. Make children of hate and rage rest small. It's not like if they remove Tinubu or APC, they will put any of them or Apga there. It's an Aboki Fulani that will replace him, so make una rest. Kobojunkie: Remarriage is not a big deal either for a widow or a widower. The bigger issue is finding a partner who would respect and love your children the same way he/she would love his/her own. Na the children be my own concern. That's the koko. Make you no com remarry make you drop money for food, the Achalugo go give her children from her ex food with your money. Carry sokoto gari with kulikuli give your own children from your ex wife. 10 minutes to your arrival, she go use left over oil them use fry turkey fish and egg take rub their mouth. Make every body stay their lane. If you want remarry, think am well. |

nairalanda1: Won't work. We will just keep shooting and shooting people, and the root of the problem would be there.
Remember, the heart of man is evil. The best we can do is improve education, improve access to education, good health and housing, and public facilites, end corruption, and so forth.
But even if we turn Nigeria into a good country today, remember that an armed robber can in one operation net far more money than most people would see in a year. Some people prefer to surrennder to their baser natures and take that risk. Some people would rather take the easy way of crime, than work hard for a living. In their mind working hard for a living is for jokers.
It does not matter whether we do firing squad, or life in prision. Someone somehwere is always going to choose crime.
And this does not mean we should never fight or punish crime Death sentence and implementation of it is a hard decision that our leader cannot hide away from for too long. They have to do it the hard way. Crimes and criminality is too much prevalent, such hard steps has to be taken against them |

Health › Re: "Japa; Why I Won’t Leave Nigeria" Dr Anumiri Chidozie Pascal by Idaytesj29(m): 7:22pm On Apr 10, 2025 |
Nazgul: How much does the average doctor today earn in Nigeria? If you go to most private hospitals and see what they pay their doctors and nurses, you'll shed tears.
This is why they escape to saner climes once the opportunity present itself.
You can't give your all in an environment where you're not valued. I think federal govt should be paying doctors not working for them 200k a month, and state in which they are working whether private or FG hospitals should pay them 150k, thats apart from their work place pay. Then the National Private Sector Medical Funds should be set up where rich influential and business moguls and philanthropists will donate funds under the management of a committee nominated by this body of important people to pay doctors at least 300k a month and also use the rest of the money to provide medical equipments that seems to be unavailable in Nigeria at the time. That's 650k apart from their normal work renumeration, this will help us keep our best medical hands and they will help us train the young doctors just leaving medical schools. This is what I will try to do if I have political power at this time. |
