Download the official stock ROM for your phone . check needrom.com if any there matches what you need. Then place the file on your SD card.
After that, reboot your phone in to that recovery mode I.e the second pic. First of all, you have to click on "data wipe/reset" , this will wipe every info you have on your phone, and "clear cache partition" (VERY IMPORTANT) Then select on "apply update from external storage"_ from there locate the folder where you saved the stock ROM file, and then click on the file. Click Yes to start the process after that, reboot. . .

Aiit bro, I will surely give it a try and give you feedback on how it goes. I already have a download of the stock rom from sammobile....so I guessed I can go ahead with the process and if I may ask, does the second picture shows I have a custom recovery installed on my phone?

before flashing any rom, did you make back up of the stock rom via recovery or you did not install custom recovery on it.as for the flashing with odin, you have to put the device in download modes.will never advice one to root a device without flashing custom recovery on it. Either teamwin recovery projuect (twp) or clockworkmod (cwm) should be installed before trying to do any other thing.

I don't think so, I just downloaded the stock rom for my phone on sammobile then I flashed with odin and yes it was on download mode before I flash.

Not getting the 'custom recovery' you are saying....either back up or installing

don't know what you mean but if it is stock rom.....then I have the one for my phne which is i337.....

did you flash the rom you want to upgrade to, if yes, then problem lies in the updated rom you were trying to upgrade to. This is because the rom has been processed and since its not a stock rom, no matter how you factory reset and wipe caches via recovery, it will still get stuck.you have to revert back to stock rom or flash another rom.


This is one reason i always advice one to make backup of their stock rom after properly rooting their device. Odin and stock rom should be your best shot

I have done booting to recovery mode.....have wiped data/factory reset, clear the cache partition but yet it refused to boot to home screen.

Note: My phone is rooted and it is an at&t version i337

I have also downloaded my phone version stock rom on sammobile and flashed with Odin3v9 but I keep getting FAIL immediately after I click on START

This is not the first time I spoke with him. I have received items through him before. He has also called me before to tell me my items have arrived. I called several times today alone. I don't think I have to be introducing myself every time I call someone I have called several times before. I used the same number on the package to call him not a different number. That is the logic, they are scammers everywhere and if the best thing for @charles to do is to ask you the simple question 'what is your name'...... I think to me is not a bad question to ask. You can't just call someone and tell him 'as the shipment arrived' without a previous discussion..... So the best you can do is to answer the question and not keeping mute (don't know your response though) but rather telling him who you are...

Hello, I just finished orientation camp in Kebbi state, during the two weeks break I got a job in a prolific company in Lagos and ofcourse they pay really well (60+, cos I'm a corper) and I'm to resume work soon, I'm in a fix- either to differ service and get the job and work it to Lagos by September, 2015 (hoping i won't have to go through orientation camp again) or just stay put and finish my service(where I'm not sure if the job will be there after service)- I need your advice pls. just go to your PPA and plead with your Boss, let him or her see reasons why you want to turn a ghost corper but you will have to go to kebbi every month for your clearance.... A day or 2 though, you might have a problem with marking of your cds card but if you have friends on ground that can help you with that.... Better for you (because some states make use of cds cards for a criteria for your clearance.

Another way and the surest way is for you to talk with your LGI not ZI oo..... This way you will be free from any wahala or whatsoever and he or she will help out with your monthly clearance (no need for you to go to kebbi until your passing out day.

Whichever way be ready to part with your alawee
